Great piece

First few seconds make me think of Holy Diver and then it changes to a pop song and it makes one feel very nice as well just to hear it all day too. I could clap along to the song too. Could really see this song being used in a collab of some sort in a music video illustrating someone just having a very good day.

The piano and drums are great. The claps make people feel like jumping into it as well. This song turned out pretty well I must say. Very good job, looking forward to more in the future.

Hey there

I just listened to Holy Diver and it's actually pretty similar eh :) I always thought the claps were too loud, but hey, if it makes you want to clap too, then they've served their purpose :)

I like that you like my piano and drums. I like my piano and drums. Tell everybody you know about my piano and drums. OK Bye.

[;) thx]

Sweet spot

This kind of hits a sweet spot for me in a way since it makes me feel like dancing actually with some glow sticks all night long. This song just makes you feel happy and dance like but it also makes me feel sad and remember the past which I still keep trying to put behind me but I just can't seem to do it.

The drums, wah phaser, and the synths make this just sound completely off the hook and pretty sexy as well. This is one of the cooler trance songs I have heard on Newgrounds and I really do have to say, I am rather enjoying it. Kudos to you on a great piece of work and enjyoing the process of making a great dance piece.

Hey dude thanks

Sorry about making you remember the past like that but just remember that it's behind you and there's tons of opportunities ahead.

Remember that when you say 'no' to one thing you're saying 'yes' to something else :) Say it's saying "no" to the past, but saying "yes" to a better future :3

Thanks for enjoying my song too. We can share the head-bobbing together (I never been to clubs or raves or anything but I still love this music ;))

Great vibe

This has a really cool twist and beat in it. I can see it being used for a long psuedo urban level in an old game where you had to collect coins and fight a bad ass and hard boss at the end who had such a weird weakness for peaches. The bass and drums sound quite amazing my good sir and make me feel good.

The coin and other power up sounds make this a really good song for someone to hear and enjoy with their mind all the way through to the end of it. I even felt a bit happier hearing it myself. Would love to see what kind of image you would make with this song as well..

Overall, great piece of music, enjoying it a lot.

Thank you so much! haha yes, it could fit in that kind of stage! x3
I was about to make a video for this song, I'll post a youtube link in the description when I'm done =d
Thanks for the feedback (:

Sounds alright

The start knd of reminds me of the song "Not gonna get us" which is also a house song as well but for awhile I hear nothing bit a droplet and the synth and then a second synth begins to slowly come in along with the drums and give the beat a new life and meaning to it as well.

The claps make it sound a bit peaceful and for some reason I see a bunch of people just clapping to it and enjoying theirselves while a few others decide to breakdance and do the robot to this sick beat. The transition and everything is solid and the song is a great piece of head candy, great work on this piece.

DjAbbic responds:

Heh, never heard that song, but I know the style your talking about :P

To be honest, the silent claps (in the intro) seem to empty to me, like it's only a single person clapping, so I'll probably change that when I can.

Thanks for the review and the interesting things you can relate this to.

Solid sounding

The intro beat sounds solid with the drums and then adding in the piano and bass lines to it. Although this could really use some lyrics to it. Would love to add some if only I knew what to say in it. I get a feeling it could be a nice indie/pop song actually. The keyboard riff and guitar make this even more pleasing to the ear as well. Really do have to say it has a great joy and cheer feel to the whole beat that I admire.

I can just see myself sitting on a rooftop or walking along the streets of a city feeling slightly down because no one cares anymore and its almost closing time for all the shops. So I end up going to a pawn shop and playing the guitar. Little do I know that a major numetal band is there and they are looking for a new guitarist as their old one quit. I soon become admired by fans around the world for doing something I love.

Overall, a very nice tune, good work here.

Thanks SCTE3 you're the boss :)

I agree it's solid, but it needs lyrics. I need to find someone who can sing. I hope my friend Nicole will be willing :)

Sounds very good

This has a very nice tone and feel to it actually. It has a dark epic feel as if one was preparing to enter the biggest fight or problem of their life or they were prepping for the hardest fight ever in a RPG of some sort, possibly Touhou. The sounds I hear just sound really cool and yet eerie at the same time to me.

The sitar and drums sound nice. The synth and other classical pieces I am hearing give it a somewhat Persian egyptian feel to it, almost as if you were deep in the desert and unaware of where to go until some people found you and took you under their wing.

Overall, a very nice classical piece.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree with you that this has a desert-like sound to it. I composed the song with an image of a desert imprinted in my mind.

Glad you liked it!

Sad feeling

This just has a really sad feeling to it actually. It kind of just makes you feel sad that you had just broke up but then you feel happy because you feel a weight has been lifted off your chest and that you knew she/he wasn't the right one for you. The piano just makes the tune sound sad and some parts subtly remind me of Kingdom Hearts as well.

The overall flow seems to be down and dreary yet also happy as well. The tune flows like quicksand and ensnares the listener to stick around and hear it a few times and realize that there is always someone out there for them. Beautiful piece.

Stargenx responds:

Thanks for the review. It is a sad song.

So sad

It would make for a very nice song to hear in an ambient horror game, as credit music, or simply as lullaby music to put young ones to sleep and let them dream of better things, endless things. The chords that start to come in around 1: 00 makes it sound even nicer as well. I could picture seeing this in an anime about some princess running from home and eventually getting lost and succumbing to the underside of Tokyo I guess.

The tune is just very mentally pleasing to hear and it makes you feel so sad yet sad as well since this song could go well to a variety of videos actually. Very nice work on this, keep on making lullabies I guess. Looking forward to more.

Thanks for the review SCTE3.

I'm glad that you think it would work in more than just one genre, I'd never imagined this as working well in an anime, but now I think about it, I suppose it could work.

I'm very glad that it was pleasing to listen to, and thank you again for the review.

Sounds sad

This sounds sad and yet twisted as well with the lyrics as well. You sound very sad here, are you speaking of yourself or a friend or what? The lyrics just reach in real deep and reach your heart making you feel sad because you feel like someone is just dissing the listener as if that was how their life was all their life.

The scratches and drums sound pretty nice. The keyboard and extra voices I hear make it even sadder as well. I just feel pretty sad listening to this as well. Also I real hope you make it onto the mixtape, you seem to have what it takes to make it all the way as well. Good luck with your rap career.

Luke responds:

Thanks for the review.

The song wasn't meant to be speaking for anybody, but as I wrote it I thought of two people.
The first part, was my buddy who gassed himself in his car, committing suicide.
The second part, was about my buddy's relationship with his girlfriend.
The last part... Well, that's speaking for anybody who kill themselves I guess.

I made it on to the mixtape, got word from the guy throwing it together last week.
Thanks for the review, again.

Very good

I kind of got a Final Fantasy III feel from this beat actually which is pretty good I think considering how much it resembles and makes me think of some of the towns in the game as well.

The xylophone and wood sounds were pretty nice. The tuba sounded very soft and pleasing as well. The flute was rather pleasing for the most part and I think I heard a pleasing harp playing as well.

I can kind of visualize someone walking along the beach or park area with their best romantic friend or pet looking around and just enjoying the day as they move along.

Overall, good and happy piece here, loving it.

Thanks for the review, I enjoy reading them!

I've actually never played any of the FF series, I should probably do that since alot of people have been telling me my songs have a lot of similarities with them...

Anyways, thanks again!
