Party time!

Well this is a great party piece I think. It starts out slow and picks up making you feel real good and happy as well. The song just seems to flow rather well and makes you feel a bit hyper yet calm and mellow at the same time. Sounds really good so not too bad here.

The synth sounds like something from a video game actually, nice. The bass is nice and I like the dynamic piano notes giving a dark echo like feel as if a boss battle was going to be starting very soon as well. The drums are great here and very smooth in rhythm almost never stopping for a moment which feels great to me I think and makes me pretty happy to hear it.

Overall, really nice party song, dark, calm, and smooth.

Calming

I feel this would be good credit music I think or music playing after a dynamic battle was over and only one person was left barely standing beside their friends who helped them get to where they were. The tune just seems to give a feeling that everything will be alright as new life is breathed into the person once more.

The piano is very calming and gives a sense of peace as you walk forth hoping to see what will become of the world now that the dark creature has been bested. The echo effect applied to the piano that plays after each note kind of gives a really light bass feel as well.

The chorus was rather nice and gave a feeling of calmness and peace as the person stands over the dark creatures body watching it take it's last breath before fading away into ash. The organ I hear at some parts is also very nice to hear. The cymbals were great.

Overall, very dynamic and peaceful end battle song, I like it a lot.

Orchestra battle

Sounds like a boss battle song to me which is pretty cool since those almost always sound cool. The piece gives a feel that you are fighting a near end of game boss who is optional but five times stronger than the final boss yet enjoys remaining hidden as they don't enjoy fighting either. The battle wages on for what feels like hours as well. Very good boss song.

The guitar sounds really light at times yet still seems to hold part of the song there too. The organ sounds rather epic and gives a feel the battle is in some kind of negative area as well. The bass line is good and thick while helping the beat move on. The drums are also very good here and nothing sounds wrong too awful much.

Overall, epic boss fighting music.

Neat

Well I think the suggested genre of Dance that you have it on is just fine I think. It does sound much like something I would dance to and makes me think of the Gorillaz for some strange reason. Kind of gives a vivid vision of a cat having a great time as they go on with their day here.

The synth sounds very catchy and lightly charming as it gives a feeling of hope. Liking the dub sounds give a stereo feel to the song that makes you feel even more relaxed than usual. The lighter sounding synth gives me a feeling of floating into the air without worries to have during the day.

The drums sound calm and well done here giving the rest of the song life.

Overall, very well done piece.

Pretty good

The title makes me think of Applejack and Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony as well actually. The tune itself sounds like it would make for nice exploring music in some kind of a video game as well. The tune kind of ends on a short note but I think if you added in some synth solo and some harder bass kicks later in the song then that would be cool too I guess.

The synth sounds pretty good here and gives a cheery impression of sorts that your day will be better tomorrow no matter how mad it feels that it started. The drums are pretty good and then that's all you hear at the end for some reason. I can kind of hear a light bass in the back I think which sounds decent to me.

Overall, I would suggest making the song a little longer and possibly not ending it with just some drum kicks as well. Not bad.

Soothing to the heart

Really like the ocean waves at the start as they get you calmed down and feeling really relaxed as you carry on walking along the beach looking for the answers to who you are seeing many buildings around you have crumbled away into nothingness. Very chilling song though and makes you feel relaxed.

The synth is really nice and has a nice little echo effect to go with it too. The chilling ambient higher sounding synth reminds me of old 90s movies as well. The drums sound rather smooth and quite calming as they give off an echo showing how empty the world has become since the zombies began to appear and many animals have become angrier and more violent as well.

The tune just gives a chill feeling though and I like where it feels it would end and then comes back up again. The backing bass is very smooth and relaxing here and I like it a lot too, very nice.

Overall, very relaxing song. Very enjoyable if just sitting there with headphones on, volume turned up and just closing your eyes while letting your imagination take you places.

I was wondering when a review would turn up. Thanks!

The song is definitely meant to be calming. I was trying to portray the peace and serenity of the ocean while the depth charge is falling down through the water.

I love doing basslines, glad that shows. It was a bit unfortunate, but I had to change the instrument doing the bass. The previous one was either messing up the mixing or inaudible, and I couldn't get in between those.

I'm glad that you could just sit there and close your eyes to listen to it and let your imagination take hold. There was another thing I was going for. I wanted it to be chill.

Doom and demise

Really reminds me of that heart destroying scene from Final Fantasy VII where Sephiroth goes mad and destroys the entire hometown of Cloud, Zack, and Tifa in rage and anger at discovering his father cared nothing for him and only saw him as an experiment at the time as well. You really seem to have captured that essence in this one too.

The drums give a dynamic feel as if knowing when you look into his new cold eyes that you will have to fight him again one day to save the planet from his hateful wrath after you somewhat kill his father who lives on through someone else on the network of an underground organization.

