Has a nice older sound to it. Makes me think of this being the actual opening to the game. Song has a sound to it as if starting an adventure yet being very relaxed at the same time to simply leave home and start your own adventure.

The guitar has a distorted sound to it that makes me think of some playing it a bit badly on purpose just to play it badly. The synth has a vocal sound to it that makes me think that Link is incredibly relaxed to begin his journey.

Overall, messy sounding guitars but gives it a neat feel.

It's not guitar, it's saz. It isn't distorted either, saz has three strings in it's main course and you must just not be used to this sound.

Song sounds really clean and very relaxing to listen to. At times the bass sounds a bit quirky yet still very nice on the ears.

The bass has a pump sound to it as it starts in and then fades away really quickly, kind of like ocean waves too. The synth carries a nice rhythm and makes me think of a slowed down synth rhythm similar to Popcorn. Maybe some inspiration from there for the synth? Really like the backward static sound that picks up in the song too and then fades down very fast.

The atmosphere of the song seems to be just being at home, having headphones on and relaxing. The drums sound great.

Overall, nice work on this song.

The song sounds rather interesting on the ears. I am guessing the slight use of vocals are the vocals that are from the original version of this song that MichaelRJohnson did. Always wondered how people like you do those vocal splices yet remain to make them sound professional.

The guitar being used sounds pretty awesome and nothing wrong with that. The vocals have a dreamy sound to them and very nice. The drums have a simplistic rhythm to them that makes me think of a garage or home made drum kit made using various objects and a bass drum.

While this is a dubstep song it is goes lightly on the dubstep giving it a clean sound.

Overall, nice work.

Thanks a lot, glad you guys got to this one! The Vocals were sent to me directly from him, they were just vocals nothing more, but before he sent them to me i had already started on the song so i used some of the original song vocals it was weird. Thanks for the review!

The loud pounding synth that gets the song started seems to have a slight buzzing sound in the background and makes me think of an old platformer game where you were traversing a stage late into the game getting closer to the end.

The rising sound, I wonder what effect you used? It sounds like one of the effects I know of only heavily distorted for a more electronic sound to it. Then the bass is very light in the background, maybe lower the volume of the main synth a bit if you are wanting to hear the bass a little better. Then the pounding sound of the drums is pretty nice and goes great with the rhythm. The rim shots are mellow too.

Overall, great song, little loud on the synth part but aside from that, great job.

The beat slightly makes me think of The Prodigy at the start. Then the rest of the song makes me think of F-Zero GX music for when you are racing against others.

The synth guitar is a pretty nice touch to the song and makes it sound futuristic. The bass line remains simple and very loud and pumped the whole time. The trumpets sound pretty good and make me think of the Runaway Five from Earthbound at the same time. The drums lastly have a good beat to them that sounds a lot like a real drum kit.

I like the ping pong effect that the synth carries at times and the synth solo wasn't a bad touch either.

Overall, great song for racing.

Really nice, slow, and mellow remix of an already great song. I really do get the feeling of being in the Everfree Forest and being entirely curious as to why I am there or what is lurking behind the next tree or bush I pass as I move along.

The drums here sound incredible although for this kind of track, I imagine adding in another kick so that you have more than one kick going off. The hi hats and snares sound great too.

The bass has a cutting sound to as it starts and then slowly cuts away just as fast as it came.

As for the leading synth I really like the reverb that occurs after each note giving that sound and feel as if something was following you around int he forest but you don't want to look and you want to get out of there.

Like how later in there is the buildup and then the song kicks into full overdrive as you start to trot or run out of the forest as fast possible.

Overall, excellent remix of your older song.

AHHHHHH! SOMEONE FINALLY GETS WHY I GAVE IT THIS KIND OF PACE! :D

Yeah, in the parts where the chorus arrived it was suppose to similate running and at the last chorus, imagine seeing all these terryifying creatures chasing you, not knowing what the hell they are or what they want with you.

Man.....i love this song soooo much :D

Really get a feeling of someone who has lost their mind and walking on the street a little bit disoriented and as the loop ends they fall over and pass out. Really odd sounding pattern but it adds more to that feeling of madness and being disoriented.

gamejunkie responds:

Thanks SCTE3. Your really scaring me now. Get out of my head. When we finished this track and were deciding what to call it. I came up with 'Slow Madness' because I said I thought it sounded like some poor bastard was slowly descending into a state of madness. I love that you can appreciate all types of music. It makes you a great reviewer if you ask me. You seem to have a great insight into the feeling we are trying to get across to people. Thanks heaps.

Cheers gamejunkie.

This is a pretty twisted and nice guitar solo to listen to. The only real problem I am hearing is a couple of really high notes near the start of the song, not sure if you did that intentionally or accidentally.

gamejunkie responds:

Thanks SCTE3. Every note is played as intended. Including the high notes. This track along with a couple of others were thought up and recorded within an hour. Now you can see it's called 'Lettin' Loose' for a reason. Because we were just playing around and letting loose. Another much appreciated review.

Cheers gj.
