[Ogre & The Witch]

Interesting

I found this to be rather short but you did a really good job considering it looks like you just used color pencils, not sure if you used crayons either. Really short but it was still corny and clever I think. Experimental and funny.

The animation was nice since it was drawn from scratch on paper too. Do not see those or claymations too often either. The chest and one eyed ogre were cool while the witch and wizard at end stuck to the stereotyped looks which is nice to see since now in modern books and such they aren't stuck to a stereotype anymore which is good as well.

The voice acting was rather solid on this so I was happy to see some of that come in here. Not sure what the witch said half the time and I recognized just one spell from Harry Potter and that was about it. Funny how the ogre locked part of itself in the chest and returned to the cave after killing the witch with her pot.

Overall, probably took a bit of time but it turned out well so nice work there. Looking forward to future pieces as well.

[Power Rangers! Pink]

Very smooth

I saw this to be a good and smooth piece with only one problem, the lack of a play button at start or replay button at end, kind of just loops on its own which isn't entirely bad but I suppose some users would like a pause or play button in there somewhere. Also noticed how part of the flash was cut off by the watermark at bottom which was just a black bar with the name of your site. In the future you think you could make the bar smaller and take up less space at least?

The graphics here were really smooth and actually quite impressive for a short twenty second piece anyways which is good in a lot of ways. What was she fighting anyways? What was their purpose? Liked how it was in a desolate desert area as well. The sounds used make it all the more impressive and better too.

Overall, good but needs a play button and smaller box area or possibly just a blend in highlightable link. Good luck in future animations.

[Pico's Penny Prank]

Funny

I found this to be a very short yet funny piece as well. The use of sound effects was good. Kind of laughed a bit when the kid was almost run over when he tried to pick up the penny. Also nice use of anime physics I suppose since I doubt a vehicle running over a penny or any kind of coin glued to the ground would get it to come off the ground. Then again in cartoons anything is possible to do right?

The animation here was nicely done anyways. Kind of could have been a bit funny if the kid swore or something when he hurt his foot kicking the penny or made grunt sounds picking it up.

Overall, very nice, if I had anything to whine about here is that it is kind of short delivered you know? Then again I have no idea how long you spent on this so it could have been time constraints right?

Well bud, it started off with my doing the keys traditionally, tracing them on flash, and filling them in and doing the backgrounds and production. Oh,and not 2 mention a whole week was spent on the beginning background. Due to time constraints this was the best thing I could do, and I finished this on 5 oclock picoday. I AM going to add more blood/length to it,and grunting sounds would fit perfect ;)

[The Sugar Claws: II-VII]

Still good so far

Also kind of funny how it covers five chapters here. Enjoyed the speech bubbles since I read them well. As for the extra fancy hand writing it took me a moment or two to read a few of the words but I was able to read them quite well anyways.

The storyline seems strange but good still. She gets a home in her new area and her father seems a bit mean but nice. Funny how that plant is called a cat too. Different name for things I suppose.

The drawings were nicely detailed. As usual I still enjoyed the minimal use of colors and simply sticking to shades and tints of one color to paint the characters and things in this series.

Overall, good work here.

[Pico vs Convict #210]

Good entry

Also was that a Geass that I saw Pico use? Nice little reference there anyways. Really enjoyed the animation though, it was great. However the only downside here is unlike the original, Convict didn't shapeshift here at all. Would be cool if he turned into a dark looking version of Pico I think.

The music was great too and very fitting. The sound effects were pretty nicely timed in to the correct frames which was good I think. Really just enjoyed how the battle went.

If I had to anything negative to say here is that Convict never shapeshifts and this was a great battle but not long enough.

Overall, excellent piece.

[Warriors of the Portal]

Perfection seeked

I have to say that I found this to be rather excellent actually. Also considering how long you spent to make a 3D CGI animation short to put on Newgrounds is groundbreaking as well. Also nice to see there were a few medals added to it so people can interact a bit as well which makes it even greater to watch. I also for some reason found the song March of The Pigs and Wish by Nine Inch Nails to be two completely fitting songs for this animation too.

The characters used were good since I recognized everyone except for the female human character put in here. Funny how no matter what Pico mocks them all in the end stating that there was nothing to stop him from becoming King of The Portal since they all killed each other off one by one. The fights and blood were good looking as well. Funny and sad how both Darnell and Nene get killed off despite being friends of Pico one would assume they team up to kill everyone else so they can escape and get back with Pico as they work as a team to get Pico to the top.

