You're awesome

Glad I was checking the audio portal. You are the dude who did a collaboration with Bad-Man-Incorporated right? You sound freaking awesome here and I love the beat too. The vocals are killer, is that you singing them? This is one sick metal beat. \m/

The guitar sounds quite awesome and I love how it sounds here. You do well on the guitar, what kind are you using and what amp? The bass sounds pretty good here though so I like it. The guitar solo is killer here, nice!! The drums are also beastly since I hear a lot of double bass kicks which turns out well I think.

The vocals and lyrics are good and deliver a good message but kind of sound like they are mocking someone as well. Really good beat though.

Overall, awesome metal beat!!

DanJohansen responds:

Thanks man! Yeah it's supposed to sound like I'm mocking someone, they are Ninja Theory and Crapcom lol.. Anyways glad you like the tune man! THANKS!! ROCK ON!!!!!

Interesting

I was actually expecting someone to sing about traps (dudes who look and sound a lot like girls and vice versa). Would still be cool to hear someone try rapping this I guess anyways since it has a pretty cool beat to go with it all in the end. Beat just makes you think of Japan a lot. Nicely done.

The claps and drums seem to make a nice combination as they create an excellent backbone beat for the song to be heard. The bass seems quite well and I like how it seems to float there for a while as if someone was hitting the note and just waiting for a bit before hitting another note.

The stringed instrument and guitar sound good together as well I think so that is nice to hear on this one I think.

Overall, cool beat.

Thanks for the great feedback!

Hilarious

Well even though it does not sound too great I thought this to be completely hilarious and a good break from your other wonderful work. Can kind of hear where you are breathing in a bit too hard as well too. Would seriously laugh if they had used this in the movies instead.

Peaceful

Well this is a peaceful sounding piece I think. Would make for awesome credit music or music that plays after the final boss battle in a game is over. The smoke clears and you and your friends are just barely standing as you watch the boss fade away from existence no longer able to cause people problems in your time and age that you live.

The piano is a great start here and gives a feeling that peace has returned and that everything will be ok in time as people begin to rebuild society under a new rule of freedom as well. People smile looking towards the sky noticing the final boss that ruled the planet for so long is no longer.

The synth has a weird piano like feel to it I think which is always cool. The bass feels good as you hear it going up and down and providing a peaceful sound with it. The drums are also great on the ears and I like them too.

Overall, wonderful piece of work, sounds lovely.

coleknows responds:

In my opinion, this is one of my better songs. I think this would work well for credits after thinking.

Thank you now be on your merry way :P

Sounds great

Title of the song reminds me of a Nine Inch Nails song actually, cool. The tune seems to sound like it would make a great space level beat as well so you have that going for you here on this beat. Kind of also makes me think of Bowser from Super Mario 64's final level.

The drums sound pretty cool and sounds like something I would not mind learning how to play, just need to be energetic and have patience to learn how to play it too. The bass sounds pretty funky and very bouncy here as it goes back and forth on a beat pattern in a good way.

The synth is actually pretty cool and makes me think you are getting to go into a boss battle against the final or next to final boss in a game too. Kind of cut short near the end but it still sounds good none the less so I can say I actually enjoyed this piece a lot.

Overall, sounds pretty cool, would make a great video game piece.

coleknows responds:

I didn't notice that actually. It would work well for a boss song. I would just have to loop this in a better way.

Also, wanna geuss i called it this? It was my overall reaction when i was going into my "hate" phase of being brony. I was trying to ignore it by building up hate. But sadly, about a couple weeks later, i gave in ):

Thx 4 teh review.

Loved that song

I remember listening to it a lot when I was younger and had recently got a Now 5 CD which I thought had a few good tracks and horrible tracks as well. This tune is a nice remix without the vocals as well. I think this was one of the first tunes as well to start using autotune on the vocals right? Nice remix.

The synth makes you feel really nice and as if you were simply floating high in the sky with a couple of friends just relaxing for the day too. The secondary synth plays a really nice beat and I love how it manages to keep flowing the whole time as well.

The bass is simple and I like that little bounce it seems to carry in it as the beat moves along. The drums give a hyper feel as if it could make a nice platform game track actually. The beat is just a really nice and vocal-less remake of an old good song.

Overall, wonderful remix remake.

coleknows responds:

Also to the platform game thing, my music really needs to appear on a game D:
I have been wishing that for so long.

Well thx for the review (:

Thrash

I think this sounds pretty cool for a thrash cover of the theme. All it needs is some deep vocals growling out the lyrics to the song and it would be perfect I think. Other than that this sounds pretty deep and thrashed about like a Gyarados.

The guitar sounds good. The drums are great but maybe the hi hat is a tad bit over done I guess. The bass line sounds just right and flexible here. The drums and everything sound good though.

Overall, good thrash cover of the Pokemon theme.

Great cover

I have to say I actually think nailed most of this down actually. The only thing missing is screaming vocals to cover that part of the song. Aside from that this does sound pretty good though so I do like it quite a bit.

The guitar sounds awesome, who was playing it anyways? The bass sounds good and rather pleasing as usual too which is good to have. The drums are fast and very good on the pedals when hit too. The solo and breakdowns were quite nice so good work there too.

Overall, great cover minus the vocals.

Nicholls responds:

Hey Man, i laid down all the instruments for this..... Thanx for the awesome review man...... Get yourself recorded dude, id love to hear it :)

Peaceful

Simply for using the ocarina you did quite well here. Reminds me of how much fun I really had playing those games a few years ago on my Gamecube as well. Good times indeed. You played this quite well and it sounds awesome, nice loop and remake. Kind of loud though.

Ocarina-Kid responds:

Good times indeed! Thanks SCTE3, means a lot coming from someone like you. Also I didn't realise it was too loud, thanks for telling me I'll have to fix that up. Cheers for the review and kind words :)
