Peaceful

Well the harp makes my ears feel like they are vibrating a bit. Nice effect there. The violin also seems to carry a soft feel with it and giving a feeling of the calm coming forth. The light vocal track is nice in that it makes you feel like people have been helping you move along and getting you up there with friends and helping you complete the journeys of hope in the video game.

Really just love how this track has a calm feel about it and that makes you feel just happy as you look up at the sky wondering what tomorrow shall be bringing for you too. Very peaceful song.

Overall, peaceful and puts a smile on your face.

pretty much what we were going for =) thanks for the review.

Dancing

Do some fist pumping, feet stomping, glow stick raving, DJ and partying all night with this one. Great sounding piece and it has a very happy feel with it as well. Like the style of this one. The synth has a playful feel with it going on and just bouncing around to other parts to make other instruments sound even better.

The bass is really groovy and I like the heavy bouncing feel it brings. I also hear a slight xylophone at the end? The drums here were fun to listen to I think.

Overall, great dancing song.

Catstuffer responds:

Thanks! I'ts kinda pieced together, and I'm not very proud of the unblancedness of the sound, but hey, this WAS my first song experimenting with Nexus at the time, so I guess its not toooo bad :P

Thanks for reviewing :)

Very interesting

Well this song sounds really interesting to me. The background beat is just as interesting as your vocals and lyrics. Very well put together though. Great job on this piece.

RetributionVox responds:

.___. My vocals? Oh, no no. Those are Childish Gambino's vocals and lyrics. I used an acapella of his.

A cavern

Do like how it seems to present a feeling of amusement and being unaware of where you have just stumbled into or possibly fell down into. You explore the cavern and wonder what all is there. You wonder why the walls sparkle with gems and if anyone is possibly residing there. You keeping going deeper and deeper in wishing to know what is going on.

Soon after you come across a small area with some lit up torches and a plate of food. You walk towards it and soon pass out in your cloak. You soon reawake to a girl smiling at you and notice yourself wearing girl clothing, you look at her confused and try to get up but notice she tied you down.

"That cloak was smelly so I decided to wash it. Hope you don't mind wearing these for now, I don't venture out of this cave much. Been stuck here since I was about 15, you look about my age anyways. I'm 19 now anyways. I'll untie if you don't do anything rash or horrible.", she says slowly untying you.

You feel your wrists and notice she even put white gloves on you. You look at the outfit and it feels bizarre but you don't move much for the rest of the day. You just want your cloak back feeling rather embarrassed and quite out of place having to wear something else.

She soon brings back the cloak and you quickly throw it on while taking off the clothes. She looks sad seeing you leave and you turn around giving her a hug and thanking her for taking care of you.

"Can I come?", she asks in a sad tone.

"Sure, it must get lonesome and boring in a cave with no visitors at all.", you reply.

"Thank you!", she exclaims while putting all her clothes in a giant bag and picking up her weapons as well. She gives you one of her older swords and you put it on your opposite side knowing that you can use two swords now. The two of you soon begin exploring the cave for a way out...

The bass here is very pleasing and simple to listen to on the ears. Gives a feel of confusion and slight bewilderment in the mind. The synth is also very nice and sounds very light and fluffy as it plays here. I like the glass like sound at the end giving a feel as if finding a new friend somewhere too.

Overall, great song, very soft and pleasing to listen to, nice work here.

Wow, that's a very interesting interpretation. Thank you for the review.

Time to travel

Gives that feel that you are starting an adventure actually. There you are on stage one and watching things shoot down and make explosions in the background and keeps you motivated to run to the finish line and go on to the next level. Interesting song though, what program was used?

The bass here is very solid and audible. Has a relaxing feel to it as if letting you become aware of where you are. The synth has a nice catchy feel within and gives a feel of just getting started up and learning everything. The drums and dub sounds were great and gave that feel of needing to hurry and find the boss to end the game.

Overall, great game song.

Thanks for the review! The program I used is MilkyTracker, which is a tracking program meant to, as I understand it, emulate the software that was used in early music development for games way back in the day.

Cosmic travel

No idea why but it was a middle eastern feel but also a very cosmic feel to t. I can just see some kittens on a space ship trying to figure out what to do next until they arrive at a new planet to conquer with their adorable looks. Really great sounding tune though and I enjoy how it seems to be rolling along as well.

The synth that keeps rolling up and going up in triplets sounds really clean but when the other synth comes on it seems to act as a more audible bass line strangely. The main synth kind of makes me think of the desert levels from the early Sonic games too.

The bass line here is smooth and you can hear it having a bit of a bounce but I think it would have been cool to mess with the bass a bit too to see what all could have been done with it too. The drums here are nice and have a smooth beat that rinses over well and makes the rest of the song sound good. Has a constant hi hat hit and the pads and kick to go with it too.

Overall, great cosmic feeling song, really nice on the ears.

Thanks for the review! Kittens in a spaceship? You seem to like kittens. Well, glad you enjoyed it!

Sleepy

Great work on the Zelda lullaby. Just a piano and a echo effect applied to voice while multiplying it and the song sounds very peaceful and wonderful to hear. Really love how it feels. Gives you a feel of someone kind just sitting by your bed until you fell asleep as a younger person and then you remember those times have passed and you smile while looking at the moonlight.

Always enjoyed playing the Zelda games as well. Very wonderful work you have done here, it sounds beautiful to hear. Enjoyed hearing it.

Overall, great lullaby. Very peaceful and dreamy.

VGSongbird responds:

Thank you.
I really wanted to get that feel of a guardian singing to a sleepy child ^_^

Well then

Well I don't see much difference but I do feel that echo that has come on here and it feels nice on the ears I think. The song is pretty chill though in that it makes you feel pretty good while hearing it. Great work.

The synth sounds very crisp and clear. The drums are also fun to listen to and I like the little triplets that I keep hearing on this one too. Great piece of work there.

The only thing here is the bass feels so weird near the start when that is the only sound I hear, guess it isn't something I admire largely but it gets the song started so not too bad anyways, nice.

The flow of the song is very nice though and I like how it roams your mind and makes you feel better too.

Overall ,great piece of work and remastered once more.

coleknows responds:

The bass is an octave lower than what i usually do. That's why it sounds kind of funny.

Calming

As for remix I want to guess Spirit in the Sky for some reason even though it is likely not the right answer here. The song itself has a great sound, I like it. Starts soft then kicks up to drum and bass feeling. Good song, very relaxing.

The drums sound very fast and I like the rhythm they have going on. The synth has a soft feel that makes you smile and feel all better even though things aren't always going the way they should be. The bass is solid and very nice on the ears, great work.

Overall, very neat song, enjoyable.

DjClyme responds:

its actually a remix of twinkle twinkle little stars. im really glad that you enjoyed it!
