Yay for Scott Pilgrim

This sounds just like the original but with a different voice to it as well. I really did like the movie and now I have something very close to the original so I am pretty happy with how this one turned out as well. Kind of makes me think of my own escapades in my head that I have on a daily basis by myself. The lyrics are very strong and come out swinging very good.

The overall flow is great and fits close to the original. Great job here on a cover song. Looking forward to more.

Your own escapades? Oh man, let's hope someone turns it into a movie. :)

Thanks for the review.

Very nice

The lyrics sound just beautiful actually and the guitar slightly reminds me of Interpol actually. This sounds pretty good to me as well and I really am enjoying hearing it. You should try to add a bass line and drums to it as well and it could sound even more blissful and wonderful. Really like these kind of indie songs though as they are real peaceful sounding.

Makes me think of when I was younger as well and I slightly hear a guitar sounding like a piano as well. Really like how this sounds as well, great work here.

Interpol? Sounds familiar, but I'm not sure.

I'll check them out, but in return I ask that you should check out the Pillows. They're the original (Japanese) band that I covered from. Their title for this song is different, but I adapted it into English so it deserved a different title.

My mission all along was to make my guitar sound like a piano. Mission success :)

Chaotic and nice

The chiptune chorus at the start sounds a bit erratic but very nice as well. The industrial drums remind me a bit of Nine Inch Nails as well. The way the tune just flows seems to make feel strangely sad and happy at the same time like someone wearing one of those theater masks on stage.

The synth that suddenly comes in gives it that happy feel to it but it has a great industrial feel to it with the drums that keep on playing the whole time. Really have enjoyed this tune though. It was a great piece, good luck on future pieces.

Soft and chill

This actually has a pretty soft and crisp feel to it actually. Makes someone feel real relaxed as well. Could see this being used in an indie game where the person exploring another person's life or being used a in a sim dating game as well. The overall flow and feel seems to be aimed at making people feel happy about themself as well.

Also slightly makes me think of Plastic Stars by Freezepop. This song had a great feel and the outro felt slightly sad though since the song just cuts off to what sounds like people talking amongst each other.

Great work.

Bass

I can really hear a very loud bass on this. Has a highly upbeat feel to it as well. The overall beat and feel seems to be crazy happy actually. Somewhat reminds me of slaphappy song but this could be just as upbeat as well with a little tuning and modding done to it actually. This has a very great feel to it as well and I like it a lot.

Makes me feel real happy and as if nothing could keep me down for a long time as well. Great piece of work doing this song as well. Looking forward to newer pieces as well.

FF VIII

Reminds me a lot of Final Fantasy VIII when I was visiting Dollet and a few other towns that had soft feeling beats to them as well. Also reminds me of the ballroom dance scene as well. This sounds like it could easily fit as credit or town music actually because it has a great classic feel to it.

Really like how it makes the listener feel happy. Also reminds me of the older Disney movies with the voiceless credit music that was soft and kind of retelling the whole movie very quickly as well.

Excellent work here.

Cosmic Weird

The guns and all the sounds I hear make it sound very chaotic. The lyrics could use a tiny bit of rewording and working as well. However seeing this as a collab it sounds cool. The song makes me feel weird as well since I don't have a sister but if I did I might do that once to see what that is like anyways. The song just has a strange flow and lyrics to it as well.

Kind of makes me think of a fighting game as well where you play as a rapper and beat up other rappers. Pretty strange and good song though. Almost perfect work on this. Good luck on future collab.

Well the whole sister thing was because it's a diss track is all. Everything said was directed to one person.

Sounds soothing

Sounds pretty soft and nice for just a guitar song actually. Kind of makes me think of K-ON and Chobits for some reason actually. The tune sounds real blissful and happy as well. Kind of brings a smile to my face actually and I really like how it just keeps going as well.

The way the beat goes kind of makes me think it is two guitars instead of one playing and I don't see the timing off as one bit either since it sounds just perfect the way it is.

Very great piece here.

Ryanson responds:

Honestly, I used 3 guitars overall. it was fun.

Chobits? K-ON? I've only heard of Chobits, but if a cover of Justin Bieber reminds you of it, I'm tempted to watch some.

But yeah. Thanks for the kind words and the review. :)

Odd

Sounds somewhat erratic and like it was just a long loop with very few sounds even adding in to it aside from the synth slow starting add in anyways. Not really feeling anything with this one to be honest. The bass beat makes it sound a bit better but not by much sadly. This tune could use a lot of redoing actually.

The snaps don't really add very much to this but I will give some credit for at least trying to make a good beat. There are some parts here and there that sound very nice anyways like it could be a full song and then it comes back to the normal erratic beat.

Overall, could try to fix it up a bit by making the beat come together a bit slower and be less erratic with sound placement.

Clap and hardcore

Sounds pretty hardcore actually with the deep saw sound I hear along with the claps. I hear a spring and drums. This song could defiantly get someone pumped for some event or be used as tutorial or game music actually which is great. Could see it being in a Madness game where the final boss is either Tricky or Jesus madness guy.

Has an epic keyline and hook as well. Gets the listener hooked and enjoying it as well. Very excellent job on this piece of work, Really loving it. Looking forward to more in the future from you. Great work and it is hardcore.

SessileNomad responds:

you said you hear a spring, but im not sure what you mean by that, what does a sriping even sound like?

this might be able to fit jesus madness guy, buuuut music thats a bit more upbeat would almost always work better, it would depend on the flash
