Nonsense fueled short game. I noticed once you got to the large sandwich screen that there was no way to go past there so I assume that is the last level of the game. The sentence splicing was interesting to say the least.

SANDWICH!
Smooth gameplay although there are times where it seems a bit buggy. The music was nice but I feel it would have been better if you spent a little time to code it so loops rather than restarts from the very start.
On that note, kind of sad how this was never completed.
Not that bad for a one hour game. It would have been better if the controls were not as slippery and Mario was not able to go off screen. I would say you should have added sound effects but not sure how long that would have ended up taking you to complete.
This game seems kind of like a clusterfuck of weirdness. You have a Photoshop Flowey bare base looking type boss, some somewhat unfitting music and then a Earthbound dialog box if you lose the game. Winning the game did not feel that rewarding but it was a nice way to waste a few minutes.
Only thing I would have changed is adding sound effects for when Photoshop Garfield hits certain amounts of hit points, giving Jon sounds for when he takes damage (that is not Undertale sounding) and giving Jon some moving sprites for when he is moving around.
I mean... the title is accurate so you do not have to expect very much from this small interactive piece. You get some soda or whatever and pour it endlessly into your cup.... as you keep pouring, you notice that your life is going places or something, I have no idea.
No sounds, no music, it is just lame, but very honest. Hopefully your next piece is better than this one.
Semi-decent game and not a bad way to waste time, I did seem to encounter some type of strange bug though where the game just freezes when pressing play if you decide not to play for a few days. (Showed me at level 99, all zones unlocked, but all the stuff i had bought was gone and a large invisible box was bricking the game for some reason.)
Aside from a bizarre bug, the game is fun when it works right.
This does seem like a somewhat promising start to the game:
Pros:
- The graphics are nice
- Decent music (which I imagine may be changed at some point to something else seeing as it is still in the beta stage)
Cons:
- Voice acting (will not be too harsh here as this a demo and there is plenty of time for adding more / better voices sometime down the road)
- Controls
-- You should have the option to use either the D-Pad OR Left Control Stick, seems it would make more sense and make it easier for those that prefer Left Control Stick over the D-Pad
-- If you accidentally use a controller or keyboard, can be a bit difficult or impossible to switch back to using the style you were using
-- There seems to be a .5 second delay between a key input and when the bullets are sent from the character that you play with.
Other than that, does not seem bad. Hopefully the game is able to meet it's kickstarter goal and get somewhere. I feel $45k is a bit high for this game currently but who knows, it could happen, if not, I would just lower the end goal for now and swap $45k to being a bonus end goal honestly.
Not a bad quiz game, would be nice if the medals stacked though so I do not have to go back through and try to get more wrong to unlock medals.. :(
Not a bad maze game but there are some parts where it is not obvious how things correlate (such as the chest and flowers in a pattern or clicking on a random brick reveals the blue gem). The music was really not that fitting for the game either.
Thanks.
