Pretty sweet

Well I like how it makes me think of candy anyways and the beat is pretty nice as well as it builds up into dubstep very calmly. Would not mind seeing this used in some kind of calm flash anyways. The piece seems to make you feel happy just hearing it I think which is pretty nice I think.

The dub sounds were real enjoyable and I like how it stays light for the most part too since it doesn't give a feeling of being overwhelmed. Then I hear a slight voice thing coming in too giving a feel of being in a place of great relaxation too.

The synth was very nice on the ears and I liked that a lot too. The female vocals were cool anyways, kind of felt like you were watching her relax. The dub bass was cool actually. The drums give the final piece here to make this a great work of art I think, nice job there.

Overall, very creative peaceful dubstep song.

Haha, candy eh? :D I would also like to see this in a puzzle game or something, would sit well I think. Glad to hear it took you to a happy place. :)

Aye, I'm new to dubstep so I used a few loops and programmed in some fills & automation to achieve the beat.

I was indeed going for a more peaceful style of song. I like dreamscapes with big ambience and uplifting harmonies. Dubstep is not generally about those things so it was fun mixing it up.

Thanks for the review, SCTE3. :)

Uprising, yay

This has a pretty cool feel to it actually. Almost feels like some twisted carnival ride remixed into a boss battle song to make you feel a bit weird while the boss battles you with radio music....also reminds me of the desert them from Earthbound with the radio beat keep coming in and out.

The bass is very funky and enjoyable to me and I enjoy it rather much too. The drums are heavy hitting and pretty cool sounding as well. The saxophone with the radio filter sounds pretty cool to me and very funky as well. Very well composed beat though. I enjoyed it.

Overall, funky!!

Thanks for the review! Yeah, it does kind of sound like a carnival ride. I haven't played Earthbound, but I'll try and find that song.

Great cover

Well I like how you took the song and made it completely classical and fun to enjoy once again too. Very nice song I think. I really enjoy it. Not an entirely large amount I can say as it is just classy too. The song gives a feeling of hope actually.

The violin gives a feel of hope and love. The drums make you even happier. The bass vocals I hear give a feeling of fun being had all the night as well. I really enjoy this cover of Avast your Ass. Only been out for about a year and look at all these amazing covers of it. Loved the constant rising feel part and it felt like it was so magical as well.

Overall, splendidly classical cover.

Thanks for the review! I think classical covers may become my thing. If only I could think of something original :/

Great cover

This sounds pretty close to the original actually except no wind in the background thankfully making the song all that much better. The tune feels like it gets the main overdrive from the drums too I think making it cool to enjoy. Great cover.

The drums are very dynamic and the tune has a mixed boss feeling about it as well too actually. The violin gives a calm feeling that even though the weather is harsh you can make it to the other side and continue on fighting for Spira and stop Sin once more from destroying the planet. The chorus, bass, and synth I partly hear give a feel of heroic deeds happening too.

Overall, lovely cover, reminds me of how much fun I had playing the game.

Thank you man! I can always count on the RRC.
I had a great time with FFX, I recall, and this is but a little tribute to a great game, not to mention the composers.

Mystery Jazz

Reminds me of Final Fantasy VIII a lot actually since they played a lot of music like this for most places where you were embarking on an adventure at actually. Very classy jazz feeling song though making it all pretty cool I think. The tune is pretty nice and retro in aspect though so good work there.

The bass has a very funky feel to it giving the song a cool feel to it. The drumming thing I hear whirring about gives a feel that something is flying past overhead as well. The chorus gives a feel of dynamic things taking place too. The crystal bell like sounds give a feel of cool things. I also liked the guitar that was added giving the song a touch of rock to it.

Overall, neat song.

Dancing!

Well this feels like a pretty cool dance beat and I really enjoy it as well. Not quite sure what Kuduro is sadly. Care to explain that anyways? The beat is pretty sick and makes you feel like dancing calmly while enjoying the light show on stage that the artist has got going for people. The tune is pretty cool though so I enjoy it.

