Classy party

Yup, I can see this going along with some movie based in the middle ages/middle earth time line too. The tune seems to be a real cheery drinking song as well as if people were having a party and celebrating before they get to the more serious stuff.

The violin sounds very light, cheery, and playful as if enticing the listener to lighten up a bit and just have a little bit of fun for the day. The tambourine is simple yet fun to hear I guess and kind of makes me think of Final Fantasy XII where you are at Clan Centurio. The drums play on a very light and fun note.

Overall, cheerful.

Calming

Kind of makes me think of the very old and retro Zelda and Final Fantasy games where they tended to play this style of music after something tragic had happened in the game.

The flute sounds very calming yet sad at the same time in this piece. Kind of makes you feel as if something sad had happened and you are trying to cope with a way to deal with it. The flute seems to play with a style that seems to calm you down.

Overall, calming and sad.

Interesting, as the emotion you described in your review was EXACTLY what I was feeling at the time I made it. That just shows how a person's art is a link to their soul.

fun fact though is that the instrument that has most of the lead parts is supposedly a Tin Whistle, lol. (Not the first part, but the later melodies.) I was being kind of random at the time XD

Awesome

Liked the explosive intro almost as if people had suddenly dropped to the floor at the start of the dance and during the build up they are very slowly getting back up through dancing and break-dancing too. The tune just sounds very pumped for sure, excellent!

The synth sounds very fast and rapid here which is actually pretty great in my opinion as well. The synth seems to interweave and change between two different playing patterns for most of the song as well.

Enjoyed the build up where it started with a synth and all else soon joins back in.

The bass sounds very good and basic here while holding down the beat for the synth to go with. The bass seems to remind me of older and fun synth type songs.

The drums provide a back bone on this piece and keep you feeling great as well which is actually quite well.

Enjoyed near the end where it all slowly began to stop. Awesome.

Overall, very nice dance beat.

Thank you, I appreciate the feedback! It's encouraging that you liked the ending, I've been kinda unsure about it.

You think maybe I should try to do more with the drums? I usually use them like you mentioned, as a backbone, which I guess I can do well, but maybe I should try to explore what I can do with the beat a little more.

Thanks again.

Sounds great

Kind of reminds me of a Touhou song called Bad Apple with how the synth slightly sounds near the start. This tune actually does sound quite good though so you seem to have worked that out just to the right degree. I also hear a slight bit of "Do you believe in life after love" near the midway point of the song too. This is a great tune though.

The synth sounds very light and bubbly and provides a great rhythm to get someone motivated to feel great as well. It kind of has a hop on and pull off feel as if trying to hit several notes quickly for a nice sound effect. Enjoyed when it broke down for a moment.

The bass sounds very subtle and almost mixes in perfectly with the synth which is great as well. The bass just seems to provide a great backing area of the song which is good.

The drums provide a great backbone as usual and sound very nice too. They seem to feel like a modified dance drum sound kit too as in a few notes were added and then it was all looped for a great drum sound.

Overall, I think you managed to do a very good job on this piece. Excellent work on this one. Good luck on future pieces.

Alright! Your still the best reviewer in my book. Thanks for the luck, I'll be needing it to beat this song in the future X3

Slow build

I thought the build up was slow but once the full song began to kick in it actually sounded pretty good to me. The tune kind of sounds like something from a rave club of sorts as well.

The drums are simple and I like the quick shift change before they loop again.

The bass line is very smooth here and plays out in a rather not so viscous manner which is nice to hear. It seems to provide an excellent backbone to the main beat.

The synth here sounded excellent and I like how it comes in waves and many other sounds as well. The synth just makes the tune very worth the listen to the ears as well.

Overall, excellent piece.

This one is amongst my first house songs, and I consider it one of my best creations.
I put a lot effort in creating it, but, of course, it is not perfect, and I totally agree that the build up is slow and really boring.

Thank you, your review is appreciated a lot.

Great work

However I would never ever recommend a user to put on headphones and turn up the volume all the way as it may damage the ears badly, then that would be one less person to enjoy music.

The intro is great since it starts with a simple chorus here. The chorus starts up the beat on a very light note as if an epic battle or game or adventure were about to start up.

Then the drums kick in and cause the chorus to kind of pick up a slightly new rhythm. The drums here sound quite good and almost as if it were a dance piece as well.

The synth sounds very cheery and kind of motivates you to feel quite happy with the way this piece works itself out to be a good song. Like when the synth breaks down and just bounces everywhere as if trying to pick up the atmosphere of the room and then use it to cause full happiness effect.

Enjoyed the little space down and up sounds used here. I also hear a bit of robot sounds in there as well.

I think you managed to do quite well here which is a great thing about a good song.

Overall, this song turned out quite well and I think it does make a nice theme as well, awesome.

Thanks for another epic review!!!!

Wonderful

To be honest I like how this piece starts out with the subtle and soft piano and chorus coming in as soft starters. Almost as if you had finished the fight for your life and watching pink cherry blossoms fall from the sky. Then the drums come in and you start running back to your home with your giant sword in hand smiling.

The piano sounds very cheerful and gives the feeling as if happiness was rushing through your veins and head at the same time. The chorus synth in the background kind of gives a feeling as if everything will be alright and peaceful once more.

The drums are pretty sweet here as they pay really fast. I am going to take a guess that you played them through a couple of times, chose one you liked it, looped it, then sped up the tempo of them to give a faster punk hero feel to them.

Enjoyed that breakdown near 2:35 with the drums going up and down on the reverb for a few moments. The song is really great sounding though.

Overall, very cool victory song. I can also see it being used as a level song for those reaching the final level which is a deep space facility where the boss causing lots of destruction awaits. Excellent work here.

TeHLoY responds:

Wow. That was an awesome review. I really enjoyed reading it.

Your visualization was fantastic! Really cool! I intended the song to sound cheerful, it was what I was aiming for anyway.

The drums were actually sampled and played through my DAW. Not really played that fast, that would be kind of impossible. =X But this song is an experimental song modeled after DrumNBass, thus the fast drums.

Well, thanks for leaving such a long review. Really cool. =D

A little messy

Kind of makes me think of Final Fantasy III music actually where you are getting ready to enter a boss fight with the way the bass line is set up to play here. The tune does make a really good boss song though so that is something to be happy about.

The bass line used here is very quick sounding and kind of gives a feel as if this was the final boss battle or next to last boss battle in a game. The strings feel a bit messy but they seem to keep in a good rhythm and I think the only thing that could make it better is if there was a few long string moments to make the battle song more drastic.

Overall, nice boss tune but could use some long string notes from time to time.

CheckeredZebra responds:

Thank you for the review, I'll definitely try that out. Although I'll likely be too lazy to edit it in for a while XD

But I can definitely see what you mean, starting from about 1:20ish it could use some of that.

Very fast

I kind of get a restaurant feel with this piece I guess. It kind of makes you feel as if you rushed to get done eating and junk. Cool piece though.

The piano plays very quickly and fast. It has overlaying layers that makes it feel quickly fast. You soon find yourself unable to eat as you get caught up in all the excitement and rush.

Overall, fast paced music is very fast!!

Espiongold responds:

I did try to give it a real feel, but I could not play the intro twice, I mean its not sped up to much from my own playing speed. but I had a hard time repeating the into, it would always sound off. so I had to just copy the first part and paste it whenever you hear it. It works to give it that automatic robot feel, but it still lacks a depth of care for the resteraunt, and a mistake or two in the later tune may have made it sound better.
