Strange

Well it certainly has a very weird tone and feel to it I think which is cool I guess. The kids at the start give you a feel of someone walking past them not caring and going on their way to a meeting of some sort on how to save the world from some dark creature slowly eating people from around the world and coming towards where the person lives slowly.

The drums sound really nice and charming I think as they draw you into the story. The synth has a weird echo effect and gives a feel of something getting ready to happen as well. The bass line is smooth. For the most part every other sound effect I hear on this one gives a much better atmosphere feel to the song as well.

Overall, very nice atmosphere song.

Pleasing

Well this sounds rather pleasing on the ears I think. A really soft piece to help you forget about your worries of the day as well I think. The song just gives a you a big grin on your face while you hear it. Very nice piece of work.

The synth sounds bouncy and really nice on the ears as well. I like the xylophone I hear as well as it sounds pretty nice. The wind was calming. The drums here sound simply pretty good to me as well, not bad at all.

Overall ,soothing piece.

Strangely happy

Well it makes me think of video games a lot and seems to have an aquatic nostalgic feel to it as well as if you were saying good bye to a friend of yours for a very long time ans you both part ways to try to help out different parts of the Digimon world and that such with your Digimon friend who has been there with you since the start as well. The beat feels pretty cool though.

The synth for most of the start gives a sad feeling along with video games for the most part. Then the second beat comes and the new synth beat gives a feeling of encountering many hardships along the way and having to help a lot of people out. The dub sounds are nice.

The drums sound really fast and quite catchy as well. The dub kind of sounds like someone trying to say something though. Like the always going up sound I hear from the synth though which is great.

Overall ,very happy and nice beat here.

Awkward happy

Well this one certainly has a very awkward beat to it. I can see someone having been sucked into a dimension where not too much seems to make much sense and everyone speaks in reverse kind of like the inverted Moonside city from Earthbound as well. Very quirky beat here.

The synth feels like a bunch of lasers firing off to do something important. The bass is heavy and really nice on the ears I think. The synth then feels like a quirky line of music from some kind of boss battle too. The drums feel epic and while the beat plays it feels like they are playing twice as fast. The claps are also nice.

Overall, quirky yet nice.

Coming to save it all!!

Has a very dynamic feel as if watching three best friends ride together to save the day and get ready for a face off with the person causing everyone else problems as well which is pretty cool feeling on this one. The way the beat moves, gives you a feel of watching a close up of them all riding on horses or ponies here.

The drums feel very epic like and quite swell too which is nice. The trumpets play up a good tune and give a happy dynamic feel. The violins are classy and give a feel of this happening in time long ago as well.

Overall, very epic old time song.

Hyper run

Well I like the start. Kind of makes you feel as if you are going to start racing on an F-Zero track actually. Has a really futuristic feel to it as well which is pretty sweet I think. The song itself has a really happy feel to it too. Very nice on the ears and very pleasurable too. Nice work on this piece.

The synth has a happy beat to it that carries on into your mind as you feel like the world around you on the racetrack is going slower than anything else you have ever felt. The bass feels deep and hard hitting here as well. The drums give a great feel and the bass kicks are fun to hear. Like how a second bass comes in and acts as a partial solo part too, very nice.

Overall, very nice piece of work. Makes me think of F-Zero a lot.

Thanks a lot for the review! I'm ecstatic to hear that I could produce an interpretation of the music that way. When you describe it like that, I can picture it fitting pretty well into a racing scenario too.

Video games

Well this sounds like it would go well in a urban style level where you wield a sword trying to take on some zombies or creatures or something of that sort anyways. The tune has a soft battle feel to it as you explore the city trying to find out where the cause of all this is but your adventure is only beginning as you fight beside your Digimon.

The violins give a very good feel as if you have a good chance on the first few levels before it begins to get a bit harder. The synth sounds quirky yet gives a feel of something coming towards you as well. The ambient bass like sound I hear is also very nice. The drums give a dynamic feel as you keep going. I like the space like sound I hear near the end, neat.

Overall, great song, really enjoyed it.

Chill

Well this seems to be a pretty chill feeling piece of music and I enjoy it too. The song seems to uplift you quite a bit to where you feel spaced out yet happy as well. The atmosphere seems to be space as well.

I like the ambient bass line feeling like a plane flying over you the whole time and never stopping either. The synth kind of makes me think of a guitar being played and trying to help you relax. The drums have a real urban/hip hop feel to them as if trying to make you feel like dancing really which is always nice I think.

Overall, very smooth and relaxing piece.

thanks i listen to a ton of music and i think that shows in my more recent stuff like you said my drum beats tend to be more hip hop rock and melodies i pull believe it or not from metal thanks for the review if you ever heard the band boom boom satalite i really pull inspiration from them

Epibattle?

Sounds like it would be the song playing for one last epic showdown against some kind of super boss where you need to use everything you have to try winning this battle as well. The song sounds really cool and very enjoyable as well to me. I like how you did this one.

The orchestra provides an awesome emotional tug to the song giving a feel that you can win or lose this one. The drums feel really good and have a smooth rhythm. The bass line here is very nice and classy. I like the xylophone giving a whimsical light feel to the song as well.

The piano sounds really nice here and quite hope fulfilling. I like when the drums start to sound like they are snapping for a bit as well. The trumpets later in give a dynamic feel that this is it.

The voice was also nice.

Overall, great classical piece.

FaeryTaleAdventurer responds:

Thank you for your review, SCTE3!

Funny you mention "epic battle"; this song is a remix of a tune heard in Epic Battle Fantasy II. I did actually think this song could perhaps function as a reprise/revue of another encounter with the two-headed hydra skeleton boss, in a future sequel of Epic Battle Fantasy.

In my heart, classical was the best way I could think of embellishing the original tune, though the original was a mix of hip-hop and classical genres. So I guess I just tried to strengthen the symphonic side of the song, and have some fun with it.

Actually, the "xylophone" you were hearing, was perhaps the croatles (assuming we're talking about 1:32-1:56). Also, if we're talking about the voice clip @ 2:23 sounding nice, thank you! I wondered whether or not to record my voice at that point, thinking it might be a bit [too] random, but I kept it, and I feel that its likable. Personally, it was a play on HFX's use of a similar voice clip in one of her latest songs.

Again, thanks for fulfilling my review request SCTE3, it was greatly appreciated!
