Calm

Well I enjoyed this piece as the piano seemed to carry on a very nice and solid beat of its own. Kind of reminded me of the Final Fantasy VIII Griever battle in a way as well since the piano there sounded a bit heavy as well. Also just sounds like a dramatically sad boss battle piece though.

The piano seems calm as the tune carries on. I also see that it loops rather well leaving no thought that it loops but rather just sounds endless and well composed. Very well done.

Overall, calming and dramatic piano piece.

Thanks SCTE3!

This is the first proper piece I've composed in ages and really enjoyed it. Making atmospheres and stuff is fun but you can't beat making a good melody! I don't know the piece from that boss battle I'll have to check it out. I haven't listened to a lot of the final fantasy stuff actually.

I wanted to leave a bit of suspence at the end to try and get people to listen to it again. Thanks for the kind words and long live RRC!

Steady

Well I like this as it sounds very steady moving and kind of reminds me of the final battle in Paper Mario actually which is pretty cool I guess. Sounds like a really retro boss battle theme so this seems to go well while it is being heard as well. The tune seems to give a feeling of hope as you rush at the boss hoping to win in the final showdown here too.

The guitar sounds very nice and quite smooth too. The piano gives you a calm feel as you go forth hoping not to get crushed or harmed as the battle rolls onward. The bass sounds quite thick and gives a great feel to the song as well. The drums help finish the song with a nice sounding sweet beat here as well.

Overall, very boss like song, quite enjoyable as well.

It does seem like a VG boss song, doesn't it? Not exactly what I was going for, but it sure would sound neat that way too.
The piano was a sort of derivative of me messing around on the keyboard, although with more sustain. Bass was intended to be thick, I'm glad it was.
Thanks for the review, dude! :D

Groove move

Starting up it sounds like something you would really enjoy partying to I think. Very well done party piece I think. The metal voice was kind of freaky I think but it helps move the piece along and keep it from slowing down as well. Kind of reminds me of a few funk pieces for some reason. Enjoyed how after the countdown it calmed down for a bit and then became a full blown party piece. Very well done techno piece.

The synth is awesome and love the latter of the song when multiple synths are all pulsing at once making you think of some sort of organic party machine I think. The bass was also pumped up I think. The drums helps finish the piece up and make it a pure party like song that also makes you think of raves as well, very well done and awesome party song.

Overall, awesome party song, weird metal voice but it makes it all the more awesome to hear I think.

Awesome :D

The metal voice is just some samples from Blutonium Boy Samples V2, that I stretched and distorted.

Thanks!

Haha awesome! Yeah, I EQ'd the bass patterns for the kick, and the low bass for the track itself.

Glad you liked this man :D

Pretty chill

Well this is a nice piece of work although the title kind of misled me a bit but whatever I guess. Was expecting it to be hip hop, heh. The tune is pretty nice though right when it changes up to full blown dubstep as well so not bad at well, very well done and high up on being a sweetly done piece. Would make for a great boss battle piece I think.

The synths and drums make a nice combo and blast your ears with a very happy beat that makes you feel rather moved and quite completely in joy too. The bass line is also cool. Like when the voice comes up and makes the transition to dubstep here which was great.

The dub sounds kind of make you think of gun shots at two people getting mad at each other for no real reason as well which is OK I guess as long as they don't do anything majorly bad.

Overall, nice dubstep beat.

Calm

This piece seems to have a very calm and light tone to it as if you were watching moonlight simply reflect on the water before you as well. You hear smaller sounds around but nothing seems to be out of place either here. Very blissful and calm tune of happiness I think, I liked it a lot, nice work. Would be nice calm background music for someone writing a story I think.

The xylophones here are very light and lullaby-like in a way too as if caressing you to simply fall asleep and dream of new days to come as well while you relax and fall asleep. The vibraphones and marimbas are also calm here and give a nice atmosphere as well. No idea what the glockenspiel is sadly but I know it is there somewhere eluding my thoughts.

Overall, very calm and happy sounding piece, it also loops well, very nice.

Groovy?

Well the intro seemed a bit repetitive but still nice sounding once the tune starts moving forward a bit. Sounds like a space level song or a space boss song as well which is pretty interesting I would say. The one sound kind of makes me think of someone saying someone's name here. The tune itself seems to be quite nice sounding though.

The drums seem to be the bread and butter of the song playing something the entire time here which seems to go well. Then the synth adds some life to the song by giving a smooth rhythm and tune for the drums to play with. The bass seems a bit wet which is also nice I think so that works I think. Then you got that one weird sound that just sounds like something saying someone's name strangely.

Overall, a very interesting piece, I think I could dance and relax to it, nice.

Thanks for the review, SCTE3! ^_^

I'm glad you found it groovy. That's the vibe I was going for. Repetition is sometimes a good thing, but you have to balance it with variation I think to make a good song. I'm glad you found the tune nice sounding too.

