Hard anyways

Going to start off with just asking why not use a Newgrounds preloader? Just asking because I have never really enjoyed listening to those ads that pop in with those kind of preloaders to say the least.

The game itself was challenging anyways. The blue and red rooms were harsh however there was one room that I spent more time on than any other room in the game sadly and that is the third screen.

I started off seeing it could possibly be a fun game but then I came there and spent roughly around twenty minutes just trying to get the jump perfect to fit into that small space near the top. I would reconsider possibly lowering the area a little bit so players can get in there a bit easier rather than just allowing most players to get frustrated there and quit. If they quit there because of how hard the jump is then likely they won't get to enjoy the rest of the game.

Every other area in the game was just perfected though. Guy runs a bit faster than I thought he would as well.

The audio used was very nice too. The gameplay physics were good except for once again wall jumping because from time to time when I was going to jump he would simply fall again which discouraged me a bit actually. Kind of adds a challenge though.

The graphics used in this game were very nice yet simple at the same time. Since this is an early version I hope the future versions offer a bit better game play physics anyways.

Overall, just need to fix up the physics a bit is all and the landscape of a couple of rooms.

Cute game

Well I found this to be a pretty cute game anyways. The powerups were also nice. I could probably play this all night and not get tired of it at least until I fell into the bottomless abyss of space anyways.

The gameplay was real simple. Clicking twice allowed double jumps and I enjoy the music went metal for a moment when faced with foes i nthe game which kind of makes you feel a sudden need to jump and keep away from them. Like how the more items you got without being touched the higher the multiplier went.

The achievements were a nice touch and give the game a bit of good jive and jolly fun to it and challenge. I enjoyed the challenges this game presented along with the fun too. This game just makes you feel pretty happy. Like the little captions the cat gives off as well. I enjoyed the rocket and magnets since they were super cool and helpful too.

Overall, this turned out to be a real fun game, would be cool if you could also unlock some different looks for the cat too. Have fun on future projects.

Snazzy

Also that "Resend Medals" button is a nice touch just in case one might not get medals to appear on page when they should. The only think you could have possibly done is something another user had done earlier and try to make a few different kind of sample reviews along with adding in a random coding that changes between reviews to a new random one rather than the same ones.

The background was a nicely done yet simplistic thing and the medals don't appear to be hard to get .I guess it could be a good starter piece for someone who is not used to flagging reviews or submissions. I think you did a nice job on this one for your first actual game piece.

Overall, good effort, nice medals.

I also thought of doing that, but I couldn't find a code for it. Something like "Name that Pokemon" flash, right?

Yes, it is a really easy quiz for starters. There is still a secret medal which no one but me has obtained. I won't reveal much, but if you PM me I'll give you 2 hints. Thank you for your review, SCTE3!

Fun anyways

Kind of simple though. Would have been nice had you added in a few new backgrounds or something I guess. Another cool thing would have been adding something to where after the scene is made that they all tear each apart with whatever weapons they can get their hands on to fight with.

The stuff you can drag around is cool I guess. Should also link and credit the author in the audio portal who did the song so users can go download and enjoy the song as well.

Overall, cool I guess.

Nice game

This turned out nice anyways and the choice in music was also good to see. Some of them I had not heard before but they were good. The songs got harder as you progressed up at the NG office. Had to stick around at door to move up to next difficulty which was good anyways.

The graphics were pixelated which was cool to me anyways. Simple rhythm game play made it easy to get used to as well so that was nice to see. The songs used were pleasing. Also nice to see a gallery here. Funny how the background and the characters kind of felt like simple game gifs too.

Overall, fun game.

thanks for your good review!

Fun yet hard

Unlike the first two this one has some nice references and is 100x harder to complete than the first two. Then again you aren't just jumping off sides anymore either. Game is slightly glitchy though as I was able to complete some levels by literally jumping through walls and other NPCs. About the only thing needed fixing, aside from that good game.

Interesting

Well this was interesting anyways. What inspired you to make this quick piece anyways? Nice to see that sometimes the face doesn't match up with what kind of person they are. Some of the charming people turned out to be deranged while some deranged looking people turned out to be bright helpful people.

Guess you are trying to let people know that sometimes looks can be very deceiving and that the person can be totally different from what you think. Good lesson taught. Background and buttons looks pretty cool too. Liked how the end results tended to be. I tended to get around 80%, not bad anyways.

Overall, good little game.

I read the phrase " you could see the glimmer of intelligence in his eyes" when someone was talking about Chris Langan. And I thought it was retarded so there you go, I made this.

I'll make more of these, it's funny. Like for instance: can you tell a modern art sculpture apart from a piece of random garbage in a landfill?

That would be hilarious. Only wish I could track the results.

Could use a lot of work

As in this game is just lacking a lot of content to it. Would be nice if after you hit the tape and it finishes that there should be a replay button somewhere so users won't have to right click and start over again. The background is simple and seems decent anyways so that is nice too.

Would have been real nice had you added some music to the background which isn't too hard to learn how to do actually, just have to make sure it is short and can be looped. Then the game play is kind of fun I suppose since the harder it gets hit and the farther it goes the longer it goes before being smashed to pieces.

Overall, just needs a lot of work.

Great game

Glad to see this one turned out well too. The graphics make it feel like it as an old school game but texting adds another feel to it since you have to type what you want Pico to do. Kind of funny how Burnt Face Man was added but didn't really do anything aside from giving a penicorn for simply guessing his name.

The music used was very nice sounding and made you feel like you were at an arcade as well so nice work there too. This game turned out great as well, glad to see it has medals and everything put into it as well. Nicely done.

Overall, very fun Pico Day game.

Magical-Zorse responds:

The penicorn serves a role in the game

Great Game

This was great but I won't say anything truly negative mostly because my laptop has very small and scrunched together arrow keys. Oh well, my problem then. The game was fun though to play in its current form.

The graphics were fairly well done. The headbanger looked pretty cool as well. The backgrounds were red and very nicely worked while the text, arrow keys, and menu moving button thingy all looked pretty nice.

The game play was awesome although I prefer to headbang with my hair to this instead. :P I have to say though you did a great game collaboration here.

Overall, cool game.
