L Blocks

That was always such a fun and simple game yet I never liked the -_ shaped blocks since they tended to screw me over a lot and make the game harder to beat (actually if one gets a score of 999,999 the game will continue). Very nice remix here as well, liking it so far.

The synth sounds very spaced out, trippy, and I like how it has a very big remix solo piece added or at least it sounds that way to me anyways. The bass provides a nice beat anyways. Kind of makes you think someone is playing bass guitar actually.

The shuffle sound is a nice mix and the drums sound great. Liking how the suddenly get louder near the end for a moment too. The whole tune just sounds great, nice remix.

Overall, cool Tetris remix.

coleknows responds:

I think i wanna try playing tetris while listening to this :3

Thx for the review ^^

Nice song

Really eerie as well too for once. Sounds like something from a horror movie I think. The tune would make for an excellent chiller movie piece as an opening or possibly where the demented chase is happening really slowly while the victim looks for a way to fight back in the environment.

The bass and chiller sound give a very creepy feel to this piece as if one was really being chased or something of that nature. I liked the leitmotif used here, kind of made me think of Earthbound actually. The drums are cool and kind of make it sound like a real fun piece as well.

The digital clicking sound thing is cool I guess. The synths give a strange feel as if you might be in the horror movie yourself too. Really creepy but cool.

Overall, creepy but good horror movie song.

Clicking noise? o.0

I'm not sure what clicking noise you mean, I can only imagine the hit on the bells was what you were thinking, but I don't think I had added in a click...

I'm amazed it reminded you of Earthbound, but hey. Different people, right? I'm glad you enjoyed it overall, and I'm actually flattered it reminded you of that game, as Earthbound is awesome.

I mainly meant it to be eerie and have depth, and apparently it worked.

Thank you for the review!

Kimono Girls remixed!!

Yup, I actually found that to be a beautiful sounding piece rather than haunting actually. Funny how from generation II to generation IV the only difference is they have Eevee forms that are at a higher level than the original game had. Oh and by the way, very nice remix you got going on here too.

The dub sounds are deep and very cool sounding as well. The synth sounds charming here. Then the bass makes it cool and gives a groove. The glitch sounds and drums just sound pretty great actually and I love how they roll in this piece as well, cool.

Overall, nice remix.

ElectroHarbour responds:

Mhm.

Also, didn't the kimono girl's play more of a role in generation IV's "story?"

I guess you'd hear this theme more often in Generation IV

Squirtle

Funny how I knew that right when I heard it as well. You took a pretty happy sounding piece and made it sound even happier with some techno sounds added to the mix of the song, cool. Really enjoy this soft yet nice piece.

The drums and claps seem to go well together and make this a cool up sounding piece. The synth makes it worth listening to and rather happy as well. The piano is happy sounding on its own and nice work there. The bass is also very cool. Nice work making a happy remix.

Overall, sweet piece of work remixing that theme.

ElectroHarbour responds:

Thanks, your reviews mean a lot.

I thought that squirtle might be a little TOO recognizable :P

Excellent piece

This is a freaking great piece of work dude. The only thing missing is some lyrics about fear and anger and vocals and it would be pitch perfect actually. Nice collaboration piece as well dude. It's off the walls too.

The guitar is a work of art all its own I think. Dan Johansen sounds incredible. I wouldn't mind being able to play like that after awhile actually since I've literally been teaching myself how to play guitar since day one when I got one three and a half years ago as a gift.

The bass sounds great here and I love how it maintains a very nice done groove I think. The drums are also pretty kick ass too so nice work on them. They just sound great.

Overall, awesome collaboration, awesome guitar riff. \m/

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks very much man.. I would also love to be able to play like Dan. Although, he is awesome to work with. He does have instructional videos on youtube. Motherfucker is funnier than shit. haha.

Thanks very much for the review...more on the way. ;)

Lavender..... Town....

Aw yes, good and sad times indeed. When I was younger the town theme wasn't anywhere close to creepy as it has become today thanks to creepypasta making it feel weird and scary to listen to such a simple and sad piece. This is a pretty cool remix, retains a bit of creepy feel with a dance tone to it.

The piano chord that plays over and over keeps this as a sad piece that kind of makes you a bit sad as well too. The ambient synth makes this a bit lighter and kinder sounding as well on the ears, pretty nice. The bass line and drums combine together to make this piece feel a bit bouncy and fun.

Overall, very nice little remix of a sad piece.

coleknows responds:

I was trying to make it scary and fun at the same time :D

Anyway, no one noticed what i did near the end of the song? How shocking...

Nice remix

Reminds me of the good times I had playing Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and 3 actually. Ice Cap zone was always a fun time though since the tune always made you feel nice and calm for some reason as well. This is a pretty swell remix of the area as well, nice work.

The piano ambiance I hear gives you a calm feeling as if you could stay calm the whole time while playing the level despite how hard it can get sometimes to pass the area. The drums are also relaxing and just seem to encourage you to go on and complete the level while having fun the whole time. The bass line is pretty cool and calm too, nice.

Overall, cool remix, lolpun.

coleknows responds:

I hate puns.

Thx for the awesome review man. I for some strange reason, think your awesome at reviews :P

Calming beastly piece

Well this has a relaxed feel to it I think. Kind of does make you think of someone sleeping and having a lot of weird visions as their dream goes on and on for awhile. Really nice sounding piece though.

The dark sounding piano was really nice and gives a weird feel to the song. I also hear a violin and bass I think. Very calming for that time though. Also I like hearing Fluttershy's voice followed by sword like sounds, makes it quirky yet awesome at the same time too.

The dub sounds make this an erratically cool sounding piece as well. The drums are rather impressive too, not bad. Really have to say this is a marvelous dubstep piece of work.

Overall, incredible.

Omnivore responds:

Thanks! After a ton of experimentation, I have finally found a good way to produce Dubstep.

Nice remix

Has a very calm feel to it for the most part and then picks up to drum and bass actually. Really neat piece of work though. Found that part of the episode pretty funny too since they were trying to mess up on purpose so she no longer had to do fashion for Photo Finish.

The bass feels real soft and I love the feel of it as well while it takes you on a little short ride of happiness that makes you feel better inside. The synth sounds rather awesome here as it plays a slightly quirky tone of it's own as well. Really nice area there.

The drums sound very pleasing and quick here. They just just sound great though as they play at a fast rate. The extra keyboard sounds awesome while it plays. The song just sounds really pleasing on the ears, like how it broke down and slowly moved its way back up to the full piece once more.

Overall, very nice piece of work.

Omnivore responds:

Thanks! Glad to hear some more feedback bud ;)

Incredible again

This band is looking freaking great so far actually. Hope you guys can go on tour next year or at least be an opening for a band I hope. Another great piece from Absence of Fear once again!!

The vocals are great and love the lyrics here again too. The lead guitarist (MetalJonus) is once again a beast wit hthe guitar. Rhythm guitar sounds brilliant. The bass kind of mixes in with the double bass on drums to give a lot harder kick on this piece. The drums are epic.

Overall, keep on going, it's great progress so far. You all rock!! \m/

AbsenceofFear responds:

Thanks!!!!!
