Outlaw music

It sounds very jazzy but kind of has that outlaw feel like a new person just entered town and everyone finds them shady since they don't fit in just yet. At the same time it kind of reminds me of the second town I go to in Pokemon Colosseum as it had this kind of music playing except far more faster and jazzy as well.

The bass, drums, and strings all come together and make a very nice sounding piece of work to me. Very nice work that you have done here, keep it up. Good luck on future pieces.

Thanks for the review, well appreciated!

Glad you enjoyed, and the outlaw feel was exactly what I was aiming for, so I guess I got it right!

Cheers

Pretty chill

The beat is solid and chilling actually. The scream was kind of scary and then it just gets creepier with it getting bit tuned. Reminds me of those runners from Doom 3 actually who were giant and had rocket hands. The crazy vocals, and synth sound excellent together actually.

The drums and bass were pretty solid and helped make it loud. Very pleasing job here and not much improvement is really needed. Looking forward to more.

never playted doom 3, or any doom game, so im not getting the reference lol

glad you liked it :D

Funky

Kind of does have that funky jazz feel as if I had just entered an old looking club and people are giving me odd looks for simply walking in there. Enter the wrong room/bar much?

The saxophone, bass guitar, and violins, along with drums all seem to come together and it sounds great. Got no reason to not like something like this, it's good and kind of helps you feel relaxed and chilled out.

Would make for a great menu song or credit music anyways.

Terrible

There is no structure or anything going on. If you want to make a song with FL that is cool but please don't just slap together some sounds, it kind of makes my ears hurt a bit. Spend some time getting use to using it, then slowly put together a beat that sounds good to you (I'm pretty sure this didn't sound good to you at all..} and submit it so others can enjoy it.

as far as I am concerned with this piece, just a background effect sound, some loud keyboard space sound, and some heavy house drums all playing at the same time and being compressed and squeezed togehter don't sound very good at all.

Remember my first time using FL ages ago, good times. However please do spend some time getting use to the program and then try to figure out what sounds go good togehter and what sounds don't.

Good luck with making music in the future.

Better

Although the first couple of seconds are not needed at all. The beat seems to come together a lot better and feels more solid. The bass is a lot lower which is good but it still seems a bit louder than all else. I would simply suggest lowering the overall decibel by 2 as far I am concerned.

the song has a really nice video game feel to it though actually. The drums, and synths seem to sound more audible and pretty cool this time around actually. Nice work on fixing up the song as well. Good luck on future tunes.

Thanks, I appreciate your comment. I will work on it a little more!

Crazy

Well I have to say the title is pretty unfitting but this kind of makes you go "OMG" because of how freaking incredible it is for a loop. Sounds a bit spacey too actually. Kind of makes you think something very weird is going down and kind of makes me think of heavy chip tuning at the end where it gets quick and erratic at once.

The bass, synth, and drums make a weird yet awesome loop. Good work here.

Thanks!

Rocking

This starts out feeling real soft and then it becomes a great piece of metal that chew you up and spits you back up born anew to know what you are once again and not to be sad. The guitar riff sounds very good and like how it sounds crunchy as well. The drums are simple and hold off on their own as a cool beat to me.

The overall flow seems to come together and tell its own story as well. Kind of reminds me of Sick Puppies but this song is very cool. If you plan to redo it then you should try to add some vocals since it sounds like it would be cool with some layed down on it.

Otherwise, great piece of metal. Keep on rocking. \m/

Deathcalypse responds:

Thanks man! I will think about vocals. \m/

Calm brilliance

Makes you kind of feel happy yet somewhat sad at the same time while enjoying the tune. The birds, rain, and thunder sound very nice and calming in the background as well. The peaceful ambient instrument playing sounds pretty nice as well.

Have to say that overall though, this is a calm yet brilliant song. Just makes you feel really good about yourself for some reason. Can't wait to hear more as well.

Very good remake

This sounds very close to the original actually. I thought the song was called something else though but I guess it was just me then. The drums and synth come togehter and make a successful boss song. The bass and orchestra sound kick in and then you get reminded of just how hard and annoying it was to beat Kefka who was pretty much insane all along and absorbing the espers for no reason.

This is an excellent piece though and I commend you for that much. Thanks for bringing back a few good and hard memories of Kefka during the final battle. I really am looking forward to more songs from you. Keep having fun with them.

HighwindLegend responds:

Actually, Kefka is from FF6, but thanks all the same lol!
