Much a story

Well I like how it starts it kind of feels like you are watching a movie start up with the text showing the title and such. It shows a person in a cloak looking over the city while a helicopter passes over him standing on a rooftop as they try to find out why strange creatures are attacking the city. He looks up and takes notice of them simply grunting before jumping off the roof and warping to the ground to get away.

The helicopter leaves and soon a dark creature emerges beginning to destroy the helicopter. The figure looks up hoping they can end it all soon as they run up the building towards the creature in question. Before he can begin the battle though more helicopters come thinking he was responsible.

He holds out the swords he created from his mind long ago knowing he must try avoiding the helicopters while destroying the mysterious foe as well. The battle begins but can he actually make it away as well?

I like how this seems to have a bit of an industrial feel to it actually. Gives a strange feel of something is going on there.

The chorus is very calming and sounds nice. I like the watering down sound I hear in the back that sounds a bit like rubber being flicked and watching it rebound a lot. The violin is very calming and well put too. The drums are nice and smooth as they provide a solid beat that keeps the mystery swordsman moving.

Overall, very nice story like song, I like it.

From your reviews, you seem to have a predisposition towards action or horror-like scenarios, by imagining them. I think your visions are pretty original and I realize they could go well with the track as well. Heh, thank you for the compliments and review, I can always count on the review request club (that's why I still have its link stuck in my forum signature). ;D

Chaotic

Just like Discord is!! However in the end, the power of happiness and friendship gets rid of him once more and nets that team a second window pane dedicated to them. This tune really has a nice feel to it. Would really enjoy seeing it used as a boss track too since that is mainly how it feels here. Like how this dubstep is not very heavy on the dubbing which can be annoying in some cases.

The synth sounds quite nice and I like the after bass effect it seemed to be carrying. The drums sounds really good here as well and have a deeply retro feel to them as well. The dub sounds are just kind of coming into the song and making it pick up in a nice way. Almost making it feel like a heavy boss battle piece.

Also like how it starts in dub and goes down then goes back into dub, kind of gives the illusion the song will end only for the dub sounds to come right back to your ears.

Overall, you should see the look on your faces!! Nice piece.

coleknows responds:

I thought that would of been perfect to add that discord clip in the song :P
I sent this one to seth and i have a strong feeling it will be on EQ daily. Its not going to be on here though sadly. Its soundcloud but still....yeah.

And you got what i was trying to do exactly right. I was trying to make it sound chaotic and random like how he is. I wish it was longer but god it was such a pain to make this though because of all the new stuff i tried. Now, on to the trance stuff :P

Seems alright

Although as I hear the whole piece it kind of just ... feels real generic. I don't really feel any kind of story and see any scenes being painted in my head as I hear this. Can kind of see a grassy field and someone falling up for some reason as I hear this one though.

The drums seem alright and kind of make me think of the Everfree Forest anyways. The very light piano in the back sounds as if it were trying to be creepy as well. The dub sounds were ok I guess.

Overall, not too bad for a start anyways but kind of falls on the bland side, not too bad.

thanks man

Dramatic....

Well this certainly seems to have a very dramatic battle feel to it anyways so that is nice to see as well I think. The tune seems to paint a scene as Hank heads down into a facility trying to figure out where everyone is only to see blood and as he passes by the screen goes slowly into one of the lockers showing Tricky had been asleep there the whole time and is now awake.

Tricky slowly follows Hank wondering what he is doing there. He follows him all the way down to his party room. Hank begins jamming out to the music a bit and notices Tricky's anger rise as he begins trying to smash up Hank only to make him smash his own equipment making Tricky even angrier and thus another battle begins.

The guitar sound here is pretty smooth and gives a feel as if a bloody battle is going to be taking place and no one will interfere as Hank and Tricky's battle wages on for what feels like hours even though it is only a few minutes before Tricky grows bored and leaves giving Hank a way out and giving him a subtle look that says never come back here again.

The violin feeling sound and the synth work well together to give a feel that maybe Tricky is not so bad and yet so misunderstood instead. The drums give a calm feeling as the battle wages on for awhile and gives a very fast paced feel too.

Overall, great battle piece I think. Also kind of reminds me of the Resident Evil video games.

S-Rock responds:

I appreciate the review bro. haha man I remember back in the day when Resident Evil first came out... that game always had me scurrd lol

Dusked

Kind of gives a feel that all is left as Hank is one of the few people left living in the world along with Tricky and the Auditor who are both living as one now only causing misery as they bring back henchmen to live as bloodthirsty zombies bent on killing all that they find in the area too!

