This was a very enjoyable medley since I used to play the Legend of Zelda games a lot. Really sweet how the medley flows from one tune to another as if it was all just one long tune that you could play on the ocarina in the game.

The bass sound was excellent and very enjoyable and how it seemed to give a feeling of happiness. Liked how for a majority of the song it was a long lingering note and at times it moved to being a little faster to play along side the other instruments of the song. The violin has a calm yet soothing sound to it. The atmosphere of this piece just seems to be set on going after pieces of the Triforce. The flute also sounds really nice to listen to as well.

Overall, this is an excellent medley of tunes from the Legend of Zelda games. Wonderful work here.

thank you sc! the official zelda fan of the RRC lol

The song is pretty weird and just an overall quirky tone to it. One thing I would really recommend changing up are the drums since they do not seem to fit the song at the start and they slowly begin to fit bit by bit as the song goes along. This song just sounds really strange to me.

The synth has an up and down tone then just a slightly relaxed tone for when no other sound is heard except a metronome like sound that can be heard in the background at times. Later into the song the drums seem to fit rather well which is good and much better than it was in the intro.

Once the bells stop playing in the intro for the most part it sounds a lot better to me and then replacing them with a lighter sounding bell is good since it does not try to overpower the other instruments used in the song.

Overall, quirky tune.

I know right. The beginning drums were more of a "mental mistake" because I let myself fit into the drum pattern. :P Got to change that soon.

Thanks for the review.

This song sounds rather cool and sounds like it would go great for underwater or frozen landscape level on a Gameboy game of some kind. Has an adventurous sound to it.

I hear a main synth and it actually works well with a slight echo sound where it sounds like it is bouncing off the walls. Then the secondary synth seems to make me think of someone walking around or swimming trying to get to the end of the level and move on to the next level. The bass sounds really simple and the up and down rhythm is soft.

Really just enjoy how the song has an adventure sound to it.

Overall, this song just sounds great.

Thanks for the review! I always enjoy hearing about what my music makes you think of.

This song sounds really nice and reminds me of some sewer or dream levels from really old Gameboy games. The song just seems to make you think you are fighting nightmarish creatures in the level as you must beat them to get back to sleep. Very beautifully done song and sounds great.

The synth sounds nice and has a solid up and down motion for it which is very nice. The secondary synth has a feel of an atmosphere coming at you and then just fading away as you keep on going farther and farther into the level. The bass sounds great and I enjoy the solid riff it has going.

Overall, very wonderful song, I like it a lot.

Thanks for the review, I'm really glad you enjoyed it!

I found this to be a wonderful song. Kind of has a creepy castle atmosphere to it as if the castle was mystical and had been unexplored for many many years. Very nice song to hear.

The piano has a nice flow to it and kind of has that feeling like something was looking over your shoulders in the castle. The xylophone is also really nice and lightly played. I also hear a very light backing bass in the background which sounds pretty good when added to this beat. Then there is a light synth feel behind the xylophone at times. The chorus is very beautiful to hear as well. The drums sound great and I like the sound. The synth heard has an old school 16-bit feel to it.

Overall, very nice song, sounds great!

Back-From-Purgatory responds:

Actually, there's no bass in this song, what you're hearing is the piano as it hits the lower registers (The left hand part is played pretty much in the lowest octave you can reach on a full 88key keyboard).

Glad you like it though.

Well this was a very comedic approach to Irish music and I like how the title simply refers to lady hands that are large, this song just ends out being completely hilarious.

The guitar playing is smooth and sounds really great too. The vocals are nice and then when the group comes in it sounds a little louder than it should since there is a hint of static heard. The lyrics are were nice and funny though so that was rather enjoyable too. Hilarious how it ends with him still liking large lady hands too.

Overall, hilariously good song.

THANKS BRO

Song sounds like something that could be used for a starting adventure level or near the end of the game where you are given a level to relax on for a bit before continuing on to the end of the game. Very nice song!

The synth sounds a little like a organ to me but with no large reverb or echo applied to keep it as clean and smooth sounding as possible. The drums have a simple feel and I like how fast it sounds at the same time. The other synth sounds nice and I like the up and down feel it gives, can kind of picture someone's mouth but with it being spliced to go up and down in notes.

Overall, very smooth, clean, and fun sounding beat.

Daydream-Anatomy responds:

Thanks^^

The song has a very playful tone to it and gives that feeling of adventure too as in not knowing what will happen but it shall still be fun to go roaming from place to place and meeting new people all the time while training for battles too. Very fun sounding song.

The drums have a nice light feel to them with just tom, snare, and bass kicks which all sound rather nice when put together too. The violin sounds rather soft yet gives the lingering effect of never knowing what shall be happening next on the adventure. The harp sounds... rather pretty actually as if watching something fun unfold before your eyes.

The pipe and whistle both sound really nice. That and I keep thinking I am hearing a xylophone but not quite sure, it sounds very nice though and I like the rhythm of it.

Overall, very pretty song.

Wurfel-Waffles responds:

Thanks. And also yes there is xylophone sample. I think the rhythm is pretty much what makes this whole piece becomes unique. I guess the magic trick is depending on the harp.

Harp is a special instrument. Doesn't matter what theme you are using, it would eventually make the listeners familiar with the theme immediately. Harp goes well with cello pizzicato, nylon-string guitar and xylophone/vibraphone.

Thanks for the detailed reviews, SCTE3. :)

I think I hear what the problem is. You need to work on the bass for this song. Take off limiter if you have it on since the bass completely overpowers everything else here and then lower the volume on it a bit and it should sound just fine.

The violin here sounds very calming and relaxing to hear. Drums have a nice tribal rhythm to them and give that imagery of people actually playing on live drums at a performance and simply enjoying the party being thrown there.

I like around the two minute mark where the violin gets a lot louder and it sounds incredibly nice with the piano playing in the back which strangely has a bit of a lingering bass note I hear from the when the piano starts.

Overall, the volume of the bass needs to be lowered, that should help a lot.

Blackmajiick responds:

Yeah, I thought that was a problem, too. :/ Unfortunately I'll never be able to fix it since I'm using the demo version of Fruity Loops. I'm actually considering deleting this since I'm not too happy with it either.

I hate it when this happens. Something will sound okay at first, but then, later, I hear everything that's wrong with it.

However, I'll keep everything you've said in mind in the future Thanks for the review and for the advice; I appreciate it :D

Well the beat was interesting.

The starting makes you think it will be something else then for the most part the vocals are slice and repeat for a pretty weird and creative sounding song. The drums sound smooth and have a nice solid rhythm, is that rim hits I hear too?

The synth sounds pretty nice and very light behind the bass beat which is just pumping here. Very weird sounding song though but would make for some very interesting level music where you fell down and hit your head and end up in a bizarre dream.

Overall, very weird yet good song.

Thank you for your review. I am glad that you enjoyed my bizarre music. I like to name my songs after how I feel the song means. It made me think I need meds lol.
