Alright I suppose

However the build up with the guitar and bass was very long and I could hear very light synth notes coming in slowly but not very loud at first and then it got louder and louder and suddenly the drums enter. Stage Set! GO!!

The drums sound pretty sweet here. However I would have suggested making the drums go a lot faster and be a whole lot more sloppy sounding for a cool effect. Also as for the bass kicks I would suggest a lot of triplet kick notes for an even more cool effect. The guitar riff is pretty sweet here and I enjoyed how that managed to turn out here anyways. The bass line is also very nicely cooked up here.

Overall, nice metal song. Good for a mosh pit.

Video game

I can truly see this as a video game song. Makes me feel incredibly happy but also makes me think of the Legend of Zelda at the same time with whatever those high note pieces are. I think this could make a great loop for a game. Possibly as credit music or a boss theme or even just a level that the player has to go through with. Great work.

The drums sound great here with the little triplet notes I hear. The synth sounds awesome but then suddenly not so much when it cuts off at the end sadly. Could have made a great loop if you had let the end segment run the full course of itself which is great. The tune altogether sounds awesome!!

Overall, great video game beat!

Thinking I should maybe rework the ending and repost it. Once I become ambitious enough. Which could be quite some time :P Glad you liked it!

Great piece

To be honest there was such a large amount of instruments used here I don't think I could tell what parts make this song sound good and what parts make it sound awesome. I can see this being used in a very old turn based RPG game for the SNES as well so you did something right here.

The drums and orchestra sound like bliss here as they start up the beat and provide happiness to the tune. The steel guitar sounds quite astounding and well done so not much losing there anyways, cool. The many other amazing instruments that I hear kind of just feel like ear candy and invite the listener to just sit down and enjoy the beat while the play some games and whatnot.

Overall, I feel impressed with this piece.

Thanks! You focused your review around the instruments used which is great because I find this to be one of my best in terms of instrumentation.

I worked on the drums so I'm glad you like them! Echo worked on the orchestra except the violin at the end and I can't seem to remember whose idea it was to use the steel guitar :P.

Really glad you enjoyed this song. Thanks for reviewing man!

Dark feely

This has a nice and dark feel to it as if you were stuck in your own room and unable to leave due to some energy locking you in. You soon find out how to get out and quickly work on trying to get out. Also this is a perfect loop so great work there.

The harp gives a light feel to the whole situation whereas the bass line gives it a dark feel as if you may be trapped there forever. I like how those two kind of work to cancel each other out in a funny way I suppose. Then the xylophone provides a dark carnival feel to it so that is also nice to hear.

Overall, this one turned out well.

You sure are good at analyzing songs. Thanks for your positive review. ;)

Sounds wicked

Well I can truly see this being used in some silly minigame where you run around on a skyscraper while fighting off things as well which is pretty cool. Also digging how quick the beat here is which makes it all the more better to me I think.

The trumpets sound awesome and I like how upbeat they manage to stay aloft here. The synth line is rather simple but provides a simplistic back bone beat to the whole beat. The drums finish off the song with their rapid playing and kind of make you feel the rush of wanting to run along a skyscrapers without the chance of falling off.

Overall, great beat, looking forward to the game.

Thanks for your positive feedback :)

Enjoy the game!

Smooth

This is quite nice. I can see it being used as a fight song for an urban town in a fighting game actually. You against all the guys trying to get a piece of you but do not even know you. This is going to be one heck of a fight I can tell you. Good beat, tells a cool fight story I suppose.

The synths blast away into your subconscious and make whatever crappy thoughts you have become a whole lot better as it keeps going deeper and deeper and makes you feel better inside. The drums and bass line are awesome but the drums provide a really kicking beat and I like that here.

Overall, this turned out to be a pretty catchy fighting beat. Nice work.

Alright I suppose

This seems to be alright, not the best but I guess it has potential for being a good metal song anyways I guess. The main beat and lyrics here kind of cool sounding. The main thing to point out is I can not understand a word of what you say. You could speak up and make it more audible to what you are saying anyways.

The guitar sounds good which is cool. I like how it goes back between two notes then switches to the main riff. The drums have a good rhythm going on here as well. The bass line is simple yet nearly unhearable here.

Overall, speak up a little more and this should be a lot better.

I didn't record bass for this song because my hand hurts when playing at this speed.

Also as far as the vocals go... I'm a shitty growler, so thats why I keep the vocal track at a low volume.

Soft brilliance

This is actually a pretty sorrow filled and dark sounding piano lullaby. I have no idea but it kind of feels like an intro to the final boss set of Final Fantasy VIII where almost all the songs in the final string of boss battles started out classical and each one added a different tone to the final beat.

The beat here is very soft and short. I like how some of the keys are heavily hit while most of the others are tapped lightly to keep in beat the main idea of the tune. This is just a real sorrow filled and evil sounding piano piece I guess.

Overall, makes me think of Final Fantasy VIII and Evanescence.
