The rhythm is rather simple.

However, I notice a real issue is the reverb seems to make the whole track feel off. I realize it is more or less to help boost up the bass notes but it still feels like it just throws this whole track off.

The main rhythm is interesting. It fluctuates between tight quick notes and longer notes. The track would be a lot better if the notes were long note the whole way with very few to no shorter notes to give a much more ambient feel to the song.

The tune sounds like it would be better if it had a drum track playing behind it, as in a drum pattern usually hear in most ambient tracks. Might move the genre a bit elsewhere but would make it better I think.

Overall, interesting, just practice and you should be better in time.

Well, I can tell that it is a live recording at least. The only real suggestion as far as excess noise cancelling goes is to make a Noise Profile in Audacity. What you do is you want to make sure there is at least little to no sound when you have your microphone on in your room or wherever you are recording. It records for three seconds, then this can be used to filter out any excess sounds for the most part from your recordings. Hope that helps you there. If you decide you want to try getting better with audio as well (not saying you're bad, but if you decide to expand and make songs with more instruments) then feel free to check the audio forum, lots of helpful users there.

The recording itself is well done. How long did you spend learning to play this piece before being able to play it all as one smooth song? The only other problem I found with this song aside from the occasional excess background sounds is it sounds like you may pressing a key or two a bit too hard at times.

Overall, aside from some slight excess sound, this piano cover is pretty decent. Best of luck on future pieces.

I think if this was extended by exactly one second it would be a perfect loop. The reason I say to extend it by a second is to prevent the cut off at the last second. Other than that, not much to improve on here.

The guitar synth sounds beautiful. However I would recommend removing that random synth not as it throws off the entire beat of the song. In its place I would add a simple and soft drum beat to give the song something dynamic as a back beat.

The secondary airy sounding synth is very nice to hear but it suddenly cuts at the end of the loop which ruins it for me too.

Overall, for a short loop I would recommend removing that random synth note, adding a soft drum rhythm, and making this longer.

This loop is way too chaotic for me to even consider it as the intro to a boss room. However if it were lowered down to around five seconds instead of the thirty eight seconds this would be much better. The sounds clash way too much, not too mention the sounds go back and forth from ear to ear in an annoying manner.

For drums, I would recommend trying to go with one simple drum rhythm and sticking with it for the entirety of the loop. The metal sound going from one ear to the other and back is also too chaotic and would likely do better if you had used Gross Beat on it where it would fade over time instead of being at the same volume the whole time.

Adding reverb to the drum was not a good idea in this situation. Then there appears to be no bass rhythm to possibly cancel out the chaotic tune.

Overall, I would recommend heading over to the audio forum and learning more on how to construct rhythms for the future. Good luck in future songs.

The tune is very relaxing. It also reminds me of some of the tunes from Earthbound which were for taking a break or trying to relax and enjoy the game itself. I could see this song being used for an ending cutscene or midway through the game after something terrible happened and yet the heroes are refusing to give up and are going to keep going on their quest to stop the antagonists.

The drums are slow and sound rather tribal in rhythm. The brass instruments make me think of relaxing times. The violin (correct, yes?) is really smooth sounding. As for the entire rhythm coming together it creates a beautiful rhythm.

Overall, sounds fantastic and I can't think of any ways for this track to be improved.

The intro sounds quite silent and gives more of an ambient feel. The bass also helps give that feel. Sounds like when the bass started there was a low filtering for it before the bass got really smoothed out.

At 0:45 I noticed the bass kicked in before the drums and main rhythm. Sounds a bit off to me. I would recommend moving the bass start to when the drums start so it won't sound messy when beginning.

The constant bass kicks combined with the bass rhythm reminded me of Gabberstag by Renard too. So I assume that style of music is called Gabber overall then right? Sounds like something to get people pumped up to.

The main synth rhythm was good. However, I feel a general change in rhythm from time to time would have been nice. Such as increasing or decreasing for a bit in notes.

Around 3:09 I begin to hear the synth picking up and having a nice powerful sound to it. Almost as if restarting the whole song or party and getting more people to join in on the fun. Then the secondary synth comes back and sounds quite smooth and nice.

The rest of the song sounded very smooth.

Overall, very interesting.

Haelo there.

1) I don't remember having a bass with a low pass filter in this track...?
2) That's...not the bass. It's the same saw that's used for the melody. But yeah, should probably move it back a bit.
3) Constant bass kicks + little to no chord progression (essentially relying on the melodies) is Gabber (I think). And of course, I can't live without overused 4-chord progs adfjysiufg
4) Agreed.

No comment for points 5 - 6. :/
Thanks for the review!

I really like the synth at the start right off the bat. It has some reverb which makes me think of floating off in a pool of water as my sadness begins to fade into the water. Remembering the sad and happy times I have had with friends in the past.

The piano sounds beautiful and I really like the echo that is heard after each note. The claps and drum rhythm seem to make the song feel a bit more upbeat as in reminding the listener there are still happy memories and times to enjoy.

The song itself, has a wonderful surround sound to it. The only think I may recommend is possibly an ambient bass in the background if it is not already there. As to give the song much more atmosphere.

Overall, the song is beautiful. Would be a great song to listen to during those times one feels really sad and needs a song to make them feel better.

This sound professional.

The voice at the start informs us that it is you voicing the characters.

I found the voices to be nice. However, I saw no reason to bleep out the word fuck for this unless this was meant to be animated. The mutant voice makes me think the person is possibly robotic in nature or a giant hulk like mutant.

Overall, aside from fuck being bleeped out, this was great.

The bass at the start sounds rather mellow.

Then the song slowly begins to work into a full rhythm. The drums sound really nice and I like that hard kick you have going on too. Then the drums begin to layer on themselves and create a full beat. The industrial sound to the drums is very pleasant.

The synth sounds smooth. I like how it seems to immerse you into feeling rather calm yet sad at the same time about your past.

The vocals however, for some reason or another sound rather grainy or maybe they are just low quality since you hear a bit of quality loss on the vocals.

Overall, aside from vocals, sounds nice.