I spent a lot of time mixing the drums. This was mainly an exercise on how to make a pumpin' Electro House beat, where the drums are usually the bread and butter for the song. I used a bit of gated reverb on the bass, I'm not sure if it helped, I might experiment with that.

Thanks for your interest, and complimenting the song's danceability. That's one of the main aims of my music, that it's danceable :)

Interesting lyrics

Well those are some interesting lyrics. Nice how the guitar in the background is simply the solo of Crazy Train, cool. Although with everything else here your voice kind of makes me think of Eminem but a bit younger, cool.

Yay for dancing

Well this has kind of a robotic step added into it which seems pretty nice I think. The tune is cheery and just seems to make you wish you were dancing as well which is pretty great I think. Some parts remind me of the Numa Numa song as well which is pretty neat anyways. The tune has a robotic feel to it though that still makes you want to dance though which is great.

The synth seems to hold a simple beep sound to it while the other one helps produce a chaotic beat that seems to get stranger with each passing second. No idea why but you keep feeling like it is going to change to dubstep at any second, very nice cliffhanging I think, very absurd and sweet.

The bass line is nice but the main synth beat is still awesome and the leitmotifs are also great. The drums hold a simple beat and help you move along while you enjoy the piece as well I think. Very interesting cliffhanging piece that keeps making you think dubstep the whole time as well, nicely done there.

Towards the end the synth kind of makes me think of a guitar.

Overall, very cool piece of work, kinds of gives you an adrenaline rush too.

Odd

When it starts out I just hear some wind as if a storm was approaching or low clouds or a plane were passing by. You look around the city and see most of the people have died due to the T-Virus spreading there. You hear coughing and other sounds there beginning to form each night. You notice them as moans and wonder if you may be next.

As the synth starts up it kind of begins to paint an even creepier atmosphere here when paired with the light sound of drums too. You wake up the next morning to see more people are dead or have tried to get away from the place in order to get away from the virus. You head to the local stores and notice some things are no longer in stock.

You pick up some guns and ammunition along with some new clothes. You feel slightly embarrassed as you put on some female clothing as they are the only things there big enough to old all the guns and ammo for you. You decide why not and go hunting for make up and what not too in case you got scars and such so you can cover them up.

As the background wind fades and the synth begins to pick up more with the bass and slight drum feel with a light buzzing sound you get more of a lonely feel to the town. You roam around and see many people either cowering fear and scared or being mauled by the zombies beginning to take over the city. You stay quiet for now in hopes that they won't hear you and come after you. You grab a pair of binoculars and see they have night vision on them as well.

You head to the local mall and go to the top scouring the city to see if there would be any escape points you could take. You notice the occasional zombie here or there at the mall parking lot and thankfully they do not look up to notice you there. You see a motorcycle in the parking lot that may have a full thing of gas in it. You decide that it would be your best chance of getting out alive.

You head down to it and break the neck of a couple of zombies trying to draw as little attention as possible to yourself. You start up the bike and see a few zombies run to you, you shoot them and ride off crying a bit as you exit the city knowing you have to leave what friends or dead friends now that you once had behind.

You go to a local gas station and thankfully there are no zombies there at all. You fill up the bike with fuel and begin to move on hoping that you encounter no problems along the way as well.

As the wind sound picks back up around 8:30 you look inside the station for food and eat what little food that hasn't been gotten yet and notice no one is in there anywhere and use the restroom as well. You head back out and can hear moans in the distance as you begin to see the zombies are going elsewhere looking for flesh to feast on mindlessly. You wonder if there is hope left for the world as you get on the bike and head onto somewhere new in hopes you can get some new clothes and possibly not run into any zombies as well.

You get near a new city and notice that there are no zombies there at all and notice someone has done been there and killed them all with headshots leaving you with no worries. You head to the local store and look for ammunition and whatever else you can stock up on. You look through the clothes and get nothing deciding that you have worn the one set of clothes so long that you have simply gotten used to wearing them.

You go back outside and see ominous looking clouds and still hearing moans, you decide that you need to keep moving. You get back on the bike with some new weapons and look around before deciding it times to leave the city and hope the next one might have survivors who won't try to kill you when you approach and offer them help like the last couple of towns have done to you. You look forward starting up the bike and move forward with your life knowing these may be your final days alive as you look for hope, food, shelter, and answers as to where this all began.

Overall, good piece I think for a zombie apocalypse styled movie, very dark atmosphere styled piece.

I think the whole desolate isolation feel is a popular theme in this song. It would be interesting to see this used in a sort of isolated adventure film, yet the character is purposely isolating himself. It's like the character enjoys the isolation; enjoys that dark atmosphere. I appreciate the story! :)
