Sounds like pirates

Sounds like a really simple pirate game ending or intro song to me which is alright I think. Sounds really nice and soft which is somewhat helpful if you're trying to calm down or get new ideas in your own head.

Accordion: First time I've heard one of those in awhile. It keeps its own simple beat the whole time which is nice. Pretty much like a small loop if you might say.

Flute: Makes it sound really soft and classic in this. I see how you make the most of all the high and low ranges with it. Pretty nice.

Bass guitar: I hear a bass guitar sound here and there in this but not really audible for t he most part. It sounds very nice anyways.

Overall: Can't really improve this in one way or another, sounds pretty nice the way it is.

Hard boss

This sounds like a piece that would be used if you encountered a really hard boss in a game or be used in an area right before you face the boss that is powerful or whatever, very nice little beat anyways.

Guitar: Very simple riff, not too bad either, could have been a little heavier though towards the end.

Bass: Enjoy how it sounds just as if it were only about two or three notes that repeat itself.

Drums: Sounds extremely simple too me, no improving needed.

Piano: Makes it sound a bit more sinister to me, nice work there.

Overall: No need to improve this piece in my opinion, nice job here.

I really appreciate your opinion :-)

Loops

This could have been a lot better if you ask me. Also could have cut it off after twenty-five seconds since it's the same sound through out the whole entire loop or song, whichever you prefer to call it.

Piano: Just sounds simplistic and easy to me.

Space sounds: Kind of just repeats itself over and over.

Overall: Don't know how to really improve this, it could be shortened though.

I'll agree to this track as being stale, but I was just imagining a very minimal ambient track in my head.

Spacey

This is one amazing piece and I enjoy how it sounds all the way here, very nice piece of work you did here. Sounds amazing as it progresses as well.

Piano: Sounds nice, really great how it didn't end up looping itself or repeating, very nice job in that area, sounds amazing as well.

Drums: Really enjoy the simple drum riff you inserted here, it kind of got confusing at one part but aside from that it sounds very nice. Really enjoy that feeling it gives off.

Guitar: Sounds pretty cool, it has a pretty kickin' riff to it as it sounds, very nice, could have had a simple soft solo towards the very end of it, aside from that it's very good.

Overall: This is an incredibly amazing piece, liked what you did with it.

Nirvana feeling

Kind of has a feel of an almost acoustic Nirvana song, very nice and it needs no words to describe it, very nice how you let the music tell the story here.

Guitar: Sounds excellent, enjoy how it's a soft acoustic feeling type here, just gives a feel that one needs to relax and calm down before doing anything else. Very nice there.

Piano: It sounds slightly like there's a piano in the background playing the part of the bass, sounds extremely soothing and calm there, really enjoyed that.

Overall: No improvements are needed, I really happened to enjoy this piece, nice job.

Nice battle music

Makes me think of the retro Final Fantasy games, they tended to do this kind of music right before you entered a dramatic or epic battle or right before you had to fight the final boss in a game. Very nice work here.

Piano: Sounds awesome and sinister, very nice detail there.

Drums: Sounds pretty cool. Enjoy how it does some fast hits then pauses for a moment then goes back to being hit a lot really fast and in segments.

Violin: Sounds pretty classy and soothing, really enjoyed how that turned out.

Overall: No real need to improve here, very nice job on this.

Classy game music

Reminds me of a game called Mechwarrior I used to play on the SNES, good memories although some levels had a dark feel to them. This tune brings back memories.

Drums: Sounds very complexing and simple at times, sounds very insane and crazy as it blends into the beats of the song, very nice job there.

Piano: Sounds pretty cool, is that where the spacey sounds come from as well since it sounds pretty cool as well.

Bass: Sounds like a bass guitar and that's pretty cool to me, very sweet and soothing within the song it is.

Overall: No need to improve this piece, very nice piece of work.

Thnx man! This fun was very fun to make too. The spacey sound you're thinking of is probably my distorted piano---it was supposed to sound like an electric guitar =P (i didn't have any good electric guitar VSTs)
Yea, I really liked the drums and beat. I think the delay on the drum kit made everything a lot better.
Well, I'm really glad you liked my song and thnx again for the review!

Great piece

This kind of has a Zelda feel like at the start of the game or an area with a real saddening feel to it, I enjoy that a lot.

Cello: Sounds a little saddening but it's what brought the piece together is what I think. Very soft feeling there.

String: Sounds a little like a xylophone? A very light xylophone anyway, sounds nice and soothing.

Harp: I enjoy how this part just simply loops over itself like most of the rest of the song but it's so faint and light that it just blends into the rest of the song.

Vibraphone: TO be honest I have no idea what that is...

Oboe: Sounds nice hear and near the end makes it feel more compelling and complex, nice work there.

Overall: No real improvements needed, very nice piece of classic music.

Cimba responds:

I think the thing that you are refering to as a xylophone is the vibraphone

Ehh, needs major improvements

I must say, this needs major work and you possibly need a new mic and mixing system so the voice doesn't sound so distant as well. Also I just really hear the first sound a lot from the first 3 seconds, the rest isn't all that audible.

Voice/lyrics: Kind of doesn't make all that much since and I'd suggest a new microphone before making another song since at one or two points it kind of gets way too loud and scratchy and pop sounding. Change this up.

Ahh sound: I hear that a lot and it's pretty much one of the audible pieces here that sounds pretty good to me which is nice but I don't think that's the sound you were wishing to be heard overall eh?

Drum 'n' bass: Sounds pretty good and a simple beat but not audible enough to be heard well.

Scratch sound: Nice touch although you'd have to turn this up a bit to hear it when it enters the song at different intervals.

Overall: Get a new sound and mixing system so it's easier to hear. If you decide to resubmit a better version of this it'd be nice if you left this one up so people can do a side by side comparison and see if there s till needs to be any changes.

Good luck on future pieces.
