[Xionic Madness 4 Part-1]

Very interesting

Well I saw this to be rather interesting anyways. Very well done piece too. The tone of this one kind of reminds me of the final battle from Kingdom Hearts II along with the Ice Queen from Enchanted Arms who would literally regenerate after taking a small amount of damage and brushing it off as nothing at all. Wonder what that thing was at the end and if they can kill the super cyborg.

The animation was very well done and a mix of Madness along with some of your own creativity too. Unlike most of the Madness piece it was nice to see they have voices once more in this piece as the last battle begins anyways. Really nice to see it also plays off a bit as a post-apocalypse anime style piece too. Nicely done.

The audio used was completely fitting the whole way and as the last song begins you get a feel that the boss battle is truly beginning since they are both worn down quickly while the final boss simply continues toying and using more of her energy too. The songs were all things that just seemed to lure you into watching this as well.

The story deepens in this piece I see. Curious as to seeing what shall become of them all next. The zombies I am guessing will die quickly with the soldiers and mystery robot awakening.

Overall, still highly interesting, looking forward to part two.

[Teh Clocklight Zone]

Nicely done

Well that was one largely well done and pulled off prank although PineApple Clock took it a bit too seriously and offed himself before revealing it was all just a joke. For a moment I also thought they had died off the cigarettes seeing as back then a lot of people smoked and had no idea it caused cancer until that dude went to court over it and now they always have to have that warning to warn people. Very well done gray scale animation as well. Kept it up all the way until after the prank ended which was cool.

The animation was rather nicely done and who was that guy in the "Employee of the month" image anyways? Everything here looked pretty cool and the end where everything goes back into color is cool too. Funny how Pineapple could not figure out that it was all simply a cardboard illusion and then he died over it.

The music was cool and nice homage to the original show as well. Always strange situations though. The narration was also really nice. Sounded like at the start that there was part of the Twilight Zone theme looping until the animation started.

Overall, very well done animated and cool Clock Day 2011 piece.

[The Death of Nyan Cat]

Could be a lot better

Also considering how short it was it kind of felt empty as well. I did not really get much of a feel for humor here sadly since Creepers, Nyan Cat, and "Wtf boooom" memes are all pretty old and not as funny as they were a few months or few years ago. It is true with time that some do become funny once more but it takes a long, long time before they ever though.

The animation here is actually quite well done for making fun of stuff. The start was nice with the toaster popping out Nyan Cat who was also very well drawn too. Then you kind of killed it by having a creeper say another hackneyed meme that kind of lost its charm ages ago with a large amount of youtube poops.

It was rather short and filled with old yet unfunny content but the animation is pretty nice. To be honest I kind of prefer some nyan cat remixes over the original one.

The audio used was rather good here for a remix piece so that was quite well done too. The credit music was quite appealing and nice I think since it kind of gives a strange feel anyways.

Overall, I am not saying this is terrible but coming up with some material that applies to more than just kids who think that one or two things are funny would be nice anyways. Have fun with future pieces anyways. Also try to make the next one a little longer too.

Great Work

Have to say I guess it feels that way sometimes to some people since they procrastinate for so long before they even bother getting started on doing something and by the time it is due to get something turned in or done it's usually less than half done and they feel as if they had simply wasted time working on it. I think you did a wonderful job here as well.

The animation was great and lots of good cameos as well since I saw a few clocks I rarely ever see. Funny how right when he is getting ready to tell Pineapple Clock something then steak clock appears and the program crashes with you simply tossing something aside.

Nice choice in music, I also enjoy AC/DC, good song though.

Overall, great clock day piece. I think it went well.

[Strawberry's Hour]

Well Animated

Well this one turned out to be pretty good and I guess it goes to show that not everyone can stand the test of time while others can. I would say after the ending that Strawberry gets out of the hole just a whole lot more pissed off and scared at the grim reaper clock and dog clock doing that to him and simply leaving him there to suffocate in the dirt rather than celebrate his day with him. Good work of art though, very detailed.

The animation was well done and I see you spent a lot of time shading on each frame and such to try getting details just right. Kind of funny how it starts and you have no clue why he is there and then it is revealed the grim reaper is after him for some reason or another and Strawberry simply feels it is not his time and tries to get away as fast as possible.

