This is a pretty twisted and nice guitar solo to listen to. The only real problem I am hearing is a couple of really high notes near the start of the song, not sure if you did that intentionally or accidentally.

gamejunkie responds:

Thanks SCTE3. Every note is played as intended. Including the high notes. This track along with a couple of others were thought up and recorded within an hour. Now you can see it's called 'Lettin' Loose' for a reason. Because we were just playing around and letting loose. Another much appreciated review.

Cheers gj.

Really like this little loop, can see two people riding on horses through an endless desert as they go somewhere. I can hear a slight bass in the background which I like a lot since it makes this song sound much more alive than just having a guitar playing alone. The guitar itself sounds good as usual.

gamejunkie responds:

Thanks SCTE3. I guess what we done here was effective then, because after we made this, we named it because we felt it sounded like something from a modern day cowboy movie, hence the title, 'Ridin' Hard'. Well picked up on. It's like you're in my head. LOL. Get out. Only thing you got wrong here, no bass. Just a single guitar being played. Thanks again for another great review.

Another nice sounding piece. I feel this can be extended and worked upon by adding bass, drums, and some lyrics for the vocalists to sing. The guitar sounds rather relaxing with the notes lingering. Kind of reminds of Gemini from Guitar Hero 2 as well. Good work here again.

gamejunkie responds:

Thank you once again SCTE3. It's always a pleasure to read your reviews. Too short for D & B & Lyrics. Was intended for use as a short tune for a preloader or something similar. Maybe to use as a game or movie opening track.

Cheers gamejunkie.

Another really nice little song. The song does have that fighting scene tone to it too. As for who the two people fighting are, no idea but I can imagine them both being in a bar while doing it. Great job playing as usual.

gamejunkie responds:

Thanks SCTE3. Came up with this one in about 30 minutes from inception to recording. Really has a cool barroom brawl feel to it I think. It fits in well with the Stick Fight made by RickyElectroniMaster. I think he really done the track justice in his flash. Thanks again for the great review.

The guitar sounds very relaxing. Sounds a lot like something you would watch at a live show. The guitarist is getting to chill out and jam on the guitar while the rest of the band takes a bathroom break for some reason. Once again, very nice guitar playing and it sounds like there were no effects used on the amp either.

gamejunkie responds:

Thanks again SCTE3. I never thought of this as a bathroom break kind of track but you're dead right, it really does have that feel to it. LOL. Someone elses perspective really does make you think about what you've played. No effects at all on this track, just good guitar playing.

Cheer gamejunkie.

The playing here seems good. Kind of makes me think of the Power Rangers.

gamejunkie responds:

Thanks SCTE3. Go, go indeed. Short, sweet and simple. Gets the job done.

Cheers gj.

This sounds rather enjoyable and very simple for a guitar only song. Really like how it plays around with the Hendrix songs. Add some backing bass and a light drum track to the song and it would be good to go I think.

Overall, nice little short piece.

gamejunkie responds:

Thanks SCTE3. Another great review, much appreciated. Nice to see you figured out that the title, 'Tribute', does indeed represent a tribute to the great Jimi Hendrix. This is one of my favourite tracks and I feel it does justice to Hendrix. Some of these songs are purely guitar for a reason, hence no drum or bass.

Cheers gamejunkie.

This one actually is rather quirky yet relaxing at the same time and hearing this recording was done long ago is rather impressive seeing the recording survived this long. At the start it sounds like someone hitting something a lot on the drums aside from the pedals, probably from how loud they are kicking the drums.

Also heard near the start is what seems to be that thing on the back of doors that when hit makes a loud twanging reverb sound. Like how the vocals near the start sound a little orgasmic making the jam kind of funny actually.

The guitar part is really sweet on the ears and around 2:30 the guitar tune slightly makes me think of "Battle with the Masked Man" from Mother 3, strange how two different songs can sound so similar sometimes.

Around 3:20 the tune slightly reminds me of Barracuda for some reason yet slower and a different build on the rhythm. Really nice little solo too. The bass groove makes that part sound really good. What kind of bass guitar was being used?

Around 6:35 another slight solo and then no guitar for a moment. Kind of sounds like I am hearing water for a moment.

At 7:30, actually like that clicking sound, makes me think of a cowbell. Then the drums kick back into full rhythm while the guitar also slowly comes back in with a mellow tune that just sounds all around relaxing.

At 8:50 the drum beat sounds pretty awesome and the bass rhythm sounds familiar to another song but I can't quite come to what the name of the song is. Then around 11:00 the guitar picks up a really quickening pace that switches between some long held notes and some fast strumming which is enjoyable.

At 12:10, kind of sounds like the vocalist was saying "shh" and then the random "haaaa". Really liked the drum solo since it seemed to have a tribal sound to it.

Then the final minute is just a slow down and grind as the song ends.

Overall, very interesting and nice to hear jam session.

gamejunkie responds:

Thanks SCTE3 awesome review once again. What kind of bass guitar you ask? Made far too long ago now to remember, I will ask one of the guys, see if they remember.

Cheers gamejunkie.

Very short piece but has that effect of making you feel like you are watching the opening to a show and getting introduced to the characters of the story.

The violin gives a nice tender feeling to the song showing that the song is meant for a lighthearted fairy tale styled story or show. Then the drums and flute give the song a bubbly feel to the song. Really sounds nice.

Overall, very lighthearted and good sounding intro piece.

Thanks for the review, SCTE3. :)

I really wanted to capture that feeling of a happy fairy-tale in this piece and I'm glad it at least worked out for you. :D

Song has a really nice rhythm and I liked the dynamic drum sound near the start too. Song seems to have a feeling as if telling a story of someone waking up and getting ready for some kind of fun party later in the afternoon or during the night.

The buzzing breathing like sound kind of makes the song sound as if it were alive as the person went about their day having a great time getting ready for the party. Really nice sound for a song like this.

Really like the deep funky and fun bass line added making me think the person is just dancing at random times during the day for no reason other than just having a good day since waking up. What kind of bass is being used anyways?

The drums are good and the way they seem to trade off with the main rhythm and then quick triplet to quad hits on snares and hi hats is really nice sounding.

Getting a bit later into the song, like the slow build up of backup sounds and the new synth creating a nice plucked beeping sound that makes the song even more feel good. The deep sounding noises make me think of Daft Punk a bit for this song too. Greatly done rhythm for the song.

Overall, very much an enjoyable song that makes you just feel relaxed while listening to the song and enjoying the day. Great work!!

Thanks for your review, I'm sorry I haven't responded yet.

I really like your idea of the song having a story to tell, I couldn't had put it better myself. I appreaciate the feedback on the bass and the drums as they are some parts I worked alot on. I like how you're saying you feel relaxed when listening to it, thanks alot man.
