Overload in rave

This is a great sounding techno rave song actually. The flow is making me feel kind of dancy again for no reason even though I don't dance often because people constantly begging me turned off to dancing. So I rarely do it anymore but I'm pretty good.

The main beat is really good. I could see it being used at a rave or a night club actually. The beat is just really up there and makes you feel good and wanting to be hyper as well. Good luck on future pieces you write and submit to the portal.

Thanks!

Sounds great

The guitar has a really good riff going on as well as the keyboard playing its part. Rainbow Road is always the funnest but most dangerous course since you can fall off at any moment if you don't time yourself with curves. The drums sound very nice as well. The overall riff and covering of the wii version is quite good.

Really enjoyed this. Think you could try some Paper Mario : The Thousand Year Door covers sometime?

TheJonnyDeath responds:

Glad you enjoyed it! I will be doing some Paper Mario soon but the current planned song (Attack of the Koopa Bros) is from the original. I'll see if I can check out some TYD stuff.

Seems alright

The piano at the start seems kind of mellow actually .Sounds like something I could easily play on piano as well. The drum beat sounds good to me though. It starts to kick in with a good start. The synth guitar sounds nice as well. Even though it could use more of a rhythm.

The piano beat is alright overall though. When the second synth guitar rhythm starts it sounds a lot better actually since it also plays by itself for a moment. The song sounds alright overall though. I guess you could have made the bass guitar a bit lower in sound instead of overly loud as you had made it.

The rhythm overall sounds pretty good though. Good luck on any future pieces you make as well.

Finally, a nice, long, written review. I appreciate the comment ^w^

Beautiful cover

Sounds the same as earlier but the lyrics can be heard which is nice. Kind of sounds beautiful for an orchestra cover. Reminds me a bit of Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 for some reason actually. The tune sounds very nice and beautiful as well.

The orchestra choir and sounds nice but when you scream it makes it seem unfitting for some reason actually. Nice sounding overall though, really like how it flows together until you scream. Nice work on this cover version. Looking forward to more in the future as well.

Pure-Metal-UTA responds:

Thanks again!
The thing about the screams is that in the original version there's some voice in the screams whereas in this one it's just scream. My throat doesn't agree with me when I try to put some voice behind the scream, so I almost immediately start coughing. So I just stuck with the scream, which at times does seem very unfitting.
Thanks for the review!

It is ok

It could be far more better I guess but it reminds me of the fight club stage in Tekken 5 a lot actually. Was there any real theme to this loop or was it just something that sounded good when you finished it? It sounds alright to me anyways.

Kind of makes me feel like I have to fight to survive strangely, good little beat though. It has a more industrial feel to it than a hip hop beat.

DXsamurai responds:

thank for the review. yay i got the tekken feeling to from this.

it is alright I guess

It could be better if I could hear the vocals a bit better since I can not really understand what you are singing a lot of the time due to the after sound I keep hearing on it. Not a real problem, would just be nice if you had left your voice as it was since it probably would have sounded a lot better.

It sounds like you are singing about someone you loved but lost. I have been there. I know how it feels and it sucks. The guitar riff is great and sounds good to me. The drums are simple as are most of them that I hear. The bass is good and seems to have a bit of life to it. The keyboard is brilliant as well.

Overall, this is a beautiful song and all. I would just adjust the vocals so people might be able to hear you a bit better.

Thanks for the review!
The song isn't originally by me, but by a band called Sonata Arctica, and they're pretty amazing.
First impressions of the song aren't what they seem either, like I said in the commentary, it's about a stalker's last moments with the woman he was stalking.
In regards to the vocals, i put on a helluva lot of reverb on it, which may be why it sounds the way it does.
Thanks for the review, it's much appreciated!

Interesting

The banjo at the start is very interesting to say the least and reminds e of the desert levels from Super Mario Bros. 3. The main beat is quite amazing though and I really like it a lot as well. The drums sound nice as well, kind of reminds me of Dobeck from Step Brothers playing his drums at the end with a simple start to them.

The vocals are cool and enjoyable when they do appear in the song which is cool. The banjo just sounds incredible with the beat overall though, really amazes me since it seems you put a lot of heart and effort into this beat. The keyboard wind instrument sound is like the cherry on top. It makes it even better.

Overall, this is a very good beat, nice work on it. Looking forward to more in the future as well.

SoulSecure responds:

Lol at "banjo". It's an Okinawan Sanshin, but people often thought it was some sort of primitive banjo when they saw me play it. Then again, people also thought my mandolin was a banjo or a ukulele (both of which are nothing like mandolin so it was rather funny).

I've never seen Step Brothers so I'll have to look for this scene.

Thanks for your review!

Simplistic

This is a very nice and simplistic techno loop actually. The main keyboard beat keeps it funky feeling anyway which is cool. The drum beat sounds simple enough which is always nice I guess. I couldn't understand what the voice was saying though. Care to clear that tiny bit up for me?

The main feeling is like you are at a party but you are sitting there in the corner chilling out by yourself because no one else cares. Very nice and simple loop. Looking forward to more in the future.

It's House not Techno, I think :)
The Voice is Saying 'Don't Stop' If SeeD419 is correct, I think it's from an ATB song.
Thanks for the awesome input! Your reviews are always smile-able :)

Soothing

This is such a blissful and classic peace. It reminds me a bit of Mylo and Otis the movie. Not sure if you have seen it. Kind of reminds me of the scene where they are getting acquainted before their crazy life journey starts. The drums are nice to hear though, really like them. The piano is also very soft feeling, nice job there.

The overall feel kind of calms you down a lot. Very nice job on this piece of classical music.
