Tense

Kind of gives me a feeling of traveling among clouds really fast in an old video game which is pretty cool anyways as it gives a great rushing feel as the tune also feels slightly cheesy at times too. Really cool video game beat, would not mind seeing it used in a video game either.

The synth part is great and very bouncy. The ambient synth gives even more of a retro feel to it too. The bass is pretty thick and very nice on the ears in my opinion. The drums are also cool and I love how they change with the rhythm too. Very nice.

Overall, pretty sweet 8-bit song. I like it.

Zombies

Have no idea but parts of this remind me of the first Resident Evil game a lot since I recognize a few sounds here from songs in the original game too. The song kind of makes you feel like you need to be very cautious as you keep moving forward in the city now being over run by the zombies that simply want flesh.

Luckily you have modified your handguns with silencers so killing one will not garner you very much attention. As you walk by one street, you see your once best friend has become one of them feasting on the flesh of someone they recently chased down and ate.

You keep going forth hoping that you can escape the city before the night is over or simply hope this is all a bad dream. Having pinched yourself a few times you know this nightmare is real and indeed not just a bad dream at all. You keep pushing yourself to go forth, trying to find an exit to what feels like a doomed city wasteland.

The windy part of the song gives a feel of screams being carried through the air letting you know another person is dying. The ambient sounds hear give a feel of deep fear as you move along as well. The drums give the dynamic feel that there is terror behind every building and inside every building as well.

Overall, very well done song, almost sounds like something you would hear in a zombie horror survival game.

Wow! What a great review! You got all of that just from this tune? :) Nice! Thanks for taking time to review this tune. I am sure other listeners can relate with what you said.

Sad

Well this is a great piano piece I think since the piano illustrates so any different stories to choose from I think. The tune sounds somewhat sad as well which makes the story it depicts feel sad as well I think. Very beautiful composition though.

I can see someone struggling to make it through their own life as they wonder why people hate them. They walk to the park and sit high up in a tree away from everyone staring at the sun set through the leaves trying to figure out how all of this happened to them.

They begin to go back in time seeing how over time that his friends begin talking to him less and less and they never tell him why but after awhile he begins hanging with a few other people but rarely speaking anymore. He has so much anger built up inside and yet he feels it just sitting there trapped inside of him as he moves along with his life not caring any more of what others think about him either.

It soon shows him back at the tree as he sees the friends he once knew and talked to passing by him but they act like he isn't there even when he waves. He soon comes down and begins to walk off past them deciding they are no longer worth time and that he should look for better friends who won't simply abandon him by himself for no reason at all.

He walks out of the park and into the local town and simply walks around stores looking at many things. Some reminding him of friends, happier times, or just times he was simply happy by himself and walks past them just not feeling the joy of it all any more wondering how it came to this.

He walks out of the town and keeps walking for what feels like hours but is really only a few minutes as a passes into another part of town and sits on a bench outside of a boutique. He looks inside seeing things he would never wear there and walks inside.

He sees dresses, girlish pants and tops and just for a moment, a split second he wonders what the stuff would be like to wear and pulls out his wallet buying some of the clothing thee before walking to his home where only he lives with a few cats to keep him company.

He tries the stuff on and it feels strangely good making him feel happy and then puts the stuff away forgetting about as he goes to watch tv while the cats sit by him. He stares at the ceiling however still wondering, why do his friends no longer like him.

He turns on the tv and soon he puts it all out of his mind.

Overall, great song.

Wow, I'm happy that I can inspire such a story. Thanks for taking the time to write something so long.

Battle time

Heh, sounds like it would go well in a space type side scroller where you battle the final boss at this point. The tune is very well composed and sounds pretty much revved up and just being fired like a cannon of sorts as you race against time trying to beat the boss as quickly as possible.

The synth sounds really rapid and I like how when goes down it feels like another one picking up for it which is pretty neat to hear on this one. The starting air sound was nice too. The drums give a feeling of having to rush against time to complete the level as well. I like the aqua effect applied here as well.

Overall, not bad at all, does give a good feeling that you need to beat a boss.

Xyresic responds:

Thanks for the review! Not sure what you mean by "aqua" effect though :P

Glitched

Heh, reminds me of when my Pokemon Blue used to glitch and it would sound a bit like this since it was all glitchy suddenly. This seems to be a real interesting piece though since it sounds like it is just jumping all over the place with so many different things running through your head as the song plays as well. Just real interesting. Glitchcore maybe?

