I remember the motorcycle event well. The tune kind of makes you enter panic mode a bit strangely until you get used to it. I had to retry it a few times to finally get past it. It was a fun part to kick off the midpoint of the first disc when you finally leave Midgar which you come back to near the end of the game.
The piano here was very nicely worked out and I enjoyed it a lot too. The synth provides the main piece since they both play a separate piece of the whole tune in sync. The drums sound good, like how they roll out as triplets as well which is great.
Hey thanks a lot! I'm really glad that you liked this one! One of my favorite songs on FFVII :D
Yeah many many times I did not succeeded on that little piano part, it was always too low on volumes or not in balance, this time I balanced it pretty well =)
Wow is that quite loud dude. At least the start was and then most of the main beat with the dubstep sounds were very loud. Could have put up a slight warning that the listener should turn down the volume to avoid damaging their ears here. Aside from that you did produce a well done beat anyways.
The synth sounds very light and enjoyed when the wahwah effect came into play on it. The second synth continues on the same beat uninterrupted or tampered with. The dubstep sounds kind of make me think of Mega Man here.
The drums sound excellent and somewhat like what I could play on a drum set. There is no bass in this beat I see. I guess that is cool anyways.
And yeah, the dubstep stuff is just me experimenting around with the genre and more particularly the synth Massive (my previous dubstep song 'I Wub Wub Wub You" was made with Sytrus).
The piano going back and forth at the start then lead up with a slick beat is actually pretty nice this time around. I seem to have enjoyed this beat. Sounds like something I would listen to in Portal while I go farther in to try to fight Wheatley once again when he goes powermad all of a sudden with rage.
The drums lay down some awesome coordination and sound quite amazing here which turns out to be working nicely in your favor here so good work. The bass is ultra heavy but completely awesome with how it carries out a message of being happy. The synth and ambient tone of it all makes you feel great and I seem to enjoy that as well.
Overall, you seem to have done a good remake/remix of a good song from a game I have never played. I heave heard of it though.
Well you succeeded in making a glitchy hip hop beat featuring those awesome little ponies from that great show here. Really enjoy how hoppy the drums sound here. They just hope around a lot during the main beat. Like how you transition between the three styles. I hear Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, I really loved how the Pinkie Pie voice got ultra cool and glitchy. Kind of made me want a cupcake, I just enjoy her lighthearted and funny good nature. Kind of makes everyone else feel better. :D
The bass and drums sounded excellent here and I enjoyed them. The drums get hoppy and they just stay awesoem the whole time. Enjoy the long ambient 8-bit notes that play here as well. Like how towards the end the drums and Pinkie get truly fast and glitchy and then "Woah", sounds like one of the ponies had an orgasm or something, heh.
Thank you. Pinkie is my favourite simply because she says the greatest and most light-hearted stuff :] I'm glad you enjoyed my track. I made it in a day along with other tracks which I compiled into an EP, pretty much made from samples of the show. Thanks for the review. :)
Although if you ever redid this I would recommend raising Rainbow's voice since I can barely make out what she is saying. However I think you could also raise the overall beat of the whole song and turn it up a bit. I am sure it turned out great when you worked on it but if you redo it turn up the decibel level so it sounds a lot better.
The drums are cool. I can barely make out Fluttershy screaming in naive fear. Also Rainbow going "hahahahahahahahawwawawawawa" sounds cool I guess. What is he saying at the start anyways since he also says it during the main part as well. The bass line like and synth sound great here. Like the hardcore breakdown.
Thank you! I probably will end up redoing this and making it better, It was more of a messing around kind of thing, so I didn't really work on mastering/volume at all, I'll put it up when I do, maybe even add a bit more to it :) i'm gonna start putting songs up more often, so check back every now and then and watch me be an idiot with a music production program until I get a little better :P
Haha, I actually enjoyed this. I decided to look up the game corner theme since I suddenly got the tune into my head. However I have not played Gold or Heartgold in a very good long while but the Game Corner beat always managed to make me relax a bit. The games there were good time wasters as well which was cool.
