Sounds ok to me

The flow seems to be good at the start with the buildup and then the voice comes in by bits. The claps kind of make it feel a bit more dancy actually and the voice clipping bits that are all over the place are nice as well. I like the bubble sounds I keep hearing actually. This could be a fairly good dance song if you wished to make it a bit longer actually as well.

Liked when Microsoft Sam said that thing in the middle as well. This is actually a good sounding dance song, really like it a lot. Maybe in the future you can make dance songs using the other microoft voices such as Laura, Kevin and others.

Overall, nice little tune, good job.

Groovy!!

This sounds like a really mellowed out loop of a Super Mario song actually. The drums and keyboard sound quite simplistic and I hear a bit of bass in there. Sounds like something you would hear in an icy area of a game or simply at the menu of a game anyways. The loop sounds quite pleasing to the ears actually. Nice work on this little piece.

Overall, it is a decent video game sounding loop or an elevator song. Looking forward to more from you in the future.

Thank you kindly Mr. Scte3.
Thats pretty much what I was going for.

Well thought out

This is actually awesome since I just roamed to the audio portal and found this fresh off the list. The tune is actually really raved and techno sounding to me which is what it is anyways. The keyboard makes it feel really nice and welcoming and then the drum captures the mood while the bass and other sounds capture the mind and ears as well.

The tune flows well, I don't see why you think it is lacking in potential either. This is just fine the way it is Steph. Awesome work on a jewel in the desert like this. I could see it being used as a near final level song in a long side scrolling game.

Overall, very nice work Steph.

Cool :D.

Like I said to the reviewer above me, I never actually saw this as a Rave track, but I'm OK with that lol.

Feels good to see that I captured so many things :3.

Well I didn't actually think it lacked potential. The older Work in Progress I made a few months ago actually had some potential, which is why I decided to redo it. The old version sounded terrible though, trust me.

If only it loops well, then. But I'm very happy I'm getting such good feedback.

"Overall, very nice work Steph."

Thanks a lot for the review!

Good remix

Tends to sound very ambient and calm just like the original as well. Song brings back some good thoughts on that game as well. The keyboard and synth guitar sound very mellowed out and nice actually. The flow seems to move along nicely as well actually. Kind of makes you feel good for no reason. The drum beats are nice when they start to come in calmly.

This tune just seems to be a very nicely done remix of the original. Feels pretty close to the original as well for me. Very nice job working on this little piece of gold. Sounds pleasant.

Solkrieg responds:

Thanks a lot for the feedback! And I tried to make it sound ambient, so I guess my goal was reached.

Weird O_o

I actually found this to be a very weird song at the start and then the buildup makes it sound nice. Kind of reminds me that old Disney move where Mickey failed at being a magician for Yen Sid. Very soothing and yet weird when the voice comes on. The very loud bass is quite nice to the ears I guess and the synth sounds extremely upbeat as well.

The overall feel is just getting people up and dancing and raving at the same time since it is incredibly upbeat but it ends up being too short for a song I'm afraid. Good luck on future pieces.

Bassmeisters responds:

It's an old track and I think it's nice when song starts up epic, and smoothly changes to a more hard and rough lead! Thats my genre :D I like to experiment with things to find my own sound hehe! :) I've never seen that Micky movie you're talking about, but I guess it is quite nice! After all Disney movies is dope!

Thx for the review - best regards!

Silent Hill, yes!!

That game use to creep me out all the time because there would be some spots that took me hours to figure out but this dubstep is really good. The loud electronic bass is really nice. For most of the tune the dupstepping is really nice to hear anyways. If I could change one thing about the song I would have a part added where you hear part of the actual theme by just using a keyboard and trying to get the same creepy feel to it.

The tune is a really nice remake, glad to see I'm not the only who likes Silent Hill as well. The tune brings back a lot of good and bad memories such as that part in Silent Hill 3 near the start where there was a dog on the plate. Overall, this is a great cover and remake. Looking forward to more in the future.

Tight remix

This is a pretty good and tight remix actually, sounds very good. Although I am sure most people are only familiar with that one part in the song that got turned into a meme after awhile. The dubstep in this sounds sounds nice and the piano and other sounds good. I think I hear a bit of an electronic voice in there as well. This is actually a very good remix, very nice work on this little gem you made.

The tune brings back a few good memories.

dynamism responds:

Thanks man, appreciate the feedback

Overload in rave

This is a great sounding techno rave song actually. The flow is making me feel kind of dancy again for no reason even though I don't dance often because people constantly begging me turned off to dancing. So I rarely do it anymore but I'm pretty good.

The main beat is really good. I could see it being used at a rave or a night club actually. The beat is just really up there and makes you feel good and wanting to be hyper as well. Good luck on future pieces you write and submit to the portal.

Shawnman51234 responds:

Thanks!

Sounds great

The guitar has a really good riff going on as well as the keyboard playing its part. Rainbow Road is always the funnest but most dangerous course since you can fall off at any moment if you don't time yourself with curves. The drums sound very nice as well. The overall riff and covering of the wii version is quite good.

Really enjoyed this. Think you could try some Paper Mario : The Thousand Year Door covers sometime?

TheJonnyDeath responds:

Glad you enjoyed it! I will be doing some Paper Mario soon but the current planned song (Attack of the Koopa Bros) is from the original. I'll see if I can check out some TYD stuff.