The synth has a little bounce in it as it repeats and goes up and down in rhythm making it stay calm feeling the whole time. Then the aquatic backup bass gives a feel of rising up too. The constant rising feel of the song feels like an illusion on the ears and I really enjoy that too. The drums here are also very cool and calm in rhythm. The bass is lingering in the back and helping this beat move forward nicely, great work there.

Overall, a very calm dancing styled song. I enjoy it.

kuduro is really close to the reggaeton beat if u analyze the beat ull see it has resemblance to it...its ussualy slow paced hard and sensual beat :P
but i thought of mixing it up with synths keeping the beat and adding a bit more electro :D

i ussualy do music for earphones changing the pan all the time or so on :p
i really focused on atmo on this track keeping a nice reverb and giving it a long distance from the beat :3

and thx for the review ure comments are ussualy the most fun to read and analyze the song with cuz u ussualy compare the song with feelings :D and thats
awesome :3 thx

Cake!!

Well this sounds like a solid foundation piece and not too bad at all either. Has a happy party feeling to it as well that kind of makes you put your hands up at a rave and just enjoy the party too. Is that some mixed vocals I hear added to the mix as well? Cool. Very nice demo though, hopefully you leave it when the final product is up so I can try to compare them too. :P

The synth sounds overly cheery and like you were needing to dance to it as well which is pretty great I think. The bass is also happy feeling as well and I enjoy it quite a bit too I think. The drums are pounding and very nice on the ears. Great work there.

Overall, good work in progress. Hope the final piece is even more awesome.

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! I'll make sure to leave this when I upload the final product.

Good blend

This actually sounds pretty cool anyways. Kind of sounds like it might work as a battle theme as well which is even better to know. The tone of the song seems to feel like an early game boss styled song I think since it feels like it would be played for an early game boss and then possibly again later in the game when you face them again after they become far more stronger than before. Very cool beat.

The flute is nice and gives a feel of calmness before the storming of the battle here. The bass is calm and I like how the notes linger for a couple of seconds before changing up. The drums are cool and I like the triplet rolling it goes out for and then the cymbal banging is cool. I liked the synth as well giving a feel of the battle getting ready to be more intense.

Overall, great boss song, great loop.

Tear jerked

Ah this is a very nice song and kind of has a sad tone to it as if something very tragic had happened to the character the song tells of. That or they are simply staring out a window at night wondering where it all went wrong for them and why they no longer have any friends. No matter what they try, they can't seem to make it with anyone. They just want it all to stop. They open the window of the ten story building and look down feeling daring.

They soon close the window realizing that is only the selfish way out and close it walking instead to their bedroom and sleeping as the sun rises and they prefer the afternoon and night time as life is so much calmer then. They look out at the moon and stars once more hoping that the next day will be the day that changes it all and that they can become happy.

Very beautiful piano composition. Kind of makes you feel sad if you played it at the right time during a movie or short I think. Wonderful piece of music. I enjoyed it.

Overall, beautiful.

I always enjoy when people write out their visual interpretations of my music. Thanks for the review, SCTE3, it's much appreciated. Thanks, RRC.

Roman feeling

Reminds me of older movies with Romans and they usually had these kind of themes playing at different times as well. Sometimes even during a montage of training clips showing them trying to become a better person and warrior or maybe them simply spiraling into madness and lunacy with delusions put into their mind by other warriors and royal people. Very nicely done song. I like the title as well. Gives a feel this song is them simply leaving it all behind until they are ready to come back.

The drums are great and I like how they give a dynamic battle feel as if getting ready for a huge battle in the later part of their lifetime which they must deal with. The flute gives a feeling of calmness and serenity as they seek answers as to who they must become to solve all of their problems and then hopefully that of others as well too.

The trumpets and trombones give a feel of them being on an epic quest looking for answers too.

Overall, very beautifully composed song.

Thanks for the insight... I love it that everyone has slightly different ideas on the symbolism and relevance of the piece. I never thought of the juxtiposition of the flute and horns in such a way, but it makes great sense. :)
