Peaceful

The intro feels real peaceful to say the least actually. The voice makes you feel relaxed and then the synth and techno sounds start to slowly reach into your heart as well and just make you feel so much better as well too. The synth drums are quite amazing and the glitch sounds are cool.

Hearing a lot of glitch sounds here but this is great. Kind of reminds me of Eden from FF VIII who was a bad ass GF as well in battle. The deep voice effect is crazy weird as well. This is pretty good.

Overall, a very good song and I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. Looking forward to more in the future as well. Keep it up.

Best review ever. Eden was the best GF(besides maybe Jumbo Cactar, obviously) Really appreciate the review. Helps give me some incentive to keep going :D Thanks so much!

Nice

the high pitched piano intro is nice feeling actually. Then you added some simple drums and a slight second piano sound. Then it starts to get a techno vibe to it with the glitch sounds and the orgasm sound was awesome to say the least. The flow feels pretty nice as well.

Almost like someone was starting piano practice and then other people joined in playing some instruments as well. Very nice sounding as well.

Overall, very nice tune, although the piano at the intro could drop a note I guess. Pretty good song.

:O A perfect 10! I'm honored :3

As odd as it sounds, I created the piano riff after listening to Boom by POD. It's like similar but completely different at the same time. <_<

But yeah, thanks for listening to and reviewing three of my songs!

Ocean

Heavily makes me think of the ocean with that deep bass and synth effect going on in it. The drums scared me for a moment but it continues to be an amazing piece as it continues on though. Sounds like something I could see in an underground fighting game actually or a horror game.

Sounds pretty good. Makes me feel like I might start losing my head really, very good song though since it loops perfectly, almost perfectly if you clip off the last 25th of a second.

Overall, very nice and weirdly subtle song, good job.

thanks for the review. i'm glad you like it.

Sounds pleasing

Why are you always just playing the guitar in these? Why not add in a bass and that such?

Well with that out of the way I have to say the acoustics are very beautiful and the lyrics are very, very nice as well. You have a good acoustic singing voice though so that's pretty cool anyways. The lyrics seem to have a lot of soul and meaning put into them as well making it sound nice.

I would have to say this is a very nice love song and I like it a lot. However your voice seems to get higher than it should every now and then but it sounds very nice none the less.

Overall, very nice job with this piece.

Thanks! The reason it's always just me though is because these serve as drafts for full songs. Glad you liked it!

Sounds good

The intro has a very simplistic yet nice feel to it as well. I like around :42 where you start adding in a second sound that sounds a bit wet at the same time. The drums sound pretty good too. The overall flow seems to be pretty good too. Kind of makes me feel like dancing for no reason though in a way.

It also slightly reminds me of those old retro games as well. I could see this being used a side scroller game as well which is pretty nice I think. Very cool beats though.

Overall, very simple, not much you could do to improve it.

Thanks for the review. Not sure how this track would fair in a flash but I would be happy if someone used it.

Ambience

I would move this to the ambiance category since it has a real ambient feel to it. Makes me think of Unsolved Mysteries since it sounds like music they would play. Has a pretty dark feel to it as well. Kind of makes you feel sad, lonely, and at a loss of words.

The keyboard sounds pretty dark and sad as well. The drums are very simplistic as well, nothing great or surprising at all. This tune sounds a bit lighter towards the end though. Makes me feel at a loss though for some reason. The bass and slight guitar sounds also sound pretty cool.

Overall, good job on this piece, keep making more good pieces.

WizMystery responds:

Well it might not be so ambient when completed. I'm thinking of ways to layer this properly (the end has a much more complete sound than the rest of the track). The loneliness in the first half and the dark monotony in the second will still be there, though.

The drums... I really wanted to force myself to make them complex like I normally do, but no matter what I did in the first half they would always become too loud and take over the entire passage. A simple 4/4 rhythm was all I could manage, but the second half is full of those good odd time signatures n stuff so the drums can get a little louder.

Thanks for the review!

Strange feeling

Up until 0:32 I just feel like I am on a train alone going nowhere. Then the soft dark feeling starts coming and makes me feel like I am playing Resident Evil, Half Life, or Doom and I see bodies everywhere as things feed on them. I get off the train and pick up the nearest weapons which for me is a baseball bat and a small handgun.

I make my way to the nearest safe place I can which would probably be a small house and get on the roof connecting the rooftops. I sit there for days trying to figure out what to do next as they take over the city.

The slight breathing sounds I hear make me think of Giygas though.

As I continue sitting there I figure there's nothing left to do but pack up and roam the states alone trying to survive. Eating what food is left in stores and trying to keep away from the zombies and other infected creatures.

I soon stumble into a large police station that seems abandoned. I pick up what weapons I can and barricade myself in for a few more days trying to get ready to move again.

Overall, a very dark and hopeless feeling song. Very nice and brilliant work on this, looking forward to some more in the future.

Thanks for the imagery comments! I do hope to compose music for game one of these days, and I really think it would be a fun thing to do. :)

Weird

The intro was kind of unfitting. What anime/show did that come from anyways? The beat makes me feel really awkward for some reason as well. The drums and synth sounded pretty good though. What was with that twang sound though? The other wet sound I hear is kind of odd as well. Very good but weird.

The song kind of makes me feel like I am defending a meatball on my plate of spaghetti. I don't know why I am trying so hard to defend it though since I am sure I have more hidden in the spaghetti. Very odd song.

Overall, kind of quirky, odd, and funny at the same time though. Nice job I guess. O_o

The source video is this old Russian cartoon that was dubbed into English horribly.

Anyway, I'm shocked that this song actually put you into a situation of any description, because I can't say I feel the same way. I just overall don't get the same feel from this song as I do from some of my others.

Still, I guess for a weird Dubstep song, I did alright.

Sounds alright

Sounds alright for a dance song but not very different from most others since it seems to hold the same beat style as well. Could spruce it up a bit by making it longer and adding in a few more unique sounds. Could also have it start by using the low filter pass effect on it as well so it has cooler sound to it.

This song sounds pretty good though for your first attempt at a dance song though so very nicely done work with this.

chmedic responds:

Thanks. I'll try using some different sounds.

Strange

has a bizarre twisting feeling to it. The explosions sound kind of like a sound I can make with my mouth and the main tune really gives me some nostagilia like I was playing Legend of Zelda all over again in one of the weird temples, preferably the Dark Temple where it was all strange and you had to have a special magnifying glass to tell what was going on.

The sounds and keyboard sound very nice though actually, the drums sound cool and the DJ spin added to the drums is cool as well. Very nicely worked here, still nostalgic and yet very bizarre as well.

Overall, very nice and strange piece of work here.

INFINITYMUSICPROJECT responds:

Hmm.. If I were to take of the drums and make more minimal drums it would be a perfect song for a dungeon or temple. Awesome thank you! <3
