Really enjoy the creative sound of this track. Sounds like something from a Tim Burton movie too, awesome!

The bass rhythm and drums kind of make me think of Pirates of the Caribbean with the simple rhythm. Then the guitar makes this all the more cooler later in and kind of feels like a mix between a boss battle and a rave. The constant sound of that little trinket and the ufo sound are also pretty nice.

Overall, steampunk and awesome.

thanks so much for your review

Well this is another good song. Only problem I had was the first few seconds of the song could have been cut off since there was a drum hit and then a few moments of silence before the guitar started up.

Really have to say, I loved how the guitar sounded with the phaser effect applied making it go back and forth on the sound. Who was doing the vocals by the way? They sound excellent while singing although at times it sounds like they are backing away from the microphone for a moment, I guess to catch their breath right?

The bass sounds really smooth and I like how the groove just seems to keep you there listening the whole time as well. The drums are also awesome sounding and enjoyed the drumming I heard here and the freestyle sounding moments were also great.

Overall, another awesome cover as usual!

Thanks SCTE3. If you turn your speakers up you will find there is no cut off at the start, it's just whispered lyrics as true to the original version of this song. Lead guitarist (my good friend Jim, yes the irony) is doing vocals on this track and the occasional quietness can indeed be attributed to distance from mic. The boys will enjoy this review. I can't say who, but you'd be surprised who your listening to. A great review as always.

Cheers gamejunkie.

Sounds rather charming and like it would be good credits for a tribute movie as well since it sounds similar to the original minus the overly pumped up combination of the synths and bass working together.

The synth here is really nice and kind of makes me think that it is partly mixed with a guitar to produce that rhythm that keeps on going. Then the bass helps the song keep going in the back and I like how it sounds more like an atmospheric bass sound. Also kind of funny how if one pays attention to the original and this cover it is really just a long beautiful melody of all the songs in the movie put into one tune.

The drums also sound really nice here and greatly done for simplicity. Liked how you added a filter to them for a cool effect. Great beat.

Overall, awesome cover.

Really have to say that I enjoyed this song and the happy tone it has.

The classical feel and it also gives a feel of something wonderful that is getting ready to happen or has just happened.

The drum beat is very soft and light in the background, almost like someone lightly walking along as they refrain from losing their balance. The harp was very beautiful and nothing short of being the life of the song. The deep bass rhythm and trumpets sounds great too.

Overall, the song has an atmosphere of hope and I like that a lot.

First happy piece I have written in AGES, honestly. I am glad it turned out fair enough. :)

I guess I have gained a special respect for the harp among all instruments... perhaps one of these days I will end up writing a harp concerto.

Thanks for the review!

Very touching song and I like how it seems to have a light spirit sound to it.

The song has a motif feel of doing something no one else around you likes and simply being able to move on with your life. You move away, you change over the course of a year and half and when they come looking for you, they see you but don't recognize you or your voice anymore thinking that you are elsewhere.

As time moves on you feel happy with your new life and have made new friends that fill the gaping hole in your heart. Yet, you feel as if something was missing. You call the person nearly a month or so later and tell them that when they say you, they didn't recognize you because you had changed into something that made you happier than you had ever been before in your whole life and they see again embracing you with open arms letting you know they don't hate you at all.

The melody of the piano here is so beautiful and heartwarming. Excellently done piece of work.

Overall, beautiful!

A heartwarming story to go with a heartwarming song? :')

Thank you, SCTE3, I truly thank you for that - particularly because that's happened to me before. Not that EXACTLY, but a similar situation.

Excellent track! Really enjoyable beat and sounds like something to do a full rap song to at the same time. Possibly about swag or ripping on some genres that one doesn't like or people that just upset the person singer.

The vocals saying go also kind of sound a little like some dog barking just a bit too, interesting.

The whistles and claps are great. Where did you find the whistle samples from? The drums sound really nice and some loud pumping bass kicks pump up the song by a lot. The siren gives a feeling of something about to go down too.

Overall, awesome and interesting piece.

DiroNomer responds:

Thanks man, I really appreciate the review ;)

I see how the background vocals could be interpreted as dog barking as that would, in a strange way, go well with the song. I downloaded the whistle from a "Free sound samples website" with a bunch other samples as well. I completely forget the name of the site. Idk, there's a bunch of other similar websites...

Anywho, yeah. I purposefully made this as a freestyle/rip track, but I wanted to make sure it was an enjoyable instrumental as well, and not something repetitive.

Again, thanks for the comment.

:D

This song has an awesome feel to it and sounds like it would make an awesome cosmic boss battle theme too. Very awesome song, I like it a lot.

The little light popping sounds I hear make me think of someone starting to pop popcorn and I hear it giving a ping pong effect going from one ear to the other ear and back and forth again. Then the main synth has a chaotic rhythm that seems rather hard to keep up up with and I hear the use of Gross Beat later into the song, not bad at all.

The bass is smooth and sounds like an atmospheric piece being used to help build up the song. The drums are great and I like how it always starts with a drum kick before going on.

Overall, awesome song, I like it a lot, looking forward to future works.

Hi there, SCTE3! Another great review, thanks!

"The little light popping sounds I hear"
That's actually a hi-hat - I have it playing a somewhat random rhythm between each ear, yeah. I can see how it'd sound like popcorn, though I was definitely not expecting anyone to think of that... o_o

"Then the main synth has a chaotic rhythm that seems rather hard to keep up up with"
Yep. Thanks, Gross Beat. What I did there was had 4 different Gross Beat rhythms going, switching between each of them with automations every measure.

"The bass is smooth and sounds like an atmospheric piece being used to help build up the song."
Yep! :D That's exactly what it is. One absurdly massive pad used to back it up.

"looking forward to future works."
You got it! Already got another one in the RRC for that reason, and I'm planning to finish another one by next week.
