Strange peace

Reminds me a lot of Magus's hideout in Crono Trigger since the wind sound makes it sound slightly eerie and then it reminds me of Final Fantasy III as goes to being calm and celebration like overall with the keyboard playing. It sounds very calm.

Like the calm feeling that this tune really delivers as it makes it something you would hear to calm down or maybe celebrate something about I guess. The overall flow is great too and cool. Good job here.

Overall, no way to improve, great job here!!

Ah, Magnus's hideout... I remember that part... originally, I wanted to put bird sounds instead of wind, but couldn't really find a good VST for it, so went with the wind. I'm glad you like it!

Startling

When I first heard it the loud cymbal hit at the start slightly scared me for a moment but then I noticed it throughout the whole entire song as well. The piano and sped up sounding piano are nice and the reverse drum hits are cool too. The synth makes the song sound a bit cheesy though, at least to me anyways.

The song kind of makes me feel like I am being rushed out of a place with zombies in it trying to kill me. the song is very nice though and I like it a lot. The overall flow seems to run along smoothly and the piano sounds quite amazing to be honest and I liked that a lot as well.

Overall, this is a short but good song, nice job. Kind of makes me think of Sonic the Hedgehog.

Albert Wesker

You sound almost exactly like Albert Wesker from Resident Evil and it sounds like he would say that too if he hadn't been killed in a volcano in Resident Evil 5. Very nice story though and the voice acting is very firm and strongly delivered. It is a very strange and weird story as well too.

I really wouldn't suggest changing anything done. I guess I could go to the writing forum and try to voice act one of the stories and see how it goes as well.

Overall, very strongly done, excellent job Coop!!!

Do a search for Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds - Eve of the War and see for yourself how close I got it to Richard Burton's original work :)

Long and retro

Quite good since the buildup at the start sounds cool. Sounds like a mix between Hip hop and the intro theme from Luigi's Mansion as well except more casual and cooler as well. I could see it being used in an urban or haunted house styled flash game or movie as well.

The gradual breakdowns and buildups are cool and I love the various sounds used in this song as well. The wind with the piano sounds very nice too and the overall flow is changed from time to time. Kind of makes me feel a bit isolated like I was on a space station trying to escape before some zombies ate me since the wind sounds a bit like zombies as well.

Really lovely piece though.

Overall, good job, looking forward to more in the future from you. Also a little over 12 minutes long. :D Definitely worth sitting through it all the way.

thanks for the review :D

im happy you like it :)

hip-hop themed is what i had in mind for the intro, and yes the whole thing is supposed to sound like 'modern retro' just like bit.trip does.

i also feel that for 12 mins its not very repetitive, which is not easy to pull off

Sounds computer like

The start it starts real slow and sounds like a really slow computer sound from Tron and slowly picks up speed and turns into a great tune actually which is completely awesome as well. The song is pretty cool sounding though to me.

The drums are good and I like the whoosh sounds and the whole keyboard sounds as well. Really cool house beat and quick slow downs and breakdowns and buildups sound pretty cool as well. The way it flows is like quicksand, ensnares the listener and makes them feel like panicking and partying at the same time as well.

When the beat slows down for awhile it sounds cool and slowly builds back up as well making it cool.

Overall, a great piece.

Very cool description, and I know what you mean because I've watched the movie :P

Glad you liked the drums, not my strong point :P

Thanks a lot for the review and comments :)

Rapid

Drums are heavily rapid along with the whole beat. Somewhat reminds me of madness series but this song is really upbeat and insanely fast kind of like a rave song actually which it probably is to me anyways. The drums are excellent though.

The buildup and voice are nice and the overall flow of the beat is excellent, also reminds me of the minigame with Nolegs from Epic Battle Fantasy III. This song is just like ear candy to me anyways and sounds excellent. Not much else to say except for great job on a crazy upbeat and crazy tune here.

Overall, very good job.

Awesome man :D

Yeah, this does sound like a Rave track, in fact, that's what it is :P

Battle Fantasy III eh? I've never played that. I'll check it out.

Thanks man, glad you like it :D

Hilarious

I like how instead of a scar he got fat instead because of it. Also very nice and chilling music. "Why so hungry?" Like how you kept making it dramatic and forcing him to become extremely fat as well. The background music was quite fitting though and I really liked it.

The voice acting was sound as well, sounds extremely good, although you could have made your voice sound a bit harsher. Aside from that it was very nice and funny as well.

Pretty good

Really reminds me of Sonic Pinball Party since that seemed to be the kind of music played for a majority of the pinball tables. Kind of makes me think of casinos as well which is what you may have been aiming for I guess. Lastly it reminds me of those incredibly old black and white text movies where something would happen then a box of text would appear afterwards.

The trumpet and other instruments playing are really jazzy as the genre applies and the drum rhythm is more simplistic than most I have heard as well. Really like the piano playing as well, sounds a bit comical yet really good at the same time.

Overall, this is a pretty good song, very nice work.

Never played the game before, but I'm guessing it must be close enough!
