Not too bad for a dubstep song. I think the only thing I would really change is that first synth. Saying that since it seems like you could filter it a bit so it is not so loud.

The dubstep bass is great. What plugin did you use to create it? Also nice how I can tell there is slight use of Gross Beat to give the illusion of the bass fading at times. then the bass gets slow and mellow then kicks right back into the song. Would fit well for a boss that changes between average and harder than hard to beat.

The second synth I hear away from the wubs is pretty clean and provides a nice backing rhythm. It makes me think of some older dubstep tracks that tend to be light as well The Glitch Mob synths.

The drums are nice and the kicks are heavy and layered as they need to be for this kind of track.

Overall, nice dubstep track.

This is a beautiful piece. Puts a smile on my face and makes me think of better days to come.

The melody makes me think of meeting someone who just seems to make you feel warm inside by just being themself and accepting you for you at the same time. Slowly feelings become friendship, and then grows into hanging out more and more, and finally wanting to be together forever and make each other happy by simply being happy together.

The violin coming in is beautiful and really hits up the much needed high notes to make this song sound inspirational. Using headphones makes this song feel much more atmospheric.

Overall, no flaws or ways to improve this song. Beautiful work.

Hi STE3, thanks so much for your words! they mean a lot.
I love how you described how the melody was growing, since I felt it was the same description that I felt while writing it.

This sounds pretty good but it feels almost like something was off. Could just be me feeling that the synth does not fit in with the rest of the song. Maybe that synth could have been replaced with a rhythm guitar riff?

The drums sound good here and I really like the double bass kick feel I get from this. Come to think of it, this song would probably sound just as good with double bass kicks for almost the full song. Not bad at all.

Overall, interesting attempt but I feel the synth does not truly belong here.

Twone responds:

Interesting that you say that, since the synth was exactly what I was feeling at the time. I didn't want to add more guitar, since I had three other guitar tracks, so I wanted to try something a little different. I knew that it'd be a risk, but I regret nothing! :)

Thanks for the review!

This song is incredibly adorable. Is that an actual cat meowing or just you making a cat sound? Nice little loop.

djahmusic responds:

its an actual cat sound =)
Thanks :p

The tune seems like it would fit well in an old school RPG game such as Shining Force if modern day cities were involved.

The drums are good and heavy. The snares and bass kicks are deep. Were the kicks layered?

The synth makes me think of a mandolin and guitar mix. Then the second synth sounds a lot like a bass guitar riff to me.

The background gun shot sounds are cool.

Overall, can't really seem to think of a way to improve this song. Nicely done.

Radiationator responds:

Yeah, the kicks were layered. I usually layer them and snares.

Thank you! :D

I don't really have much to say for this song. It is rather beautiful though and I like the lyrics. Makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Makes me think of two friends who dated and in the end, nothing worked out but hope they could still be friends after everything has calmed. Beautiful piece.

Kingbastard responds:

Thank you;)

For a joke piece it sounds like it could be even better. What program was used to create this?

I feel the drums could have been layered for a heavier more hip hop kick. The rest seems to be pretty mediocre. Could have been a slightly funnier parody if you had used an actual voice instead of a text to speech program. Oh well.

Overall, nice parody but I feel you could have put more effort into this.

This is pretty sick. It has a sound to it like you were watching a dark sequence happening in a game where people are being altered and turned into demonic mooks of some sort. Very nice and dark sound to it!

AliceMako responds:

Glad you like.

Great cover

I found this to be a relaxing and enjoyable cover of Daft Punk's song. The only thing missing to make this a great cover is someone covering the vocals for this track.

Overall, not bad.

The song sounds nice but I do have a problem with it.

The bass in the song seems to need a bit of tweaking, cancel out the noise on the bass so it doesn't have an additional echo to it. That or try to filter it a bit. The bass kick sounds a bit out of place at first but as the song progresses begins to sound more and more in place.

The song seems to be a fusion of jazz and chiptune which is relaxing to listen to. Song makes me really want to go out and play in some snow.

Overall, aside from issues with the bass rhythm, song is great.

LLAAPPSSEE responds:

Slippery bass.
