This feels like a rather tough beat'em-up in my opinion.

The music is great and fits for pretty much everything.

The gameplay felt a bit off to me. You beat up and defeat a frog, more suddenly show up but all but one run away for some reason. If you block but DROP the block during the frog's attacking animation, you take damage which I am not sure is intentional or not.

In the main menu, only Right / D works but you cannot scroll to the left. Does not take away from the gameplay but again, seems odd to not allow menu directions to go both ways.

Overall, simple yet fun game to play. There is only one medal and all you have to do is knockout one frog foe.

The left not working on the level select is because i was awake for almost 30 hours at that point and im a dumb idiot at coding

The attack animation fixing was somethin we had on the sorta to-do all weekend, but i kept putting it off, thinking id be able to fix it before the deadline. Looks like I couldnt woops.

Thank u for review nekomika you are one of my favourite new grounds users

So time consuming. ;-; Also, kind of strains the eyes after filling about 3 lines as well.

The gameplay is simple, keep left-clicking and get the SHOOOOOOOOOOOM to fill up as much as possible over time. Once you hit the max of 6,478, you get a "Congrats, the game is over lol" screen and a medal.

I do like the concept of how the music plays for as long as you are clicking and trying to fill up the screen.

I did not like how I kept feeling a need to look away from the screen from time to time because the constant popping effect kind of made my eyes strain a bit. :(

The medals are easy... although the latter is really time consuming even if you can click quickly. It took me roughly 16 minutes to click 6,478 times. First one to get that medal though... worth it. :')

One error I did notice is if you refresh the page and / or reset the game to get a lower time for how fast you got to 77 O's, the High Score board does not seem to update at all. EDIT: Seems that it updated after I finished this review. :D

Overall, neat concept, just needs a tweak or two to make it better.

thanke nekomika you'rea god damn maniac for getting that medal lmao

I hope the flashing stuff isnt too hard on people. Maybe I could tone it down

Pretty good game, wrote this review out while playing through the game.

During the prologue, there is a grammar error:

" transform the house in a rat colony" should be "transform the house into a rat colony."

During the overall game, the mouse should made a few pixels smaller, just my opinion. Feels like it takes up a bit of a space to me.

In the upper left room of the house, the book about Tempo speeds repeats the second page onto an entirely new page. Was it meant to be two or three pages? Or was the third page meant to be other notes?

In Yorick's bedroom - in his diary on April 19th:

"put a security door to the tower probably he was" should be "put a security door to the tower; probably he was" for the sentence.

After that, had a little difficulty completing the game before consulting your walk-through. Very well made game and I can tell you put a lot of time and effort into this game. :D

Nirag responds:

Thank you very much for the review!
And thank you for the feedback, too, I'll look into those things! :)

Seems like a rather pointless game, there are times the game seems broken as well. In stage 3, at the end of the second platform you have to jump before you get to the end of it or you die and get a screaming sound effect that goes on for far too long. Do you plan to try improving graphics and gameplay in the future?

VladoChemist responds:

Thank you for your review. As for level three there are spikes on the end of the second platform that can kill you. This is actually an improved version of touch the red circle, which got removed. I dont plan on changing anything about this game because i only made it to test out the engine im using and improve my skills. Im gonna keep making better games in the future and i hope ill improve

This game is a really early pre-alpha build I am guessing? That being said, it will need a lot of cleaning up before it starts to look better (and hopefully that can be submitted for people to review and give feedback on as well.)

Pros:

- Kind of fun to play but can be frustrating
- The background moves while you move, do not see that too often, looks good

Cons:

- There is a lack of any music, sound effects, or background noise at all
- Clunky controls, there are times you can be a few pixels off and still kill the enemies or you end up hitting a ceiling that you cannot see and die.
- Background graphics are really obvious rips as they are not cleaned up at all and just seem messy
- The end level icon seems pretty unfitting for the game
- Character's standard pose seems really strange and like they are only looking downward the whole time

Hope this review helps and that in the future, you two can improve a lot on your game.

AndresOreos responds:

Thanks a lot! Yes this is our first game, we have made this in only a month.
We will add an animation for killing enemies, and fix the collision issue!
Your feedback was helpful and nice.

This game is all about speed and precision. It also requires being a bit patient to hit all the bugs you can within the allotted time limit.

The medals work and seem easy enough to get. Triple Kill was a bit tricky as I had to kill two bugs until they were near each other and then just focus on a third one so it would be close enough to the other two.

Not a bad game, will there be a third one?

hosani69 responds:

Thanks for your positive feedback. And yes there will be a 3rd episode with more complex gameplay.

I honestly had fun playing this game. Easy concept and pretty easy to also get up really high. I was pretty confused that reaching over 2,000 points flashed up a "You suck!" message though. Was that an error possibly that did not get fixed up in time?

nissykim responds:

Hey, I'm glad you had fun! No, that was intentionally but you might get some different messages when you keep on getting higher ;)

Fun game with a few tricky jumps here and there that took a few minutes to master. Even cooler to see that someone in the speedrunning community did a speedrun of this game. :D

Nerdotik responds:

Thanks mate for your kind words! Yes, Tasselfoot made it, and is fun to watch him speedrun Porkin! Thanks for playing the game bro, feel free to drop me an email with suggestions or just to say "HAAI", i am happy to hear back from you anytime! :D Porkin YEEEEEEAH!

The medals seem somewhat easy but this game is pretty difficult to play when the mouse cursor keeps going off screen or when the game acts like I am holding down the mouse cursor on the fidget spinner.

Should try to make the game-screen wider or maybe add in a full-screen option to keep the cursor from going outside the game window.

Thanks for the response, forgot to mention in the original review, you shouldn't have to reload the browser for it to register a spin, that's just silly.

Artur-Felipe responds:

Thanks for the comment. When this happens please reload sir browser.

Interesting game design but I did notice a flaw with it. I seemed to only have it happen twice but for whatever reason, with wi-fi off and still some time left, the game had two times where it seemed to think I had touched a block. Might have just been me but seemed a bit weird. Otherwise, this seemed simple yet easy to play.

Nomron responds:

Thanks for the feedback! That sounds weird, I haven't noticed that. Sorry!