The guitar gives a strange feeling as if living in a haunted area along with the windy background in place. The drums give a soothing feeling as if letting one know there will be blood and violence but you may just end up being able to survive it all. The keyboard plays a soft tune letting you know there is hope as you wage on with this abandoned world as you seek to survive and maybe one day repopulate the planet as well.

Overall, sweet Madness day piece anyways, soft yet harsh.

S-Rock responds:

See, This is what I want my music to do. Make people think. Make them inspired. You can't feel anything if you don't have an open mind, other wise pain is the only thing dormant. I like the way you express your emotion. This is how I win, and Thank you good Sir. Truly.

Wicked

Well this piece sounds pretty good anyways. Gives a feeling of a boss battle going on as well which is pretty good anyways. Hank heading toward the final two on two battle are Jesus is done with Tricky and decides to help you battle against him right before the Auditor possesses Tricky and modifies his powers that is.

The guitar here is pretty well done I think and the solo feel is smooth at least. Gives a rocky feel as if Hank and Jesus might not survive the battle though so that is going all over rather well too. The bass gives a solid feel as well as if letting the viewer know that Hank will be OK in the end even if he has to be helped back onto his feet using a gun as a temporary cane for a bit. The drums give a nice fighting feeling so it works.

Overall, very nice Madness day rock song, enjoyable.

ComposerKuandohan responds:

Thank you very much for the positive response, but I've composed much better, and the mixing is terrible on this piece.
You would be amazed at our new work, except it's under Contract, most of it. :P

I'll post up a new mettal track for everyone, a great one, sometime soon.

Clowns

Well this song has a very dark feel to it as if there was a clown right out your very own looking in at you with blood on their mask and outfit as they wonder what you will do next to avoid them. They see you walk out the room and they put their plan right into motion as they come after you. You grab a gun while they hold a stop sign with the stick, best of luck in this battle...

The synth gives a great feel that this could be one heck of a battle as you head up stairs loading bullets into the foe only to notice they are still slowly coming for some reason. The evil clown laugh gives a feel that they are only mocking you and your weapons as you get away as quickly as possibly.

The drums are very cool when combined with the dub and give a feel of madness coursing through the veins of you both as the battle wages on and others get in the way trying to kill either of you as this mad battle of nonsense keeps on going.

Overall, very cool evil clown piece, like how it turned out as well!

YouriX responds:

Wow thanks for sharing your vision. Of what goes on in your head when you listen to this song. Pretty cool!

Glad you liked it! :)
Make this effort all worth it! :D

Charming

Well here we go again with a superb Tricky feeling piece I think. The song just seems to scream rave and gun fire at the same time too I think. The song just moves along well and the dub sounds give a feel that Tricky is doing nothing more than playing around with you and just trying to have fun as evident by the maniacal laugh you keep seeing on his face.

The dub sounds are really soothing here and seem to just give the story that someone is going to be dying before Tricky is done because the clown has a thirst for blood that must be satisfied. The gun sounds and fire kind of give a feel as if they were an add on for the drums too strangely.

The synth gives a light feeling that someone is going to be having a lot of fun while all the others will not. The bass is quite fat here and goes out rather well as it gives a feel that something good may happen should you stay alive long enough to see it.

The drums are quite nice and good to hear. The ygive a good battle background effect.

Overall, greatly done Madness day piece. Has a bit of dubstep, gun fire, and just some fun put together.

Daydream-Anatomy responds:

Thank you very much for critique:3

Glad I was able to capture a madness feeling, especially centering around tricky.

Angry angry Hank

This feels like it would be a track that would play perfectly for a very long drawn out match between Hank, a whole lot of henchmen and Tricky himself. The vocals were great as well I think making this quite the endearingly happy yet super violent piece as well. Not going to lie, would sound great with a Madness flash too. This piece in itself seems to open up to a whole lot of stories going on.

The synth sounds awesome and I kind of hear a real light scratch from time to time as well which is pretty nice. Really enjoy the kicking drums too. They provide such an awesome beat. Love when it all slows down and has heavy scratching going on too.

The bass is thick and very awesome feeling. The vocals were also quite well done here and I love them too! The retro sounds make this all the better and kind of gives a vision of lasers being fired during battle too which makes it all the better too.

Also while all the violence is going on I can just see Tricky in the back having a good time and jamming out to the music with a couple of henchmen that have taken up wanting to be like him and even wearing the same mask he does with slight modifications to them as well.

Overall, awesome violent happy piece I think, very pumped up!
