What plug-in did you end up using for the synth? Could see this being used in a house level. I don't think it would be too out of place for those indie RPGMaker games that occur in haunted houses.

ah i knew i shoulda put that in the description. for the synth that plays through the whole track, its magical8bit plugin, so its basically just playing a basic ass square wave, albeit with some FL Studio effects on top of it. For the chime sorta stuff that plays a minute or so into it, its either Keyzone Classic on the electric preset, or Dexed on the 4th preset which I cant remember what it was, maybe Pharoh?

Either way all these plugins are free, and I updated the description with links to everything I used

This sounds so damn good. :o Reminds me of when I played these games, funnily enough; a lot of people speculate Route 10 is a remix of Run Dog Run from Mother 3. :)

Nothing seems out of place and the song just hits you with a lot of nostalgia, great work!

Damn is this good. Seems perfect for a fast paced space level. Not hearing a single beat that could be improved. Keep making great stuff, would like to hear another track like this! :D

Seems you had a lot of fun making this. Not hearing much I would recommend changing aside from a slight increase in volume. Sounds like either a victory song or a first level type of song. :D

Hell yea, great cover :D

Spent so much time trying to get all the GFs and cards. Final Boss took me awhile due to having a scratched 4th disc. :(

I hope FF 8 gets a remake someday, it is pretty underrated.

The audio is far too quiet, you can barely hear the song itself without turning up the volume really high.

The ambient background helps a lot. The main rhythm does not seem to have any flaws to it. Kind of wish this tune was longer though.

A podcast with three artists I am following on Newgrounds? Pretty damn sweet!

I agree with what @GoodL suggested, if nsfw artists are willing to do interviews as long as they have their voices modified, there might be some who would be willing to do interviews.

On a topic from earlier in the podcast, Newgrounds and Deviantart have pretty different rulesets for NSFW from what I remember, while you can show bodily fluids (semen and whatnot) on Newgrounds, Deviantart does not allow that or allow showing characters engaging in the act of sex oddly.

Great roundtable interview with everyone and sad to hear that even in the pixel art community, some people just like to be overly nitpicky assholes about what art program was used for making pixel art / gifs. :(

Looking forward to the next podcast and seeing who or what group of users get interviewed. :D
