[Sea of Our Own]

This song seems like it has a slow buildup to it and then the main beat kicks in. The "ungh" sounding vocals near the start sound unfitting in my opinion. The main rhythm and distant ambience the song gives off reminds me of years past and old video games where you could explore for ages and never grow bored. Beautiful song, I hope to hear more like this eventually.

Stunningly positive and healing track. Feels like a track for someone regaining their spirit and carrying on and getting better than they had been previously at following their dreams. Love it <3

Absolutely beautiful buildup. I could see this being used in a variety of situations where someone is shown kindness for the first time in a long time and it pulls them out of a dark time in their life and start to improve themselves. You plan to make more songs like this one eventually? :D

Damn is this wonderful, feels like listening to a song playing at the start of a new game as you watch the main character keep trying to get back up every time they get a game over. :D

Wow, been almost a year since you saw you two upload here. :o

Nice to hear the skills have improved in that time as well. I think the vocal track could have been mastered a little more and made to fade in and out. Otherwise, the vocals were not too bad and the rest of the track is very upbeat and fun to listen to. :D

Overall, sounds pretty nice and I look forward to hearing more from you two again. :)

[haunted]

What plug-in did you end up using for the synth? Could see this being used in a house level. I don't think it would be too out of place for those indie RPGMaker games that occur in haunted houses.

ah i knew i shoulda put that in the description. for the synth that plays through the whole track, its magical8bit plugin, so its basically just playing a basic ass square wave, albeit with some FL Studio effects on top of it. For the chime sorta stuff that plays a minute or so into it, its either Keyzone Classic on the electric preset, or Dexed on the 4th preset which I cant remember what it was, maybe Pharoh?

Either way all these plugins are free, and I updated the description with links to everything I used

Spent so much time trying to get all the GFs and cards. Final Boss took me awhile due to having a scratched 4th disc. :(

I hope FF 8 gets a remake someday, it is pretty underrated.