The storyline was really nice. They all wake up dazed and confused in a deep area finding out they must fight each other to get out of the place alive which is kind of crazy since even friends became enemies. Also I am guessing Hank was one of the medal characters since I never even saw him fight either. Funny how the huge blast from P-Bot was not enough to take out Mindchamber and in the end it was two of Mindchamber's creations that fight each other to the death on the surface too! Then either of them have to get ready for a final confrontation with Pico who has an endless chain in his chaingun I see. That was completely interesting.

The animation was mind blowing here. The last time I saw someone even bother trying to get an effect of being 3D looking was Weebl, the person who did Trannyformers, and that other guy who did the animation series "Battle for the Portal". This piece was good though considering anyone with a bit of experience on working with 3D models (I have tried working with them for a class) can tell you that they take a very long time to work on as well. I think this was good considering you do a lot of stuff for the art portal, still nice to see you were working on something for the flash portal rather slowly but progressing along and enjoying how close you were to finishing it until you got done and put it up on Newgrounds today!!

Lastly it was nice to see you made a call to arms for the creators of the characters used to come around and have their voices used for their people. they did a solid work with voices here as usual too. Sad to see how some got killed off too soon. Kind of feel sorry for the Time Fcuk creation since it had no attacks or way of defending itself in the first place. Cool but sad how we see Jazza's avatar in 3D yet he gets kills off as well too.

I have to say that overall, the time, effort, voice acting, scripting, and everything else used was well worth it considering how long you spent on this. Overall, you did an excellent job on this. I am glad to see you did another nice piece of work with other wonderful artists. I also hope to see you on Pico Day 2012, congratulations on this piece of work. I am glad to see how well it turned out.

Lastly, the medals were a nice touch of creativity here since they get users to wish to interact with the animation as well as watch it. I agree with your medal statements in a way. Watch it once then go back through and use the medal names as a clue of when to click something during this four minute long epic.

Overall, excellent piece for Pico Day I truly have enjoyed it down to the last drop here. I look forward to another CGI or flash drawn piece from you in the near or distant future, truly enjoyed it I did. Good collab here, lovely how everyone came together to help make a cool piece like this all possible.

[Pico's Fresh Burdens]

Excellent stuff

I was expecting this to be crappy but wow did you put a lot of effort int this and you covered almost all your bases.... except for voice acting, could have asked a few users I think, they would have been happy to do that for you because Nene with voices from Team Fortress 2 seems kind of sad to me but it was cool I guess. Also I think Zone would have been happy to see HER icon in this piece and yes Zone is a cool lady.

The storyline here was good too. Zone wound up grinding her into the city kind of like Shadow from Sonic Adventure 2 Battle starting into Radical Highway which was also fun. Then she goes to jail and has to sit with Nene for a bit. Pico borrows Darnell's ride while he rides in the back.

The soon arrive at the city and Pico must take out a legion of UberKids before fighting Pikanjo, he nearly dies and then Darnell shoots his head off saving Pico. Pico soon saves Zone while Nene beats him senseless for some reason or another. What was Zone saying at the end before you cut it off? :C

The voices were cool here. ANy chance of telling me what all songs you used here since I like them.

Overall, excellent Pico Day piece, really liked this.

I don't know the first one. The second one is the GTA san andreas theme, 3rd=Suck My dogs dick by Wesley Willis, 4th=I don't know what it is; it's from the Dark Fury movie 5th=Awating the Turmoil by Valley of the Dead. Zone Tan said "That nikkas 15 years old, dawg" I got it from the boondocks. Thanks. I still think zone is a guy because I haven't seen photos of zone yet lol.

[Pico: the lost episode]

Funny

Like how this completely mimics the episode as well except for the last piece where he has an angry face on and just in boxers and a tight tee. Good little funny mimicry and homage to Spongebob and Pico day at the same time anyways.

Not sure title of the song but could probably figure it out if you just looked a little bit. The animation was quite solid and that is very nice to see as well. There is no plotline and it is only an endless tribute loop which is cool anyways.

Overall, I thought it was funny anyways. Nice work.

[Darnell's Beats]

Seems alright

Not the best submission of the day but I will give you credit for at least trying to make something related to Pico day. Now I await someone to do one on Nene which might not even happen sadly. Enjoyed how throughout the whole animation everything was shaky anyways.

The P-Bot body part was kind of out of touch with the tune if you were trying to make the angry faces change with the drum beat playing. Nice how you ended it with a link to the song playing which was good I think. Darnell seemed to be pretty chilled out here as well.

Overall, nicely done little vid.

Thank you it might not look like it. But i spend alot of time making this animation. I had so many ideas. I wish i started with the animation even earlier! But life got in the way, man i hate saying that all the time buts its true.