The drum rhythm here is quite good and flows with good circulation and everything else as well. I like how you kind of made it more modern feeling without taking away the feel of the original as well. The guitar sounds awesome here, enjoyed how at some parts it sounded kind of like a breakdown and solo. Great bass line here.
Overall, awesome remake, great memories!! Excellent loop.
This is a very good classical styled remix of the original song that did start it all. Actually prefer the original instead of the constantly newer and more modern remixes of it. They just don't capture the feel any more you know.
The piano and violins here make it sound completely good and eerie at the same time. The way it just goes slow and gives you a feeling of impending doom as you come closer to Bowser. You see flames coming at you halfway through the 8-4 castle. Will you win?
The only bad thing is the guitar at the start sounded a bit sloppy sadly. Then when it kicks to the main beat with the vocals and such it sounds a lot better actually. The guitar kind of reminds me of Silent Hill 2 as well which is cool anyways. The way the song plays itself seems to be nice. Really liked the lyrics, kind of describes life on the road as a band holds concerts as they go from place to place.
The drums sound good and slightly reminds me of Everlong by the Foo Fighters as well which is pretty cool anyways. The bass line seems to be smooth and plays along nicely. The vocals give off a great feeling as if you put your soul into this. The way the song goes overall seems to go out smoothly here except for some parts where both the guitar and bass seem a bit off beat but it is not very noticeable at all.
Overall, very good fanboy song. Congrats on this being your band's second song!!
Well this one seems to have gone over well. It gives off the dark feel as if something evil was about to go down in the center of the city. Two cloaked figures stand face to face with each other. Both dual wielding their own keyblades and blaming each other for why the heartless have come to the world. The red cloaked figure is actually the heartless controller while the back cloaked one is where the red one somehow spawned from. The ultimate fight soon begins anew near midnight...
The orchestra sounds very beastly and good hear. Really loved how the drums kick things up and slowly get the beat starting. Then the synth sound comes in and gives the listener an eerie feel as they delve to the heart of things and soon begin to feel immersed in a boss battle. Personally I would love to see this used as a boss song or as a stage song for a final area where darkness and fire or whatever is destroying the area and you have to find the final boss.
The deep piano and other sounds give off a great feel here. The monster staccatos and kontakt give off the truly dark vibe to this dark piece.
Overall, great boss beat and dark feeling.

Very nice insight. To be honest I never really did have a fight in my mind when making this song. I tried to make a song which sound dark, scary and sinister. Although an ultimate fight does come to mind when the song kicks in at 1:03 :D.
"The orchestra sounds very beastly and good hear."
Yep, beastly is exactly how I tried to make it! Glad I succeeded over there.
"Really loved how the drums kick things up and slowly get the beat starting."
Awesome. Even though I made these drums ages ago for the song, I still find them some of my best drums.
"Then the synth sound comes in and gives the listener an eerie feel as they delve to the heart of things and soon begin to feel immersed in a boss battle."
Thank you :3.
"Personally I would love to see this used as a boss song or as a stage song for a final area where darkness and fire or whatever is destroying the area and you have to find the final boss."
The only problem with that is that this song was intended as a full song, not background music, so it has mood changes, doesn't loop, etc... So it won't make a perfect background music unless it plays on a similar mood/theme for the whole track :P.
"The deep piano and other sounds give off a great feel here. The monster staccatos and kontakt give off the truly dark vibe to this dark piece."
Yeah a lot of people liked the piano when I showed them this song. I definitely tried to make it give off a disturbing, dark feel. And I added the monster staccatos because I thought I should add another thing to the background :D.
"Overall, great boss beat and dark feeling."
I really appreciate the review! I wish there was some way to repay you for all of these detailed reviews that you're giving me.
