Dub wub wub lovely

Sounds very crazy anyways, kind of makes me think of the episode of My Little Pony where Rainbow Dash was making weird faces and sounds to try making the guard laugh. It is still a very nice and cool sounding piece anyways.

The wubs and deep remixing sounds I hear are very chaotic feeling as if a boss battle were going to start very soon and you had to battle the creature that had done stuff. The synth sounds very pleasing and awesome here as it plays up a beat that makes you feel great.

The drums were cool and kind of wind sounding as they would slowly start at some parts. Really like when it blasts up the full way into a chaotic boss battle sounding piece though as that was pretty sweet to have the song do anyways.

Overall, cool chaotic piece.

LOL! You mean the same episode where Princess Trollestia's pet Pheonix goes into the hooves of a confused Fluttershy, thinking she can use her kindness and knowledge to bring the seemingly 'sick' bird back to health?

Also, thanks! I need practice on automating my bassline to a more suitable catchy tune..

Still strange

No Pinkie Pie makes me sad. Really nice to see you added Rainbow Dash though, pretty awesome. Next piece should feature only ponies. Kind of have to wonder what the idea of the speech was though? Nice voice editing though, makes it kind of creepy yet very interesting at the same time too.

The piano sounds quite pleasing on this one and plays at a very fast pace. I guess you played it at a certain speed then sped it up to a higher BPM. The bass line is very soft and soothing here as it sounds pleasant. Then the drums play a nice quick beat and is very calming.

Rainbow Dash helps make it cooler. The synth was a nice add on later I see. The voices seem to take on a life of their own as they constantly jump back and forth at each other too. Still quite interesting anyways though. What was the speech about anyways?

Overall, 20% cooler as Rainbow Dash said. :P

DJ-Firepoint responds:

It's a few bits from various speeches, about how the government increased university tuition fees after they said they would cut them during the election campaign; the basic premise was about how polititians lie, and I decided to focus on that. The speech at the end is David Cameron's inaugral speech as the new Prime Minister.
Also, I'm entering round 3 of the brony remix competition, with a song that contains Pinkie Pie exclusively :P

Soft start

The windpipe at the start gives a nice start to the song and kind of makes you think something calming maybe happening. Then the drums come back on and begin to give you a feeling as if an epic battle of sorts were going to be starting soon as you head to the battlefield against the queen boss character.

The bass used was very nice and gives a very nice backbeat to the song too. The piano plays rapidly fast and almost as if a madman were playing a away at a fast tone as well. Really have to say though you did well here.

The tune kind of makes me think of several bosses from the Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy series. I think this song would do well in either of them if they played for a secret boss hidden in the games.

Overall, excellent boss battle song.

Shanath responds:

Ah, I'm glad you liked it. The original theme is even better and I'd advise you to listen to it if you ever have the chance.

Thanks for the review. :]

Interesting

Really like how it starts with sounding rather exciting and then it simply calms down later into a soothing piece once more anyways which is interesting to say the least.

The synth is really interesting as it changes between two different synths which was a pretty cool thing to do anyways. The bass was very calming here as well and just in the backing area of the tune which was pleasing. Like how there is also slight and rapid drum rolls too which was neat.

Overall, good trance piece anyways.

Thank you :) Actually there are no drums; it just sounds like it is :P

Strange

I think this could possibly work for a very bizarre space designed level kind of thing I guess. Still sounds quite charming though. Kind of reminds me of the anime DearS.

The synth is very pleasing and calming in my mind actually. It just seems to go so well as a beat in my head. The bass line sounds soft as if helping the player relax. Then the high space notes kind of make me think of some movie from the 90s I can't recall the name of. I think it was Ferngully.

The drums sound very nice here and play out a calm beat that is also very fast and cool too. The whole beat comes together and just makes you feel like you were part of the level or in the intro song for some anime.

Overall, cool video game piece.

Under the housey house

Well I like the way it starts with the whoosh and then it changes into a really cool house beat for people to enjoy. Kind of like the strange space alien feel you added to it as well. I guess anyone would feel that way upon moving to a new country t though.

The whistle and whoosh sounds were pretty cool. The synth sounds really nice and plays a good rhythm. The drums are solid and smooth too. The drums have a cool cave like feel to them actually. The bass line is very wet yet very cool at the same time too.

Overall, I like this house beat, kind of makes me think of Pinkie Pie.

Haha thank you, these reviews are all really encouraging.

Groovy remix

I guess people still like to move it, move it right? The remix kind of makes you feel like getting up and moving to the groove anyways which is always nice to hear I guess. Very nice remix though.

The synth sounds pretty nice and 20% more funky than the original. The drums are really nice and flow good on this one. The xylophone was a nice addition. The bass is funky and smooth like drinking water too.

Overall, really nice beat remake, liked it a lot.

Strange

Rhythm? have it or you don't?

Most of the start didn't sound like much of a beat sadly. Then it starts to slowly sound like it might be a beat of some kind.

The drums sound very strange and chaotic to me. Almost as if someone was just banging away at random notes trying to produce a good song. Also kind of makes you think of a factory too.

The choir sounds quite pleasing anyways. Then you got a slight synth sound in there too. Then altogether it slowly forms a very chaotic beat of sorts anyways.

Overall, probably not the best you have done right?

SoulSecure responds:

Naw, I thought that beat out. To me it sounds very much so like a beat, with a clear structure, it's just not your average beat.

No, it's not my best, but if I had added variations and junk, it'd be much better.
