Sounds good

Vaguely reminds me of that minigame rave song in Epic Battle Fantasy 3 but with more rhythm and balance added into the mix as well. The tune is very good to be honest. Sounds good and finished to me as well. The rave drums sound familiar as they do in almost all rave songs. The main beat though is fast paced and awesome as well. Great work there on a sweet rave rhythm.

The tune kind of gives me a feel like I was getting ready to take a nap which I never do anyways. At the same time it makes me feel like I am having to groove and that good stuff. Nice work on this. Looking forward to more in the future.

Needs a lot of work

It is under a minute long and does not seem to have much of a rhythm to it sadly. It sounds like you have one instrument going for the most part and then you just slapped in sounds as you went along without trying to make it fit along as a beat. It kind of sounds funky though.

If you were to resubmit this I would advise you to make it longer and work on the rhythm a bit more so it flows more smoothly. It is not a bad attempt though at trying to make a beat though. good job on at least putting a bit of effort into it.

Good use of fruity loops

I heard the first five seconds and realized that you had used Fruity Loops which is cool. Then I noticed this is a remake of something I had reviewed earlier for you before you removed it. =[ My gosh is this an awesome final piece remake. I would say you hit a lot of sweet tooths upon releasing this finale piece of what you started with.

The main sounds I hear make me think of chainsaws, Charlie and the chocolate factory, cops, and fire trucks. The feel of this song is just weird since certain parts also make me think of Resident Evil 3 as well. This is seriously a weird and crazy piece. Could see it in a horror based game since it seems to be a weird and disturbing sounding tune.

Overall, horrifying and excellent.

Soft tone

This song has a soft feel to it for the most part despite it sounding fast, upbeat and everything else about it. The drums give a great speedy mix feeling to it. The keyboard makes it feel weird and spacey and fast. The bass is nice to hear as well. The overall flow is rapidly fast approaching feeling to it.

It kind of gives a feel as if you are in a desolate city and one of the few survivors in a zombie ridden city that tries to eat you alive. You approach the lab but can you escape from it?

Overall, this is a good song and I liked it a lot. Looking forward to more in the future.

It's always fun to see what people think of my music lol
also, Originally I was going to name the song with something to do with hyperspace or something moving really fast in space for the original name of the song i was remixing was called Endless Space

Thanks again for the review!

Space race feel

The tone of the song reminds me of Top Gear 3000 for the SNES. The tune gives me a vibe like you are getting ready to compete against the galaxies best racers ever known to man and alien alike.

The piano gives off a nice and mellow feel to it like you have hope for the future and you have to make sure you do your best at whatever. The orchestra drums are nice as well since they make it feel a bit more sinister and upbeat as well. The bass line is soft and relaxing as well.

If I could I would create a remake of this and speed up the tempo by 7 at the most to give a bit more sped up and soothing feeling.

The violin sounds are nice and lovely.

Overall, this is a great tune to listen. Could see it being used in a space based game. Looking forward to more in the future.

A space game you say? Never imagined it being usable for something like that, but oh well =p

The 'piano' is a harp by the way ;)

Glad you liked it, and thanks for the review!

Beautiful

I really like the trumpet and piano combination. Reminds me heavily of Final Fantasy III which I have been playing a lot of lately. The tune kind of just makes me think of walking into a bar for the first time in a gloomy feeling atmosphere as well.

The piano is really soft and the trumpet sounds great as well. If I could I would simply make it twice as long but sound the same. Very good work on this.

Thanks for the nice review!

Happy you like it, I did put quite a bit of effort into making the best chord progression possible. Haven't been playing any FF anytime recently, so I don't quite remember that, I'll go check it out in a few.

As I said to the previous poster, next semester, I'll be playing this song and many more, so expect this song to be at least 5 times longer!

Thanks again for the review!

Good for fight scene

This would be an excellent song for a fight scene actually. The guitar riff is really good to be honest. Soft yet harsh at the same time. The bass is simplistic and barely noticeable at all to be honest. The drums sound right on as well.

The overall flow and feel of the song is that of the person being in an epic action movie scene where they do an old school bad ass fight with someone as well. Very good song.

Overall, this is a great piece. Looking forward to more in the future and maybe turn up the volume a bit as well.

Sounds relaxing

Sounds like a very relaxing tune as you said it was. The keyboard reminds me a bit of Electro Rock by Sworn. The tune just sounds real soft overall though since it never gets heavy at all. The bass line is pretty casual as well. The drum was also simplistic although towards the second half of the song it speeds up a bit.

Overall, this is an alright song. I could see it being used as menu music in a flash game of some kind that was industrial related.

Hmm, interesting. It doesn't strike me as industrial, but it's always neat to get other perspectives!

Thanks for the kind words!

Sounds good

If you want me to do vocals then give me the lyrics and I can try my best with them that I can. The keyboard sounds dark yet beautiful and reminds me a bit of Final Fantasy III which was a fun game. They also slightly remind of Kefka who is very weird as well. The keyboard then takes on a really fast and dark pace which is cool.

The bass sounds very relaxing as well. It just sounds like you were relaxed while playing it as well. The bass is just relaxing overall.

The guitar riff sounds very nice and heavy which I like a lot. Good work on a good riff made via the guitar. The guitar riff kind of sounds like hope during a boss battle and the player is about to either win or lose it all.

The drums sound really cool. The drum beat reminds me a lot of Avenged Sevenfold which tends to be a good band with good songs.

Overall, wicked beat you have going on here. Good work on it.

I wrote one line for lyrics... but you're not getting far with that. :P

The drums are REALLY hard to get a good sound out of, considering the lack of mics I have and the crappy room it's recorded in. I tried my best, and it came out favorable I guess.

Thank you so much! :D

Sounds really good

The guitar riff and opening sounds nice but as for your voice. I would suggest that maybe you back away from the mic a bit since at the start it gets a little too loud for me to understand what you said at first. The guitar sounds simply amazing and really nice though, love the heavy riff as well. The overall flow is that you just got done rocking out at a show but you stayed after while your bassist and drummer left you.

The solo was really nice as well, kicked up and speedy as well. Very good job on this.

TheDaemonicPoet responds:

Thank you! Glad you liked it. And it was a pain in the ass to record the voice without making it too loud or almost inaudible. Also, I hope you listen to the complete song when I record it. If everything runs well it will have drums and bass.