Then later he falls into a hole and that dog buries him likely not knowing he is there either. Wonder who was calling that dog in the end though as it leaves him but not before burying him deep under dirt possibly just annoying him seeing as Strawberry Clock can not die. Good animation though, quite detailed and nice to watch.

The music used was nice and the symphony music was pretty cool and fitting here since music can tell all kinds of stories once you begin to listen to them and see what kind of message they convey and such. I found the tunes here were fitting for every moment of the flash. Wonderful.

Overall, highly interesting and detailed Clock Day 2011 piece, nice work here!!

[Resistance Is Futile]

Great Piece of work

I have to say this was pretty cool piece and strangely the music was just as catchy too. Clock day this year was still quite fun though even though there was less submissions than last year. However there was a ton of high quality pieces as well making it still quite awesome for a holiday. This piece was just a good piece of gold too, excellent work too. How long did you spend working on it?

The animation was rather wonderful and some parts made me want to think this was homage to an older style of flash the clock crew were once using a long time ago, nice to see this pays a bit of homage to it. Funny how Grape Clock was whipping everyone, I am guessing he was Strawberry Clock's second in command here? Kind of chuckled at the surprise ending as well, found that funny as well.

The voices were good. Who did Wade's voice for this? The music was a blast and the music at end was also a blast. "Edn" voice was goofy yet fun to hear. Good times Clock day is indeed.

The story seemed to be pretty straightforward which is no matter how much one tries to blam something on clock day it will always pass, always!!

Overall, very nice piece, would have been cool to see it win a daily award as well. Excellent work here CorpseGrinderClock!!

[The Very Hungry Luid]

Pretty awesome

Loved how he humorously got stoned as a caterpillar and came out as a very drunken and angry Luis. the drawing style here was incredible to say the least as well. Loved the story parody and how everything had a clock face. In the end Grandfather Strawberry simply scared the kid to sleep for fun I guess.

The animation was well done and it felt like you were watching an animated storybook to be honest. I have not read that book in ages though, such good times they were indeed. All the art and love that went into this must have taken a couple of weeks too. Wonderful though.

The music used was completely fitting and quite nice. The credit music kind of makes you feel nice yet also completely sleepy as well. Kind of funny how this bedtime story leads up to another Clock day piece from a few years ago too, sweet.

Overall, wonderful piece and quite good in storybook telling.

[The Cat and the Fish]

Interesting and Odd

Kind of funny how you expect the cat to eat the fish and it becomes the other way around. Certainly hope that cat did not belong to anyone as they will never see it again either. I have to say though I found this to be a rather interesting piece and I think you did a wonderful job of showing a little tale of how not everything is how it appears.

The animation looked very well done. How long did you end up spending to make this little short piece anyways? The cat actually looked pretty cute and very nicely drawn as well. The dude just kind of seemed unhappy with life and that fish was simply a trap. Kind of have to wonder though, why didn't the cat try to climb down and run away real quick when it saw what the fish was? The walls were also very nicely drawn so kudos there too. The graffiti was a nice touch.

The audio playing was nice and all of it was fitting where it needed to be played so nice work there on those parts. Who did the voice of the guy though, you? If so then nice, it sounds great. Really good audio though.

Overall, very excellent and well done animation, was quite awesome.

[Sonic VS ??? Unfinished]

SO short.....

...even for a test piece. Have to say though I find it kind of sad people do not upload their test or beta content to Dumping Grounds so people can give feedback on what they think should be done rather than uploading it to the flash portal where it stands a chance to survive but will most likely end up blammed in the end due to shortness, annoyance, bugs, etc.

It is not awful bad for a start but given as it is at the moment you have no real idea of what to expect in the future and there is no back story to it either. Really hope the finished project ends out well though considering that even though this is a few seconds it looks alright anyways, it is just the idea and fact that this is short and leaving too much of a plot hole and many other things open.

For a few seconds the animation seems alright. Sonic's shoe and leg seem to have some details on them but shading would help and the field and skies look alright I suppose. The it goes right to the screen saying versus and bother versions of retro Sonic leaping at each other too. You just have to wonder whats going to happen anyways.

The music was alright I think. What was it called anyways? Music and the first two or three seconds of this are good though.

Overall, needs a lot of work but ok for a few seconds. A preloader and play button would be nice so it does not loop over and over again.
