Good times

I do remember that song a lot. It just sounded so cheesy and on top of that the pitch change in the vocals was so obvious as well. This is actually a pretty nice cover of the tune.

The bass is very liquid and comfortably cool in rhythm. The synth is very nice here and sounds quite pleasing to the ears as well. The drums are the last piece and are quite nice to hear in this one too.

Overall, good cover, it sounds great.

Awesome!!

Highly promising dude. I really like the flow of this beat as well, it just sounds great to me and I am loving it so far. The beat just sounds real happy and would make for an incredibly awesome anime intro or level music. This is just great.

Really love the rhythm of the synth and how it aims at happiness. The drums are very nice and simple here. The bass line is truly funky and not to be messed with. The higher notes make it sound kind of spacey and like something I might hear in an anime.

Overall, incredible first piece!!

Thanks a lot! it means to me.
This is not my first song I made, I made a lot more on my YT account. (but really, the only good songs on my acc is Energy 2 and The Last Stand)
So yeah, thanks a million again~!

Sweet

Really like how this is a hyper remake of the final level in Super Mario 64. That and it is the same one from every Bowser level, there was what, only 3 of them? This is a pretty sick remix and I do like it a lot so great work on this one. ^_^

The bass line is subtle and very calm. Like the hyper drums you use here as it spices things up by a lot and makes things sound a lot more interesting to me. The piano in the back with an echo effect detailing the original piece is very nicely worked and touchingly beautiful as well.

Overall, a very sweet and hyper remix!!

Sounds decent

Well this one sounds pretty nice for a techno track so you did a nice job there with this. It strangely has a feeling as if you were preparing for a boss battle as well so that was cool. It also has a dark feel to it too.

The dark growl made it kind of weird but it still remains to be a good piece so I like it a lot so that turned out well in a lot of ways as well. The synth is completely jacked up and amazing here. The bass line is simple, wet, and deep, nice one. I also like the simple drum track playing here, it sounds great.

Overall, nice work on this.

gamergod1995 responds:

Thanks man. Reviews make sure that I'll continue makin music, so you should know that this made my day. And yeah, I was contemplating the growl. Well, technically it's a low pitch scream. So thanks for the review dude.

Resident Evil

Well this piece makes me think of the Resident Evil games. You never knew what was around the corner and most of the time the music sent chills down your spine as you saw bodies laying in different places as they had been torn apart. Then you get pissed seeing your mate getting eaten and decide to kill all zombies.

The ambient synth notes are very nice here and I like how they sound so that turns out very nice here on many degrees so great job there. I also liked the fat deep bass adding to the atmosphere as you stare around wondering what else will try to get you. The drums finish it off by adding action and suspense to the mix.

Overall, awesome zombie killing song. :P

Pretty cool

Liking the deep synth here as it provides real cool high notes that kind of make me think of Daft Punk actually. The tune itself is just really sweet all around and goes great. Very random title name by the way.

The synth used here sounds pretty sweet and holds a great rhythm there. The bass is deep, wet, and appears to have the phaser effect on it here as well. The drums are cool and greatly done here. The tune just sounds great for a house piece, awesome job.

Overall, greatly done house piece.

B1KMusic responds:

Why thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed the piece.

And yes the title was random, I was originally going to call it "My Lips hurt real bad" or "Slow Children at play," but this is the one that came through :/

Evil

Kind of reminds me of Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII actually. This does sound like a very dark and evil theme though so that worked out well anyways. Nice effects and all since it makes it all sound darker.

The trumpets have a very dark sound to them so that works out well with a piece like this in my opinion so nice working on it. The harp when it comes is very light and sinister actually. The bass like sound is also very cool here. It just makes it sound darker.

I think this would work as a pre boss battle theme as you did a nice job working on this one.

Overall ,creative and very dark feeling.

Ironclover responds:

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it!! It could work as a pre-boss battle theme, a plotting theme, or just as a main theme. I didn't use a harp or any bass. I only used the Cello, Clarinet, French Horn, Violin, and the Trumpet, as well as some sounds :D

Favorably bizarre

Very bizarre cover but I do love this one. It kind of just reminds you of how evil the original Team Rocket was. Unlike every team after Generation II they did kill Pokemon for profit literally as evident by the tower in generation I and Slowpokes in generation II, they were the most bad ass and evil of all team generations. Really love this cover though.

Really liked the funky bass intro used the whole way. Then the synth slowly comes in and reminds you that you are in a place of creeps. The drums sound cool and play it in a greatly amazing manner as well. The bizarre high sounding notes make me think of Unown so that is a nice reference as well.

Overall, mind boggling and amazing cover!!

VGSongbird responds:

Lol thanks so much. I appreciate how in depth your reviews are. And as a side note, Team Plasma can go jump of a bridge :D

Sadness

This just seems to be a very sad piece to me. I can just see someone having been reduced to wearing a cloak as they dual wield keyblades of sorts. They stand atop rooftops every night staring down at their old friends wondering why they left them. The anger builds inside and eventually a dark clone is born from the hatred, sorrow, regret, and fear and tries to kill them. They sit and wonder why they even bother trying to keep their friends safe anymore.

The piano is very sad and seems to embody sadness here. The violins also seem to be sad but also a bit angry. The choir was a very very nice touch here. The drums seem to have a feeling of a bit of excitement to them here. The ending sounds dynamic.

Overall, very sad yet amazing piece.

This can be a very... "personal" track, as one could easily relate his own past life to this.
A time to think when you didn't think, to meditate when you didn't meditate, to live what remains of your life trying not to surrender to your monster.

Nice voices

I like your various voices that you use. They all sound great and various. How did you get so great with using various voices? Also enjoyed when you said "cupcake".

PM-Seymour responds:

it's all about crafting your tone with how you flex your mouth, keeping it tight will make smooth, calm characters, while widening it will produce booming characters, and then it's all about controlling your vocal chords to produce a rasp or not. :)
