Calming

Well I have to say this is not an overworld theme I recognize very well. I remember it from some certain levels though where there was no real goal aside from having fun and collecting coins that were everywhere. Still a very cool remake of the tune though.

The violin was a very nice piece of this. I really like the harp and xylophone working together to create a wonderful combination and beat. The synth was also nice.

Overall, cool SMW3 remake.

Great remix

Have to say though she was one tough cookie and ironically the only female champion in the series. She was pretty much Blue's counterpart three generation away which is a very nice change from themed champions. This remake is very pleasing though.

The synth sounds really good and very fast too which makes it all the more better and enjoyable to listen to I think. The bass line is very smooth and under the layers to make a very nice little tone. The drums sound rather well done and nicely done in on this one, I really like what you did here, great job making this.

Overall, thanks for doing a remake.

Laguna a gun man

My gosh yes this is awesome! I just had so much fun doing the battles in the dream sequence because this always played during the fights boss or not. It just had a really cool and literal dreamy battle atmosphere to it. It really just captured what the battles from the past and dream must have been like for all of them too.

The synth sounds so amazing here as it plays several tones at once. The bass line is pumping and pretty cool too as it continues forth to help give a feel of winning. The drums sound cool and I like the little rapid clap sounds heard as well since they give off a feeling of being great.

The little gun and sword sounds were a little nice addition to the mix I think.

Overall, awesome remake here.

Gario responds:

Glad you enjoyed the track. The claps were something I virtually took straight from the source - they just were too awesome to leave out. Though listening back to it I may have mixed them a little too far to the front, but it's pretty old now; no use worrying about it.

;)

Great remake

Find it funny how unique the Deoxys theme is since it was the only one with a space atmosphere too it despite Clefairy and a few others coming from places not of Earth or whatever planet they live on.

The drums were cool and sounded rather pleasing to me as well so I was quite pleased to hear them the way they turned out after all too. The synth sounded nice and I liked the wet slap sound coming from the drums. The bass line was soft and cool.

Overall, awesome remake of the space Deoxys battle theme.

i thought i responded to this already... sorry this review response is almost a year late... i didn't catch it here till just now. the deoxys theme is a very unique. it doesn't sound like any other track from any other pokemon game i recall (not counting black and white, havent played them, dont plan on it either...). thats one of the few reasons i remixed/remade it. i'm glad you enjoyed it. thanks for the review and your time in listening!!

No hearts

Yet they destroy creatures with many hearts in hopes they may regain what they lost when they gave into darkness. Very nice tribute mix though. Kind of makes you think there was a factory part to the castle they all resided in together.

The synths sound pretty nice on this one as they give that ambient robotic tone to the mix. The bass line is very subtle and lightly plays in the background at a good pace. The remix sounds were pretty cool actually, makes it feel strange to you. The drums sound really nice and quite nice in this beat as they play.

Overall, very nice tribute piece.

I haven't been on here in forever 0.0 But I was looking through my old music and noticed that I never answered your review! So, just here to say thanks, nearly a year later, lol.

Bouncy

Has a real bouncy feel to it and reminds me of an older techno/house song I heard on an album a long time back a few years ago too. The beat sounds quite pleasing on the ears though and really cool too. Like what you did on this beat for the most part anyways, it just works.

The synth sounds incredibly pleasing, slow, and melancholy too. Then you got the second synth that plays the higher and far more rapid notes that in turn make this into a cool trance beat actually. The bass line here gets smooth and helps move the beat along as the song plays out and makes the listener feel happy to hear it.

The drums sound pretty cool and neat here as they play very fast triplet notes in rapid succession of each other.

Overall, this tune sounds really nice, great dancing or relaxing song either way though. Nice work here on this one.

Thanks for this review!

Yep, has a bouncy feel, that's what I intended. Not exactly the relaxing song in my view..

Appreciated for the effort in this review. XD

Epic remake

Was wondering when someone would do this. Sadly this battle is in the Japanese only. Quite an incredible boss battle considering they take a lot longer than Sephiroth since Terra's armor shell is pretty strong. Ironically the battle begins with it asking Sora (with Ventus/Roxas within him) why they came back after Terra had been forced to betray them. Then the epic battle ensues between them.

The drums sound incredibly fast and quite awe inspiring here as they give a battle march feel to the whole thing and kind of keeps you on edge during battle. The trumpets were pretty cool here and I really liked them a lot too.

The bass line was rather smooth and acted as more or less of a backing beat to the piano that plays on this one too. The tune just sounds incredibly great while fast at the same time too so it works out rather well in the end.

Overall, nice Lingering Sentiment cover.

ill tell u a secret there are easy patterns to make music like yoko :3

Sounds pretty good

Not too bad anyways. Really reminds me of how fun but difficult some of the boss battles were in the first game since if you died you had to watch the cutscene(s) all over again. Still a really good remake.

The trumpets and cymbals make a nice combination of sounds here too. I think I hear a trombone right? The drums have a nice simple beat though so that works well. The flute sounds nice when it rapidly descends in the beat format.

Overall, nice remake, nice loop.
