Well this is a pretty cool piece anyways. Did not expect that orchestra sound though. This is still a pretty brutal sounding fight song though, awesome work on this too.

The guitar sounds brutal and great, nice work on that. The bass is smooth and moves the song along in a great direction. The drums also sounded good, nice work there I think. The violin was completely unexpected though.

Overall, orchestra metal?

Orchestral metal indeed :) Strings might have come in too early haha.

Thanks!

Tough cookie

Well it does seem to have a beat that makes you think someone tough is walking up to you and kind of trying to annoy you but they aren't doing so well because no one likes them anyways and thus they are ignored a lot. Secretly all they want is a friend.

The synth has a nice space feel at some points but for the most part it just sounds incredibly cool and quite nice. The bass line is subtle and provides a good groove for one to enjoy too. The drums are simple and have a quick beat going which is pretty cool.

Really like it around 1:56 where it kind of has a tough guy breakdown and they cry and finally get a friend from being honest. Really great the rest of the way though since it sounds great.

Overall, really tough and cool piece that sounds great.

Hey, thanks for reviewing :D

I honestly didn't get that image when I made this song XD, but hey, it actually works :D

Very promising

Well I like to see this as a promising piece since it seems to have everything for a good song. Would make for an awesome final boss battle tune as well. Kind of makes you think the background is a very dark looking tornado that you are trapped in as you battle on flying rocks trying to beat the boss trying to destroy the world too.

The synth and piano make a nice combination here. They seem to flow well and make the main beat very nice to listen to. They give off a feeling of there is still hope as the battle against the boss wages on as you try to find a weakness and keep it distracted long enough to beat it.

The bass line sounds really nice and pretty calm as well encouraging you to not lose your head and heart as you try to beat the battle. The drums are cool and very nice on the ears too, nice work there.

Overall, very uplifting.

Mariiioooo!!

Oh yes I did I have some good times playing that game. Would be cool if you did a cover of the beta title track in the future too. It sounded similar but had a bit darker tone to it as well. This is a really nice remake though, sounds awesome.

The stringed instrument sounds great here. The bass line is pretty smooth and helps the tune move along, possibly a trombone? The drums are very nice and help give a good back beat for the tune too. Scratch and DJ sounds were also a nice touch. I think you did well here.

Overall, awesome remix of a good title beat. Now to go find Mario in the mansion. Also nice loop.

Happy

Well I can see how it would make one certainly feel happy anyways. It just has that tone of making you feel better after being sad as you head to the arena with swords in hand preparing for the tournament. You look around the area as you wonder who you may have to face to win and survive to leave the arena. You see ninjas, gunners, and martial artists. Luckily you know how to fight in each of those areas. However the first person to lose by not getting up and staying alive is the loser, the winner continues on to round two...

The drums are cool sounding and move in a rapidly good pace that motivates you to feel nice I think. The synth has a really happy feel to it though, it makes you feel like you can keep going and that no matter what that there will always be hope for you and your friends too. The bass line is nice and helps to beat move along as well. Very wonderful too.

Overall, I found this to be a rather uplifting piece that makes you feel real happy on the inside so that turns out really good too. Really nice and uplifting piece, nice work.

Pumped

Well this is a good racing song I think or possibly a fighting song too. It just gets you feeling pumped and ready to beat the game or possible battle you are in as well. Kind of as a Japanese feel to it as well, very nice there I see. The beat just comes off as amusingly pumped and makes me think of speedcore a bit.

The drums get you real pumped with the constant kicks and hi hat notes a lot too. Also what are the vocals from if I can ask you that? They sound pretty awesome anyways. The song just makes you feel really cool though.

The synth sounds great and has nice high notes I think. Then you got a second one playing liquid styled notes to keep you going. The bass is rather rigid and calming though so that is nice. Liked the windy sounding breakdown before the song slowed down for a moment.

Then the vocals take control for a moment before the song blasts back to full speed and stays real interesting. Really cool though.

Overall, very nice piece of work, sounds awesome.

Thanks for the 9 man! Glad you liked it!

The acapella vocals are from a "World Vocals" pack I downloaded, and the "Blow that Whistle" vocal is from the Hectic Bounce UK Hardcore and Makina pack.

Fun sound

This sounds like a really fun video game beat anyways. Kind of makes you think you are starting on a new level in the game and figuring out how things work while you play through the level trying not to get killed by simple enemies.

The synth sounds pretty cool here anyways. It plays a lot of cool sounding bits. The bass is easy on the ears and gives you a feeling of being able to beat the level without getting frustrated. Very nice little loop as well.

Overall, nice video game beat.

Pleasing

Kind of has a weird video game feel to it. I think this would be playing during a night time level in a forest or possibly urban area I think. Would be a great video game song though. It just captures the mystical and magical feel one would get playing a video game for the first time. Also kind of makes me think of Paper Mario.

The synth sounds pretty cool here since it has awkward high notes while the lower notes act as a subtle bass to make the beat sound good. Also is that a light whisper of a pan flute I hear in the back too? The drum bongo sound I hear is pretty cool as well.

The beat kind of just makes me think of video games though.

Overall, really nice beat.

You guys better stop comparing to video games I really like -- it's too much! Just kidding.

I'm also glad the auxiliary percussion worked for you, but I'm afraid I did not use a flute of any kind.

Regardless, I always appreciate your reviews. Thank you very much!

Good times

Reminds me of the good times I had playing the game but the aquatic level music always made me feel so weird and strange when I hear it. It kind of had a creepy feel to it I think. Remake of it brings good times though, it was a fun game indeed.

The synth sounds really nice for bringing out all the notes I hear. The guitar you kind of hear makes you think of an 80s opening movie too. The bass line seems solid and nicely done. The flute was a nice touch. Drums are simple and help the beat move along.

Overall, nice piece.
