Softer still

I enjoy how soft this piece was. Mostly just a piano with a bass line and a violin acting as a back bone to the song which seems decent anyways. The flow of the beat kind of just makes you feel a bit sad yet relaxed anyways.

The piano acts as the main piece and subtly draws you in while helping you relax at the same time. Then the violin and chorus make you feel captivated into feeling a bit sadder. Then the bass line cancels all else out and kind of makes you feel relaxed which is good anyways.

Overall, a soothing tone and beat.

Hooray, this song was finally reviewed! haha

I like your review, although I'd like to point out you missed an instrument. There's a harp that starts at 1:53 (although it does sound a bit like a piano, heh).

Thanks for listening and reviewing! :D

Pretty decent

The guitar intro was actually pretty nice for fast picking. Then you added in drums and changed up the guitar riff altogether to play a more steady main beat kind of like a few bands I have not heard of in a long while anyways which is cool anyways. The bass line here was spectacular and simple.

Around 1:08 the beat got pretty awesome with yet another quick change up on the drums and then a new guitar riff that sounds similar is added back in. The bass line for the tune stays pretty simple anyways so that was better than what I expected. Enjoyed the main beat at 2:04 which sounded pretty wicked anyways.

At 2:38 the little guitar solo sounded very soft yet really good and then it gallops back to the main riff with some still sick sounding beats. Just wondering, do you all plan to add any vocals to the songs or what? Around 4:09 it starts a very long descent to the end with really low and long going notes before changing up to a new guitar riff and tune beat that continues on for a bit and sounds pretty wicked.

Then for the rest of the song you have really nice going stuff happening.

Overall, this was a great yet long piece!!

Thanks for the great review. :D
And yeah, I plan on adding vocals to every one of my songs. Just not my own.
I'm looking for (a) vocalist(s) to do the vocals for all or some of my songs.
Either I'll find someone who can scream and sing and have him do all of my songs, or I'll feature different vocalists in each of my songs. :P

Paper Mario

Reminds me of Fort Outpost from the second Paper Mario game with all the Bob-Ombs living in the arctic land of freezing cold, ironically they could still light themselves up to explode.

The bass line used here really sounds like it came from an old video game actually so that worked out well to you. The drums sound simple yet pleasing so good. The xylophone and synth seem to work together to try completing each other which seems to be pretty nice this time around.

When the full beat comes around it sounds like a very Sonic or Mario ice level beat which sounds pretty great.

Overall, great arctic beat. Also makes me think of Kingdom Hearts a bit.

MeteorManMike responds:

Had to look up the music, but yeah, I can sort of hear a similarity.
I was trying for something light yet minor, giving a sense of freezing cold instead of a pleasant sleigh ride.
I like that you mention Sonic and Mario, I could maybe see this working for a flash.
Thanks for the review!

Cool

Sounds like something I would listen to on a jungle fighting stage in a fighting game of some sort actually. Pretty cool anyways with the whole rhythm you got going on and everything. Kind of makes me think of the Dead or Alive series which is hard yet fun as always.

The drums and twisting sounds I hear are nicely done here. The tune is also an almost perfect loop as well. The cymbal rides are cool. The synth used here provides that really weird yet cool feel as if one was playing Sonic the Hedgehog which is also a fun game series.

Overall, creative jungle beat.

Thank you very much once again for the review. I was actually just messing around the FL library for fun and this piece just came out of that moment. :) Didn't really expect a decent 8 stars right away. Thanks a lot.

Peaceful

This gives away that feeling of piece as if nothing was going to be bad for a long while and that you had just beaten an army, game or whatever else that you could possibly win at peacefully without angering many. Also sounds like it could be the finale to an RPG-esque styled game as well so that is pretty sweet.

The drums and cymbals sound great together as a combination. The bells sounded pretty nice and I enjoyed how they sounded. The piano was peaceful and I enjoyed the soft medley of love and squalor that it seems to deliver to the viewer so that was nice. Also kind of makes me think of My Little Pony a bit, how weird.

Overall, an epic finale piece.

Space, a kittens dream

Kind of got a funny image of a cat roaming in space on this one as it travels to and back on a super keyboard of some kind without the need of oxygen. The cat soon becomes a deity to some cultures and tries to help those that need its help everywhere in the galaxy. Awesome I suppose.

The synths here were great. The one carries a steady beat while the other carries a chaotic space feel to it that also slightly sounds a bit like some kind of drone. The bass line was pretty easy on the ears anyways. Then the drum lines sounded cool with some of the quick drum fills that were played here.

Overall, you did a great techno beat. It sounds awesome, also kittens.

EricFreeman responds:

lmfao, you get the craziest visuals from my song :P Although, I'm not gonna lie, a music video to this song featuring kittens flying around space on keyboards would be pretty sweet.

Thanks for listening and reviewing! <3

Bizarre

Well this certainly was bizarre sounding to me in a very good way. The beat was awesome but what is with the british voices? Or is that your band singing to this strange tune?

The synth sounds pretty intense as if you were entering a boss battle. The chorus effect was actually a nice little touch here so that was cool. The bass line was very very light but alright I think. The drums sounded spectacular and I enjoyed how they sounded here.

The voices were actually kind of gibberish to me sadly but I won't take away points for it because I am sure other listeners can understand what is going on here where I can't. The whole beat coming together sounded pretty slick and awesome so great job there.

Overall, crazy tune!!

SoulSecure responds:

Heyyy, it's you again! The British people are all me, ha! It doesn't usually happen any more but my accent used to change all the time, randomly. I never knew why but sometimes I'd have a southern PA accent (sounds a bit like a western/southern accent but less annoying), other times I'd have varying English accents and every time I'd switch to these accents I wouldn't notice until I became self aware or someone told me. The reason the accent in the song is British is because when I yell like that (an example being the vocals that are at the beginning) I usually can't help but do an English accent, therefore I did the whole song this way.

The bass synth I used here was a moog and it naturally sounded kind of sub bassy. I'd rather it be louder but I'll come to fix it when I do. You can hear it better on a stereo system.

Thanks for the review!

Good piece

Makes me think a lot of the festival at the start of Crono Trigger actually which was also a fun yet challenging old school RPG game. This tune just reminds me of how much fun it was. I would sit there for a few hours and fight Gato until I was around level 7 even though it took forever.

The bass line sounds very cheery and fun here. The drums also sound great and classy too. The last instrument which I shall guess is a keyboard sounds very great here. The tune just makes you think of carnivals.

Overall, great carnival loop.

camoshark responds:

Lol, it's funny as each time you review one of my songs you associate it with a game, furthermore a game wich I have never played!

Anyways, for the review, I can't see another wayto visualise this as being used in a carnival, so I guess we're on the same line of thoughts.

And yes BTW, it's a keyboard, stupid MIDI files make it really hard to differenciate.

Thanks for the review!

Eerie yet cool

I like how the voice sounds very broken up before the scream comes in and keeps saying ROIDS constantly. Sounds a bit like the Hulk as well. The constant screams though also remind me of the fatalities from the Mortal Kombat series too.

The wub and wobbles sound pretty basic yet cool here. Then you got the wacky drum playing along with a chill base line that makes you feel even weirder as well. The synth playing calms the tune a bit but not much.

Overall, crazy and erratic, yay.

Sounds great

Really enjoy it started out as a soft rock type of song with the guitars playing different beats. One plays the huge long notes while the other plays the small notes. Then you added in the chime which sounds kind of like a door being opening to a store in the 50s or something close to it. Really like how ambient the drums sound as well. Then the bass line comes in soft as well.

The beat as a whole just sounds pretty soft and relaxing.

Overall, calm.
