Well I like how this piece flows and it has a great rhythm to me.
The synth sounds very nice on my ears and gives feelings of joy once more too making it all the better. The bass is basic and has a bounce in it making it pretty great. The drums are feeling a bit the same but I love the kicks of it too making it worth hearing again and again to me.
The tune has a charismatic feel to it making you feel better about who you are. Very good song.
However before I start I noticed the song ID number at the top being 455554, hilarious.
The song has a great uplifting melody to it. A feeling that there will always be that one person there for you no matter what who tries to make you happy and always feel better as well so that you never feel down even though you do sometimes. The tune is very nice though and I like it a lot too.
The synth sounds great and it feels like two of them are playing at once to make the main notes even louder. The secondary synth has an even higher feel to it as if a feel of great joy was there, it sounds smooth and there was no point where it felt off balance either.
The bass was a basic and the same. Would be cool if it felt like it was going up like having the notes go A, C, F and kept repeating on one of these songs, wonder how much more different it would sound. What is the basic notes pattern for bass here anyways?
The drums sound very nice and have a great rhythm too, nice work there on those.
Really got to admit, I like the cute remixed vocals on this one. It gives a feeling of joy and happiness to me anyways. The tune has a way of just making you feel good as well. The tune feels a bit erratic but this song is about perfection and how one can never attain it correct? If so it still sounds great to me.
The vocals are cool but where did they come from? Love when the dub sounds kick in though, gives a feel of it suddenly changing up to a very chaotic boss battle actually. The scream was perfect too.
The piano gives a calming feel as if all will be alright in the end even if things look bad right now. The drums are good and I love the tambourine I hear too. The synth sounded great too along with the slight bass line early on too.
Sounds a tad bit like something from Final Fantasy VIII to me although I can not pin point where in the game I heard it sadly. I do recognize the tune from that game though. Very nice cover of it though. What synths did you use?
Really love how this comes together. Kind of reminds me of older bands as well with weird music videos to go with their music too. Your vocals sound great though. The tune feels pretty good although there are mine mess ups. You make me think of the singer from Tool too so that's nice.
The guitar sounds smooth here except when transitioning to the chorus. Mostly since it sounds like you may have accidentally hit an additional note when transitioning on this one. The bass sounds smooth here and has a nice solid rhythm with it.
The drums here sound really nice and he sounds like a great drummer too. The guitar solo was nice, kind of slow but very smooth on the ears.
Kind of reminds me of the song Danger Zone and at the same time Earthbound. The tune sounds very nice though and I like how it feels like it makes you want to smile at the same time too. Jazz and funk are good feeling tones I hear from this song too.
The saxophone makes me smile since it has a happy tone to it to make you carry on and never stop doing what you love to do. The synth has a cool feel and makes you feel like better days come, at times it sounds a bit sad though, I guess having it speed up every once in awhile would be cool though.
The guitar is great here and I love the heavy crunch sound I am hearing from this as well. The bass is good and helps back up the guitar and carries a smooth rhythm. The drums are calm and have a great beat, love the triplet hits on the hi hats as well.
Overall, very well done collab song, sounds very nice.
I think this would be fitting for a dark styled game where you have no idea what is going on and you feel all alone too as well. The tune is just strange to me I think as it flows at an odd tempo too. Kind of sounds like it would go well in a nightmare styled retro game actually. Very creepy beat.
The drums are cool anyways. The synth has a very odd feel to it. The bass here sounds nice and backs up the wacky sounding synth however actually which isn't too bad at all.
Very nice sounding piece. Kind of makes me think of Resident Evil for some reason too. The song itself has a good flow to it that would make for a nice level song to get people warmed up for the later levels as they keep going deeper and deeper into the cave to find answers of some sort.
The aquatic sounding synth was actually pretty cool since it has a slight echo effect making me think of water. The drums are nice and the added claps make it all the more better on the ears too. The bass is light and has a funky feel to it that makes you feel all better too. The song is very nice too, looking forward to the final piece.
I like how it has that feel of you beginning to start a very long boss battle. The only bad and highly annoying part of the boss battle is you need to leave one minion out at all times or it will summon a whole new slew of them to come and bother you while it gets in cheap attacks at you to annoy you and dwindle down your health very quickly. Very amazingly done boss styled song.
The xylophone sounded awesome as it almost always has a rising feel when I heard it in the song. The guitars are very well done and sound almost as if someone was really playing them too. Anytime I try to use them in Fl Studio or the piano it never sounds like a piano for some reason, more like just some bass notes or sine notes maybe for some reason.
The drums sound incredible and I love how they have that hard hitting beat as if saying you can beat the boss if you keep coming back at them and being patient enough to wait to strike. The piano is nice and sounds beautiful here. Love how it gives a feel of starting up and ending the battle and all you have to do is keep trying and never give in.
The chorus is very lovely I think. The bass is long and ambient sounding notes too. The trombones are nice here and awesome to me too. When the all the instruments play at once it makes for an amazing work of art as a song. Great job here.
"I like how it has that feel of you beginning to start a very long boss battle."
Lol, another comparison to boss battles. I'm OK with that :D.
"The only bad and highly annoying part of the boss battle is you need to leave one minion out at all times or it will summon a whole new slew of them to come and bother you while it gets in cheap attacks at you to annoy you and dwindle down your health very quickly."
Haha yes you've just summed up most of the frustrating boss battles in the history of gaming :P.
"Very amazingly done boss styled song."
Thanks!
"The xylophone sounded awesome as it almost always has a rising feel when I heard it in the song."
That's actually not a xylophone, but you were close. It's a glockenspiel.
This is one of my first songs in which I significantly incorporated that instrument. I like the outcome!
"The guitars are very well done and sound almost as if someone was really playing them too."
Someone DID play them :P. I asked SBB to record those guitars for me!
"Anytime I try to use them in Fl Studio or the piano it never sounds like a piano for some reason, more like just some bass notes or sine notes maybe for some reason."
No surprise there. When it comes to the default instruments that come with FL Studio, well... I can make more realistic sounds with my mouth :P. Get this soundfont: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=V5YNBFRO (use this to extract it: http://www.melodymachine.com/sfark.ht m). It's great for miscellaneous sounds and with a bit of mixing they can sound pretty good. Far from the best, but leagues better than FL's default crap, lol.
"The drums sound incredible and I love how they have that hard hitting beat as if saying you can beat the boss if you keep coming back at them and being patient enough to wait to strike."
Heh, nice observation! I'm glad you like the drums. Haggard didn't but it's nice to know that some people still like them :P.
"The piano is nice and sounds beautiful here. Love how it gives a feel of starting up and ending the battle and all you have to do is keep trying and never give in."
Thanks, I'm happy you liked the piano. Being a pianist myself I always strive to make the pianos in my songs sound half decent.
"The chorus is very lovely I think. The bass is long and ambient sounding notes too. The trombones are nice here and awesome to me too. When the all the instruments play at once it makes for an amazing work of art as a song. Great job here.
Overall, incredible boss song!"
Thanks a lot. I really appreciate the great feedback!