The synth is very nice on the ears and gives a feeling of something calm coming even though there is a lot of chaos surrounding the peaceful time coming ahead strangely. The synth just just seems to give a feeling of it all coming to be alright in the end.

The drums are really interesting here due to the very glitchy effect they seem to have here and all. Makes you think of a boss level in a video game I think where the song starts normal and breaks out into being very glitchy sounding as they battle keeps on going forward. Really love the glitchy drums.

The piano is another thing that helps you feel calm as the song runs along later in here as well I think. It gives a feeling of even though this is a hard battle, you can still overcome it. Also I think I hear a leitmotif going on here.

The vocals were nice but what were they saying before you broke them into glitch format?

Overall, very interesting and yet amazingly glitchy sounding song.

LLAAPPSSEE responds:

Great review, man! Thanks a shit-ton for your excellence.

The vox are saying "Keep on", "Don't stop", and I believe "riot".

Hilarious :D

Well this was quite humorous and fun to hear I think. It starts out so beautiful then ends chaotically with people screaming and what sounds like someone having an orgasm over all of this which makes it even funnier to hear.

The piano here is great. The drums and chaos at the end make this a timeless classical piece. Now available for everyone's birthday party. Be careful not to yell too loud. :D

Overall, hilarious and silly.

Jebbal responds:

It starts out beautiful? Hahahaha I never thought anybody would say that, but alright! You're right, though. What I've created here is a timeless classic. An icon in modern birthday-ism. That guy screaming at the end? He was actually impaled by a flying timpani mallet. The first guy that screamed was just horrified by the general catastrophe of this song, though.

Thanks for the review!

Hilarious

Very nice tribute and I love the back beat as well. This beat sounds awesome and the vocals are awesome. Who did the two voices? I like how the beat has a mix of rap and metal which is also awesome. Very awesome tribute. There can only be One Metallica... XD

rorychally responds:

Thanks! I feel as though I'm improving with making music in terms of equalization and mixing. Glad you like it. For the beat I wanted it to sound Metallica-like (Metallic haha) but because of the tempo it came out more like a rock-rap-hybrid. Yeah I did the voices also. It's quite flawed because this was done in one evening. Yes indeed :P

Nice

Well this certainly has a very nice sound to it I think which is cool. The tune makes me think of cats trying to find their way home and when they finally do they have to wait all night to come back in as they humans wake up and greet them overjoyed that they came back as they had worried about the cats and the cats love them in return as they go back inside what they call home.

The up and down space sound is really calming with the beeps added in there for good measure I think which is neat to hear. The drums sound really calm and also kind of make me think there is a fire being mixed into the beat as well too, nice. The synth is really nice.

Overall, this is a very nice sounding beat.

Halindir responds:

Thank you very much SCTE3 for you review.
I WILL DESTROY YOU!

So much...

BLUE!! Well it does remind me of another song this group did called Heaven which is also a good song but not as well known sadly. You did quite well here I think. Covers and comes close to the original very closely I think. Not too bad for a cover put in another genre, I like it, I like it a lot!!

The drums here are very well done and sound like the ones from the original I think. The synth makes me think of the vocalist singing while having the rhythm play at the same time too. The other synth helps plays the main beats with the chorus too. The bass is deep and awesome too.

Overall, so awesome!! /)^3^(\

coleknows responds:

Indeed :D

I think this is considered my second best remix even if it is short. I especially like the main chorus. Such an epic synth...

Anyways, onto original stuff unless i change my mind.

Cute

Well it seems to have a cute feeling atmosphere to it I think. I think you could finish it if you took time to work at your normal tempo then changed it to the new tempo here as well. The tune feels really fluffy and like something you would hear in a My Little Pony game as well.

The synth sounds very happy feeling here I think. The drums are cool and I like where you had double bass moments as well. Like how the second piano kind of feels like a bass line here.

Overall, not too bad, sounds like an extended mix of the song itself which is pretty cool I think.

coleknows responds:

Meh, true but it is really hard to be creative with this. I am usually terrible with upbeat songs anyway.

I will still consider remaking this but much later. I don't feel like it now.
