Smooth as heck, I like this tune a lot.

DreamEater responds:

Thank you so much for listening and taking the time to review NekoMika. I really appreciate it :)

Damn, this is wonderful cover, even the backmasked vocals are perfect. The tune could use some refining but otherwise I think this turned out great, hope you make more great songs in time!

Michael-Flaherty responds:

Thanks, those reverse vocals were tough to get sounding right.

Perfect sounding song! The tune is just so bubbly! :D

TodukenMusic responds:

thanks <3

Professional and heavy, not hearing anything I feel could be improved. There are very rare times when it sounds like they moved away from the mic for a brief moment, not enough to affect how the vocals sound though. Could just be that it sounds like the vocals fade for a moment though. :o

Hope to keep hearing more fantastic collabs, Row Skino has a great voice. :D

Pretty damn sick, if you had the vocals making more of an impact and leading, would be fantastic. Kind of getting a mix of Julien-K, Pendulum, and Wolfgun from this track! :D

Yoshiii343 responds:

I'll be honest, I don't know how to mix the vocals in a way that it doesn't take too much space/sounds too loud.

Has a Future Bass sound to it but it sounds somewhat softer at the same time. Was not expecting to hear this genre in the contest, surprised me, lol.

The vocal mixing was quite creative, the rhythm itself makes me think of a rainy day and relaxing at home. I like it.

Best of luck in the contest!

Aydin-Jewelz123 responds:

Thank you dude. Originally I was going to future it up all the way but the piece itself just shaped into something softer, especially given the context & feel of the original itself, it just fit better into a chill track. I usually start a remix with a theme in mind, then just let myself get carried into wherever it goes. Usually works out better than trying to force it into a specific genre, although I guess it depends on the flexibility of the contest, which in this case they let us do pretty much what we wanted :)

Rocking remix, almost curious how it would have sounded with a dark synth added to it. Other than that, I think you did great! The breakdown was glorious!!!

Best of luck in the contest!

djt820 responds:

Really appreciate the review!! Glad you enjoyed it.

Cheers!

This is a pretty enjoyable remix overall. The one thing I recommend though is lowering the master volume of the final piece down by 2-3%. Otherwise, I think you did pretty damn nice on this one.

Best of luck in the contest!

moreweed responds:

yeah

A pleasant and simple melody set to the vocals. Sometimes all one needs to make a great remix is go for the minimal amount of sounds one needs and see where it will take them to at the end of the day and at the end of composing process.

I think you great and I love the simplicity of the melody.~

Best of luck in the contest!

Przekrosza responds:

Thanks! I wanted to stay true to the original, so I'm glad that you think it complements the vocals.

I had to wait for the remix to come in, thought it was just drums and a synth added in but once the beat drops, this gets pretty damn sick.

Aside from the mixing at the start sounding a bit too much like it was clashing, this is a good remix. I look forward to hearing more tunes from you in the future!

Best of luck in the contest!

klru27 responds:

Thank you so much! I agree about raw and clashing sounds because I'm still not good at mixing...