The piano also gives the feeling that this may be your last day alive as he laughs just enjoying the time of killing everyone alive and coming back later it feels strange seeing the town rebuilt with undercover ShinRa workers living there like it was normal.

The synth gives a deep dark feel of someone coming to kill you as well which makes you feel slightly uneasy as you look into why Sephiroth did what he did to you trying to take on the world himself with his power of lunacy.

Overall, incredibly wonderful covered remix, sounds awesome. I also liked the bells.

Not too bad

At some parts I can just picture that instrument being replaced with AppleJack's voice for those parts hilariously. Like how you added in her voice as well to make it even better. Sounds like the latter part would make for a nice boss battle or character theme as well so that is not too awful bad.

The guitar was great here I think since it sounded pretty awesome. The drums sound pumped and very well done as well so nicely done going in there with the though of giving her a theme in mind. The synth sounds very cheery and pretty casual.

Really enjoyed the pumped up drum sounds as well. The bass line sounded incredibly bouncy and quite well done as well so I like it a lot too.

Overall, not too bad for a first ever. If I had to suggest how to improve it I guess I would say replacing the guitar for a banjo would be good to give it more of a southern styled feeling.

coleknows responds:

i just wish i had a banjo instrument though D:

It would make it so much more better! Maybe i could use the samples but i remember saying to myself, "NO MORE SAMPLE SONG!" so i doubt that could happen.

Beautiful

However although I have never played Mother 3 I still found this to be a wonderful track of joy and happiness as well. I like the truly dynamic intro that seems to make you feel like some kind of hero out to save the world as well and I really love that a lot.

The trumpet and drums are nice. The violin and bell echo were very nice here. The dynamic drums are truly great at the start though so I liked them.

1:03 - You get a feel of overflowing memories coming back to you as you keep going forth on the quest looking for your little lost brother and disappeared in New Pork City strangely.

1:46 - The flute gives a feeling of piece while the drums and harp give a slight moment of piece to you as you keep on pushing yourself to a new day along with a new hope as well while wondering what the world has to offer now that Pokey has it in ruins and around his finger.

2:42 - You get more of a feeling of piece as a guitar joins in and the drums pick up a more dynamic feel to them giving that feel of sudden demise possibly coming to you. Also feels like the part where a boss battle would have been coming as the bass plays a few really quick parts here in a nice tone.

3:43 - Really liking the bass breakdown here as it sounds like a really cool solo to me and I would not mind learning it and then a sudden dramatic change to a boss battle feel as the trumpets, war drums, and all else gives a feeling of chaos and a slight party while Pokey tries to destroy with the Masked Man who you find later to be your brother that Pokey experimented on sadly.

4:50 - The dynamic boss continues on.

5:02 - Really like the light feel as the synth bell chimes give a feeling of hope wile the piano chords make you feel at ease while trying to save the world from Pokey and the Masked Man who seems to have powers only you and your brother were born with strangely.

6:00 - The second part of this truly uplifting boss battle continues.

6:19 - For a few minutes while the harp plays you feel right at ease yet real sad as if you were about to find out something really sad and terrible that had happened to you or a close friend. The synth chords give a really touching and sad moment as well which was pleasant on the ears here.

7:35 - Really enjoying the uplifting coffee break reference here while the sax synth plays a beat that makes you feel happy while it also has some incredibly fast moments as well which rocked a lot.

8:03 - Really cool boss battle feel here as the drums, trumpets, and synth all come together to help you get the idea that this is the final battle and the world's fate rest in the hand of you and your close friends who have come with you the full way as well. Also kind of reminds me of King Dedede battles slightly. Really like the fast synth build up here too.

9:43 - A truly dark feeling boss battle the the angelic chorus and dark sounding synth that sounds like it has a built in whammy bar plays giving a feel of fast paced battling against your brother who you wish to save.

10:45 - You have a sad feel as you had to kill your brother and help him to due in piece so he would no longer have to live in pain knowing what he was forced to mindlessly do without control. The piano and backing bass give a feel as you look to the sky that everything will be ok as time moves on as well.

11:39 - The drums give a symbol of hope as the beat marches on and the bass kick gives a more better feel of happiness knowing Pokey is forever stuck in that capsule unable to escape and harm or tell people what to do ever again happily. Looking to the skies it looks like tomorrow is the start of a new day for the world of Mother as you all walk out of the building.

Overall, very wonderful medley and I enjoyed and cherished every moment of it too. Really up and happy feeling beat that makes you feel good on the inside as well. Very nicely put together piece of work and I guess a medley this long would take several months. Glad to hear it and how well it went overall though. Never played the game but this makes me want to. Wonderful beat here really enjoyed it.
