Over the top

Although you kind of went a bit further than it should have... oh wait, I think this turned out just perfect in the first place because I would probably get sick of that kid asking me the same question for about 15 years as well. Someone that ignorant and always asking the same thing but getting the same answer doesn't seem to be that bright either.

That and the turtle was a pedophile? Weird. Oh well, this turned out to be funny and perfect since the owl was probably fed up and the such and he finally kills himself to stop being asked an annoying question and the turtle just barfs all over Timmy calling it nectar. Hilarious fatkid, good work on this overall.

I am looking forward to it hitting the front page!!

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

EXACTLY. The only reason that I made the owl THAT insane was because this kid pretty much has come to that tree every single day for over 40 years. The first time this commercial was broadcasted was somewhere in the 1960s. (1969 I believe). If a kid was pestering you for THAT long then you would star questioning life. You would be confused. WHY DOESNT HE ACCEPT THAT IT IS 3?!?! It would slowly drive you to insanity.

Awesome and funny

Oh boy do I love to play [popular music game] except if I go to a gig and play the plastic toy instead of with my real guitar and microphone I would probably get beat up too!! This is actually a pretty awesome gem in the portal as well. Glad to see it also has a good score coming fresh out of the portal as well.

So was the drummer a llama/alpaca or what? Also nice to see there was an NES, a sword stabbing books, and a melted apple looking clock which was pretty cool. I like how the story shows how overrated [popular music game] is and that they are nothing compared to real bands anyway. This was also very awesome even though it was short anyways.

I remember when I used to play [popular music game] a lot but then I started to play real instruments and find them to be a lot better although I still play [popular music game] from time to time. Good work on this short animation, hope it hits the front page as well.

I'm glad some folks are seeing this toon - I haven't made a really all-around solid cartoon in a few months, and this one's doing better than my last few. I'm also real happy that it's got a decent score and isn't languishing at 2.9 or whatever like some of my better cartoons mysteriously drop to.

Yes, Greg is indeed a llama. I used him in my Explosion Force 5 2: Explode Harder trailer, albeit briefly. Good to know somebody noticed the background elements like the NES and SRMClock.

I actually played guitar before [Popular Music Game] came out and I enjoyed both on their own. They're bridging the gap with the newest installments of [Popular Music Game] where you can use real guitars or whatever, but I'll always prefer getting blisters on my fingers from playing my real guitar.

Excelent job here

Have to say while there is no thick plot at all, there were many effortless reviews, time, effort, and love put into this piece of work I believe. This actually turned out to be a little better than something I had expected which were simply people being people discussing people.

The way the awards were presented was rather cool and the such, the only thing I found disappointing is that most of the time while you, the special guest and Coop were speaking is that the words didn't really match up with your mouth movement which was most likely a technical problem, that's the only thing I found wrong with it.

On another notes for the audio award segment it could have simply been someone speaking to be honest but going a little further and showing a guy preparing to jack off was a bit weird.

Overall this was great but I would just change the audio award presentation a bit to being someone's voice only instead. Aside from that this was quite brilliant and fascinating to watch, good job everyone!!

Fro responds:

I forgot all about that crazy jack off screen. Wth was that.

Interesting Compilation

This was quite an interesting compilation consisting of several artists. All the skits looked like real people turned into 2D characters, very interesting. For such a large file and amazing piece I'm surprised not many people have even reviewed this gem yet.

There's no real storyline but each little skit consisted of something different from not drinking to simply jamming out to music. Very nice there.

The choice in music was vast which is great and the way the people's names are said at the title screen is nice since it becomes clear to the users how to pronounce a user's name.

Overall this is a nice piece of work.

haha.. thanks.

longcat broke the black wall D:

Amazing piece of work really, the fact you didn't use the prtsc button at all during the making would probably throw people a bit actually. Aside from that this was quite well done actually.

Audio: Jazzy as the cat starts having a growth spurt.

Art: I think it was alright, not to detailed but not sloppy so it was really nice.

Overall: This actually turns out to be humorous as you planned, surprisingly people still like Longcat.

williamdickeson responds:

Thankyou so much :D

Quite sadistic

This is still turning out to be a great little series of works. Really nice and twisted so far.

Animation: Still very nice. Like how it uses a black background and a minimum amount of coloring with each frame here, very nice.

Audio: Some nice and dark sounding songs. You should try adding a couple of songs from the Aphex twins, they have some creepy songs they have written.

Storyline: Calin wakes up and Mason turns on everyone trying to kill people and turn them over to a psychopath. The psychopath murders his friend and dies due to Mason while Calin escapes and thirty years later he is ready for revenge...

Overall: Very nice work you did here, quite twisted and dark. Wonderful work.

Hello,

Nice to see you again, I feared you were going to drop out of the club...
Anyway you pretty much hit the nail on the head as to the story, and I will check out the "Aphex Twins".

However his name isn't "Calin", it's "Colin"...

Once again thanks for the fantastic review!
Sincerely,
- Celx

Random and silly

This actually wasn't that bad if you were looking for a laugh since it keeps going from one random thing to another random thing, nice.

Storyline: There is none, it's a very random music video.

Audio: Never heard the song but it was quite random and they speak fast when they sing, sounded laughable and nice.

Animation: Probably wasn't the best it could be but I don't think it was supposed to be, more of a showcasing of many very very short skits lined up with the song which is just as nice.

Overall: Decent effort pulled by two people to make a nice piece of work, good job.

MonoFlauta responds:

Thanks for reviewing and yes, is very random :P
(Nice score thanks a lot :P)

Great work!

This was just too hilarious to not review it!!

Animation: Added in lasers? Oh no! At least they don't really put holes in people, heheheheh. Awesome.

Audio: Very fitting.

Storyline: A war starts in the middle of a snowy region. Both sides fight, a spy is defeated and the blind guy gets a stick. Good laugh.

Overall: This is a great piece of work, nice job.

Fro responds:

and the blind guy gets a stick.

Lol thanks
