Pretty neat

111 different looks for B. Was pretty cool I guess, nice Clock Day entry anyways. Found it to be interesting to say the least.

Great Work

Have to say I guess it feels that way sometimes to some people since they procrastinate for so long before they even bother getting started on doing something and by the time it is due to get something turned in or done it's usually less than half done and they feel as if they had simply wasted time working on it. I think you did a wonderful job here as well.

The animation was great and lots of good cameos as well since I saw a few clocks I rarely ever see. Funny how right when he is getting ready to tell Pineapple Clock something then steak clock appears and the program crashes with you simply tossing something aside.

Nice choice in music, I also enjoy AC/DC, good song though.

Overall, great clock day piece. I think it went well.

Well Animated

Well this one turned out to be pretty good and I guess it goes to show that not everyone can stand the test of time while others can. I would say after the ending that Strawberry gets out of the hole just a whole lot more pissed off and scared at the grim reaper clock and dog clock doing that to him and simply leaving him there to suffocate in the dirt rather than celebrate his day with him. Good work of art though, very detailed.

The animation was well done and I see you spent a lot of time shading on each frame and such to try getting details just right. Kind of funny how it starts and you have no clue why he is there and then it is revealed the grim reaper is after him for some reason or another and Strawberry simply feels it is not his time and tries to get away as fast as possible.

Then later he falls into a hole and that dog buries him likely not knowing he is there either. Wonder who was calling that dog in the end though as it leaves him but not before burying him deep under dirt possibly just annoying him seeing as Strawberry Clock can not die. Good animation though, quite detailed and nice to watch.

The music used was nice and the symphony music was pretty cool and fitting here since music can tell all kinds of stories once you begin to listen to them and see what kind of message they convey and such. I found the tunes here were fitting for every moment of the flash. Wonderful.

Overall, highly interesting and detailed Clock Day 2011 piece, nice work here!!

Interesting and Odd

Kind of funny how you expect the cat to eat the fish and it becomes the other way around. Certainly hope that cat did not belong to anyone as they will never see it again either. I have to say though I found this to be a rather interesting piece and I think you did a wonderful job of showing a little tale of how not everything is how it appears.

The animation looked very well done. How long did you end up spending to make this little short piece anyways? The cat actually looked pretty cute and very nicely drawn as well. The dude just kind of seemed unhappy with life and that fish was simply a trap. Kind of have to wonder though, why didn't the cat try to climb down and run away real quick when it saw what the fish was? The walls were also very nicely drawn so kudos there too. The graffiti was a nice touch.

The audio playing was nice and all of it was fitting where it needed to be played so nice work there on those parts. Who did the voice of the guy though, you? If so then nice, it sounds great. Really good audio though.

Overall, very excellent and well done animation, was quite awesome.

Pretty good

Heh, for a joke piece I think you did well here considering how long it probably took to do the background anyways. Some parts of the lasers coming out from the back sync up with parts of the song too. What's the song called anyways since it sounds so happy?

The background is very nicely done and I think that it is pretty cool how it changes colors a lot and just goes through a cycled loop just like the clock character does as well.

The animation was smooth though so I have to give you that much for making a good looking piece of work that loops without ever getting annoying either which is great. Kind of trippy as well I guess since it repeats as it does. Kind of makes me think of the urban myth game Polybius as well without weird hidden messages added in to screw with your head.

The song you used is rather nice and I like how it sounds too, really cool but what is it called? Would love to know.

Overall, I think this is a great piece of work and despite you having to watch longer than five seconds to appreciate the art of it I think it turns out well. Cool clock piece anyways. I think the only downside here is the clock was only doing two things.

Foxcato responds:

Thank you for your review. This is actually my first time animating a dance and it actually turned out quite well I think. The song is by Dune and is called I can't stop raving. It's the remixed version by the way. You can find it on youtube by typing this into the searchfield: The Blode Song Mix Thingy You Wanted **DOWNLOAD LINK IN DESCRIPTION.

Thicker plot

The art remains unchanged and I like it this way for the story, come to think of it whatever made you wish to use shades of pink as the main color anyways? Nice series still so far, I see you changed how some of the text was written which should be helpful to those unable to read cursive well anyways.

The font was nice though. The animation remains unchanged thankfully, would be weird if it just suddenly changed halfway through the series and such you know.

The story seems to have thickened a bit as well. I kind of wonder though why would she want to force herself to vomit and stick a fork in her throat in the process? Nice to see her one friend still cares about her no matter what though. That's what real friends do for others though right? Unless it happens to be they are always doing bad things instead.

Overall, nice to see she still has someone who deeply cares for her and her troubles. Plot thickens more.

Celx-Requin responds:

She's eating in front of people so no one will suspect she's using the food she's been given for lunch to feed "The sugar claws", which is why afterwards she vomits it up and takes the chunks to "the sugar claws".

Thanks,

Pretty cool

Shows what few drawing styles you seem to have used anyways. Each one seems interesting as well. I think possibly the only bad thing is using music instead of trying to use the original audio that went with each segment. Kind of makes you a bit confused right when the guy has his mouth moving but he isn't saying anything.

The animation was interesting since it was segment pieces. Each one was pretty interesting. I liked the Tepig one and the other with the text flying everywhere on screen. They seemed interesting to me anyways and I did enjoy them. I think another think you could have done is in one of the corners you could have created the text and link linking to what that segment was from as well.

The choice of audio was interesting anyways, matched up with what most of the content was.

Overall, nice little real.

7 # 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and counting!!!

oh, and about linking to every single, solitary part....

well, some are youtube only bits, some are not uploaded anywhere, some are collabs, and some are finished, so it would be alot of work trying to get everything organized and defined in this 2 minutes visualfest.

so, thanks for a good, though odd suggested themed, review :D

Cool

The funny part is I remember when that thread was made too. I was always wondering when someone would finally do it too. Pretty cool how you took his idea and only did minimal artwork as possible while making a very, very long script code to do what JarRock's thread wanted. Cool though.

The animation was very low quality but this was more or less to show off that it could be done in actionscript if one had time and paitence to accomplish doing so in the first place. Still pretty nice though.

Overall, cool little project, the only possible thing missing is sound effects really.

Kwing responds:

Thank you! Since I didn't have any items in my library, any sound I put in would have had to be loaded externally, which could have created a delay and would have been pretty lame if the animation eventually ended up trying to call dead links.

Pretty cool

Reminds me of the days of Xiao Xiao and when people actually made a lot of effort to produce a stick movie that wasn't newbie styled or bad. This was a really short piece though which is kind of sad since I would have loved to see how this would have gone had it been a much longer stick movie actually. It's still pretty cool but should also try more angles next time too I think.

The sound effects were nicely done and connect right when the action happens at all times. The song of choice seems to be pretty good but I think it could have been a slightly different choice to sync up with this short fifteen second piece of work. Not a bad choice but I guess a shorter piece that cuts to the action could have been nice too.

The animation was pretty nice and reminds me of Xiao Xiao anyways with more coloration added to the mix so it won't be as dull. Would have been funny if the one red one that fell and got pinned to the wall or one of the wires instead. I think it could have been interesting like that anyways.

Overall, interesting but really, really short.

Kwing responds:

Thank you! I did put a lot of work into this, so I'm happy someone's noticed.

The song choice was never meant to be in sync since I was loading it externally to cut down on the memory usage. I thought it would be really lame to make most of the memory due to music I put into it.

I'd have loved to make it longer, but my combo ideas were sort of running dry.
