Awesome

Wow, this is actually a pretty awesome piece and I enjoyed it the moment it started to play right off the bat. The tempo is also in good measure.

The synths play a very good time and rhythm at the same time which pleases me a lot to hear them that way.

The retro sounds kind of make me think of xylophones and Super Mario at the same time which is an odd combination right?

The drum and bass are exceptional along with the many other sounds I hear in this fresh beat.

I kind of get a feel of being in an ice palace sitting at a chair. Suddenly someone tries to stab at me. I get out of the way in time. The battle commences and kicks and punches along with special attacks go flying.

Excellent work.

Haha, that's not exactly the imagery I was going for with this song, but it's definitely an interesting take :)

Thanks for the review! <3

Nice

Although the start kind of made me sad as it was very low in sound and then it just builds up to being an amazing piece of work that makes you wish to get up and clap and dance to this. I could also jump to this because it is pretty happy as well.

I can also see someone just doing some weird yet simple dance moves to this beat as well.

The synths and bass are actually quite nice and they provide the main beat and make it pretty great. The vocals are silly yet amazing as well. Did they come from Dance Dance Revolution or something else as I hear a crows cheering at how awesome this piece is.

The drums and vocals, along with the cheering crowd make this a very good and upbeat dance song to enjoy actually.

I have to say that overall you did an excellent job. Great piece of work. Looking forward to more!!!

lol thanksss im glad you like it, your opinion means alot to me :)

Pretty classy basic

I have to say the bass sounds the same as the one from your other one actually. The sudden sample drums and constant cymbal kind of make it better. However this song is not really to impressive aside from the change in the way the bass is done throughout the song as the beat marches on and forward.

However I do admit if the bass was turned down a notch I could enjoy the bass a whole lot more here. It is not perfect though.

Overall, change the bass and make it interesting.

Weird

Well I have to say this is a great song. However the vocals that you added make it feel weird to me. Then again the whole tune makes me feel kind of weird as if I could see memories I would much rather forget all over again for a lot of reasons or none at all.

The drums and synth make this really good as well so cool work there I suppose. The way the voice and bass come together give it the eerie effect to me as if you this house song was mostly meant to weird people out of their minds rather than enjoy it.

Overall, despite it being a bit creepy to me it still sounds good to me.

thanks for the review sorry for weirding you out

Excellent 8-)

My goodness is that an awesome beat you have going there. The voice and whole song is just freaking great dude. The vocals sound very grunge like and dark here which is what I was waiting for.

The guitar riff, bass, and your vocals combine and make a beautiful song for a sad world I think. The drums provide the back bone and make this song go really nice. Also you sound like the singer from Pantera which is even better here.

I just have to say that overall, you did a superb job here. Great work dude.

You know, when I was done with the album I thought that this ended up being the very best song of all of them. Afterwards I was having doubts if people liked this song at all because nobody said anything about it at first but now I'm starting to feel I was right about this.

The way I wrote the lyrics to this song was different from my usual methods. I usually write shit down no my cell phone when I get the inspiration but with this one, I was hitting rock bottom in my actual life so I was alone in my apartment and I got as drunk as possible on purpose and wrote down random thoughts that came to my mind. The morning after I collected the individual sentences and combined the best sentences in order to form a storyline. Usually I have the idea from the very start, so working that way was something else.

The Phil Anselmo comparison was pretty cool, that was a first! :D Pantera is awesome, but actually Down is a major influence and I love his vocals in Down, he sounds so confident and smooth and his rasp is awesome. I think they're making a new album this year, can't wait!

Reading this review made me feel pretty good. I know the people of Review Request Club don't give 10's away for nothing and I've been getting awesome reviews with all of my new songs so I think I'm slowly achieving something here. Let's say, a year ago I felt I was a dude who could make some music. Now I feel like an actual musician. It's a good feeling. Thanks for the review!

Very nice

Really like this better than the last one you had me review since the guitar was distorted. Also the way the guitar riff plays slightly reminds me of Lacquer Head by Primus except it was on bass instead.

You sound like that one band I hear on radio with this song as well. The guitar and bass make this song very much alive and awesome so great work there as well. The drums pump up the beat even more and make it so much better.

Overall, you did a great job and this is a very good grunge song so great work.

ShanZE responds:

It's good to hear that you enjoyed this song! Yeah this one is grunge in the more traditional sense, but IMO the song "Fuck Me" is grunge too, why couldn't grunge be acoustic O_O

I don't hear Lacquer Head there myself but I'll give you props for mentioning it, AntiPop is one of the best albums I own and obviously Les Claypool (and the rest of the band of course) is a fucking awesome dude.

I wonder what band you mean? Yeah I understand what you mean with "alive", this song sounds like it's breathing which is something I never managed to achieve before this album. I'm so happy you liked the drums, throughout the recording process of the whole album I was having a hard time with the drums 'cause I'm not a fan of drum machines but it also was my only option.

Thanks for the cool review!

Solid

I found this solid although there were a couple seconds of silence I started to recognize it as the song's buildup with a weird sounding bass that begins to pump life into the song as well.

The bass is where I am feeling the main area of the song. I also feel it is the backbone of this song which is good. Although some parts it begins a bit too sporadically but it is made up for with the other pieces at work here.

The claps and drums are very nice and pleasing on my ears so I was rather happy about those. Kind of invites you to just jump in and start clapping and dancing along to this song which is great.

The other sounds playing provide an overall great beat to this and just give you a chance to get up and dance. It is not really rock bottom but rather the tippy top.

Overall, great job here.

DjAbbic responds:

Thanks alot for the comments. This is still a WIP so I might look into the some parts beginning sporadically part, although it sounds quite good to me already :P.

The drums I put quite a bit of effort into, but I still haven't EQ'd the claps, so I should do that to make them sound better because at the moment, they're sounding a bit flat compared to the rest of the mix.

Also, I plan to tweak the leads as they seem a bit muffled to me right now, maybe it's the distortion I added to the bass.

Anyway, thank you alot for the review :) Appreciated as always

Really tight

I found this to be very good and speedy actually. Really enjoy how it is also a successful loop as well since once it starts to loop you can't really tell when it will end which is pretty awesome actually.

The synths, bass, and hyper fast drum beats make this sound very nice on the ears. I could totally see this being used in a very upbeat and speedy game like minigame or full game as it is just something that makes you say "wow". The chorus I hear also sounds nice.

Overall, this turned out quite well. Great work on this speedy loop.
