This song was rather neat and gives me that feeling like I am going through a maze and yet having no idea of how to get to the exit and find weapons here and there to help me survive against the animals unleashed into the maze. Tune in itself kind of feels like a maze at the same time.

The drums have that rather dynamic feel and sound very dramatic as if trying to give the feeling of something always, always happening in that strange maze. The chorus was nice and I like how light it managed to stay light when it played while the song played on and kept going.

The harp sounded beautiful here and was very well composed in that melody. The wind instruments went nicely and I like how they give that over the top drama effect to the song like something could happen at any moment as the person turned each corner in the maze.

Alternatively, this could make an excellent boss battle song too, nice.

Overall, very dynamic and great maze/boss song!

This track was a most beautiful track that you have produced. The tune gives that sick vibe of relaxing yet wanting to dance at the same time so I have to say I really enjoyed hearing this track and listening to it all the way! For a moment it feels like you can hear vocals coming in at the one minute mark but it is just the music speaking.

The wobbles added in kind of make me think of shuffling actually, nice little thought I think. The piano gives a sense of relaxation and just being able to enjoy life without being scared all the time and being who you are and what you wish to be. Songs gives a sense of just never giving up your dreams and strive to be what you wish to be.

The drums were really nice and seem to give that relaxing feel to the whole track and very soft on the mind as it comes in. Just sounds like drum kicks for the most part though which works. The lighthearted synth track works like a wonder here as it gives that definite dancing feel like everything in life is good.

The bass heard here gives that last boost needed to make the song its absolute best!! Excellent work here on this track. Looking forward to more as always!

Overall, sick beat.

I found the voice acting to be very solid here and I heard little to no popping sounds at all which helps make it sound a lot better. The dialogue was most hilarious to me since the boss kept annoying Randall with some questions for a start.

Nice to see Randall got a promotion too and his boss keeps getting his name wrong which is pretty funny since he keeps saying it constantly. The boss's heavy breathing when speaking of his girlfriend creeps Randall out since he keeps getting more and more intrusive with questions and then he gets chewed out by Randall.

Nice to see his boss finally admit he has no friends since his attitude towards people goes from friendly to just being downright creepy instead. Nice to see Randall is kind enough to start over with him and try to get him to at least have one friend. Then he creeps him out again and he walks out.

Overall, funny skit since he keeps talking to people in a friendly matter then just goes creepy on them. Very funny and nicely done.

Thanks for the review!

This turned out to be a really great beat and nice to see it has a really nice and dark feeling to it like something was about to go down in a city at night while the zombies look for a bite but the humans just won't stop the fight while they take them out with guns and knives. Very cool and solid beat.

The background bass is actually very good as it gives a surround sound feeling like there are zombies out there everywhere. The drums run smoothly and seem to make the whole thing seem like an upward yet hard battle to accomplish. The piano and reverse effect sounds actually make this all the more interesting to hear too.

Overall, great song and very much enjoyable too. Have fun with more in the future.

The song has a nice classical video game feel to it. The use of vocal samples here were pretty good making it change from soft techno to sounding a bit harsher and the way the vocals are used kind of make me think of Dollface's voice from the new Twisted Metal actually which is kind of weird I suppose.

Fluttershy's voice being distorted was actually pretty nice since it does give the feeling that she is becoming delusional as the song goes on. Then goes back to being calm as she remembers who she is.

The 8-bit digital synth sounds very nice and rather enjoyable too. The harder sounding synth gives a feel of going into a boss battle with Fluttershy as the player tries to help her calm down and regain composure again. The bass sounds really nice here and lovely how it sounds so thick too. The drums sound like a live digital drum recording too. Nice how it ends with her being a bit mocking, I guess she wins the boss battle or she says that right before regaining composure.

Overall, interesting song and would make for a great boss battle song. Looking forward to more.

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it, I'm actually planning on revisiting this song later to add some more length and to change and clean up a couple of things.
Thanks again! :b

sorry about the late response, been pretty busy lately. :/

For something that is only on piano it sounds beautiful. Love how the notes slightly ring out too after each note is played creating kind of a backing bass effect as a normal piano also would. The composition is very beautifully played. Kind of sounds like the effect for the piano is a concert hall kind of thing where it plays loud and clear for everyone to hear at the same time.

