Classy boss

I think you did rather well on this piece. Really seems to capture the essence of the boss battle without all the harsh and extra sounds from the original. It still gives you a feeling as if you may not get Kyurem as well since it is a legendary Pokemon too.

The piano seems to act on multiple levels. It goes fast which gives it a dramatic feel as if you had a limited time to try catching the Pokemon too. Then the lower notes play a great piece of the song that gives you hope that you may just be able to catch it as well. Pokemon are just a lot harder to get without a Master Ball too.

Overall, beautiful piano cover.

Calm

Surprisingly simple piece of music but it also relaxes your ears as well. It sounds quite nice too. Really enjoyed how simple her theme was, it felt as if she was just there to comfort you more or less and warn you of what Ganon was up to. Nice loop as well.

Ocarina-Kid responds:

Sheik's theme has to be one of the most beautiful melodies I've ever heard, which is probably why I get away with covering it in such a simple fashion haha. Thanks man!

Great rave

Well it's nice to see the piranha lullaby remixed into a short rave loop that never ends either. Really sounds pleasing. Would laugh if this played when they were actually sleeping too as it is just complete irony of it being played.

The synth and 8bit synth sound incredibly cheery and high up in the sound area as well. The bass line is truly pumped and kind of makes you want to dance near them as well for no reason. The drums are simple and help make the rave complete.

Overall, nice rave piece, I do like it.

Amazing

I have to say you really did a great job of making this remix rock quite greatly. I remember how hard he was then and he is even harder now as his level 81 Pikachu is now level 88 to retain the role of strongest trainer ever.

The guitars sound great here and I like how much they rock too. The bass line is smooth and audible which is good to know. The drums sound pretty cool too and hold a great sounding beat to them as well in my mind.

Overall, great piece of work.

Furious

He was one truly furious and frustrating boss to beat in the end actually. He was still a wicked boss to play against though so that is quite well done too. Really like what you did here.

The synth sounds quirky yet cool at the same time as well. The bass line is very nicely worked in here as it comes out and kind of just sucker punches the beat a bit. The drums are rapid and awesome here so I like them a lot.

Overall, incredible remake, great boss.

Good times

I remember playing it on the Nintendo 64. You could play as the Mario Bros. but Luigi was unaplayable until the second game came out. Really nice remake of a great piece of music by the way.

I love how you just have a drum roll going on the whole time in the background making the theme sound epic and dramatic as well. The synth makes the battle feel strange but you continue to fight Metal Mario until the end. I wonder how much more different the battle would be with Metal Sonic instead.

The bass sounds just fine and well done here.

Overall, amazing remake, nice work.

Best boss ever

Kind of funny how you have to fight three red dragons in a row first before you are allowed to fight him too. He made possibly one of the best allies aside from Eden who had the highest attack as well. This is probably one of the few tunes from that game I enjoyed as well aside from the boss theme, Breezy, Man with a gun, and the extreme.

The bass is very pumped and amazing sounding on this as it pushes you forward to try reasoning with Bahamut and eventually winning it's respect as well. The synth and guitar seem to mix together to make a wonderful tune that makes you feel strange and amazing as well.

The drums carry a simple beat and help finish the beat as well. It makes it sound dynamic too.

Overall, awesome remake of a great boss theme for Bahamut, King of the Summons.

Excellence

Well I must say you got the voice for him anyways. Should speak up a bit at times since sometimes it is harder to hear you sadly. Aside from that very nice Eggman voice.

DrMackFoxx responds:

I have to agree that my volume levels for this voice need some work. It has been almost a year since I created this recording and I am working hard at getting better at this sort of thing in addition to more experience with audio editing. :)

Glad you liked this little skit and thanks a lot for the honest review. I really appreciate it. :)

Cool

Seems to capture it in a real good way anyways so I have to appreciate at least that much of it anyways so I think this turned out well. The guitar gives a feel that you should enjoy the hardest challenge of them all in the game although some tricks have been shown to make the level easier. Great remake though.

The drums are very simple and seem to go from soft to pumping every now and then which is great to hear anyways as it makes it all the more better on the ears too. The synth has a real ambient feel, like how it captures that dark touch of the area and kind of has a funky feel to it as well. The guitar sounds great here.

Overall, great remake, great times. Hard level to beat.