Overall, I don't really see anything wrong with this piece so nice work I think.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's a pretty beautiful song. :]

I found this to be downright hilarious! Possibly inspired by the "Bitches love Dragonite"? On a side note, used to love using Aggron in Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald because that thing had an awesome attack power. Hilarious little vocal skit!

RicePirate responds:

I'm not familiar with it, it's actually based on an online fan-made poster. Glad you liked it :D

Loved how this told such a dynamic story of trying to find safety despite all the dangers they kept encountering at each one that went to, it was almost always an adventure that they had to keep trying to survive and no matter what, never giving up either to find a place they could call home or sanctuary. And reading the description.... 49 instruments?! That's a lot of patience and I still have demo and usually just stop after trying to get a bass rhythm to go with the drum set up which seems to overpower the bass or synth for some reason.

The drums here have a nice little feeling to them and give that truly dynamic feel of never truly being alone and always having to hunt for a new place to stay. No matter what, something is likely there trying to get them. However a lack of drums at the end gives that feeling that they did find a place of peace and that they may finally be able to rest for once and stop having to look for a place they can rest in safety. Wonderful way to end it.

The harp reminded me a lot of Final Fantasy VIII when going to where the minotaur brothers were for some reason. The bass felt kind of like a bass guitar but it was a cello instead right? Very nice on the ears to listen to. Can just picture a whole orchestra actually playing the song actually.

The violins give that feeling of constant peace and strangely make me think of Kingdom Hearts credit music too, cool I suppose. The trombones, trumpets, and others of those sort make this song truly a joy to listen to and very nice on the ears as well.

Overall, lovely to hear how this one turned out, excellent work, looking forward to more!!

Wow man, thanks for the long review!

"Loved how this told such a dynamic story of trying to find safety despite all the dangers they kept encountering at each one that went to, it was almost always an adventure that they had to keep trying to survive and no matter what, never giving up either to find a place they could call home or sanctuary."

Haha yeah that's pretty much what I had in mind. Although the scene I initially had in my head was one person desperately searching for a sanctuary rather than a whole group, but whatever :P.

"And reading the description.... 49 instruments?! That's a lot of patience"

Well, my CPU had to certainly be patient with me. It was a pretty insane project file!

"and I still have demo and usually just stop after trying to get a bass rhythm to go with the drum set up which seems to overpower the bass or synth for some reason."

Haha, might just be because you've got "Fruity Limiter" set in your mixer's master track. Hit File > New from template and find "Blank Slate". From then on, use that setting and you won't get any overpowering or anything.

If you don't have Fruity Limiter on, then I can't help you with that I guess. It just takes a bit of practice!

That was entirely intentional so I'm happy you pointed it out. I wanted the song to end on a satisfying but soft note to indicate that at last the troubles are over. It was made to indicate that the protagonist finally found a sanctuary although one of the reviewers of this song got a bit creative and interpreted it as the protagonist dying and finding peace in the hands of death... which was a pretty cool interpretation, I thought :3.

"The harp reminded me a lot of Final Fantasy VIII when going to where the minotaur brothers were for some reason."

I'm not so big on Final Fantasy (only ever played the VII on the PSP) so I can't relate, but hey, you're comparing this to game soundtrack so I won't complain, haha.

"The bass felt kind of like a bass guitar but it was a cello instead right?"

Depends. At the very beginning there's a double bass playing which might be what you're comparing to a bass guitar, but at, say, 2:21, there's a cello playing. I find that strings are really amazing at giving bass and depth to orchestral songs, so in every orchestral song of mine you'll find that there's always a double bass/cello/both playing chords in the background.

"Very nice on the ears to listen to. Can just picture a whole orchestra actually playing the song actually."

Cool!

"The violins give that feeling of constant peace and strangely make me think of Kingdom Hearts credit music too, cool I suppose."

Haven't played Kingdom Hearts either. Yeah I'm not much of a gamer :P.

"The trombones, trumpets, and others of those sort make this song truly a joy to listen to and very nice on the ears as well."

That is quite good to hear because in general I'm not very satisfied with the brass my East/West Symphonic Orchestra Silver VST has to offer. Well I mean they're recorded professionally from real instruments so they're LEAGUES better than most other brass samples, and the French horns sound great, but the trombones and trumpets in the VST do sound a bit iffy, IMO. East/West Symphonic Orchestra makes up for that with amazing strings, however.

"Overall, lovely to hear how this one turned out, excellent work, looking forward to more!!"

D'aww thanks :3. Again, I greatly appreciate the detailed review!
