Excellence

Those voice chops are awesome and like the drum beat making it so much better. The voice chops sound kind of robotic yet so awesome at the same time. Really like how the beat flows together with the synths and guitar playing at the same time. The drums and voice chops are beautiful.

I just have to say that overall though, this song is great. The new show version of this is also cool. Still can't figure out why it's so much fun just to sit there and watch it though.

Overall, excellent job!!

THANKS!
Yeah, it was hard getting the vocals because each was cut straight from the song so they had the backing. I did some treatment to minimize the instruments, but it's still there. I designed the rest around what instrumentation I couldn't cut out of the clip. The guitar and some other elements were from the original song, and i just put it together so it flows.

Great

Really like how upbeat and cheerful this piece manages to beat. the piano and synth work together and create a great melody. Really wish I could say more but I can't. Excellent work on this cool piece.

Excellent work? Haha, this is ten minutes work at the most xD.

But thanks for reviewing!

Brilliant mind

I have to say, this beat is pretty dark yet catchy at the same time. I can really see this being used in a dark rpg styled game as well where you were either escaping a experimental lab of some kind or arriving in some magical land and staying away from the friendly individuals as you had no idea if they were truly friendly or not.

The bass and synths sound awesome. Really love the whistle bell sound that plays throughout the who tune as well. It gives that feel as if you should be happy as you go to new places and experience new things in life as well.

The drums put emphasis on how serious it is to get out of there at the same time as there are surprises around every corner. Good and bad ones. Which ones you find are up to the mind.

Overall, a great piece of work.

dark? that wasn't exactly my intention but if thats how you see it then thats how it is :P

glad u guys like that bell sound :) its one of my favs too.

the drums are one of the stronger points of the song

Sounds steady

Really liked the build up at the start, Kind of makes me think of a DJ pony for some strange reason as well. The way the beat just slowly comes cooked togehter is probably also great here to me. The way it just seems to repeat itself while other sounds will come in and spice it up to the full beat is awesome.

The drums sound a tiny bit of tune though, they sound good over all but maybe one double after the triple hit every time would be nice to do. The synth part in the middle was fairly nice and kind of felt ambient for a moment to me. The bass line seems very soft and good as well.

I have to say that overall, this is an excellent beat. Great job!!

I'm glad you liked it! :D

I agree with the drums. They could use just a little more variety.

Thanks for reviewing :)

Yo kittens, what up?

Well I can strangely see a hilarious montage of cats falling off chairs while sleeping while this music plays in the background and the final clip being a cat falling up into the chair for humorous effects.

The cymbals, drums, and funky synths make this beat very lively actually and I enjoy this the whole way as well. Also is that Sonic spinning up that I hear in there as well? Well I have to say then this is an awesome way of turning it into music in a good way.

The bass, and deep wah dubstep sounds make this feel a bit spacey yet amazingly awesome at the same time.

Kind of makes me feel like I could have an even better day than it has been in a long time.

Overall, an excellent piece.

A montage of cats falling off chairs and one that levitates LOL!
Glad i could put such a playful image in your head :3
Yeah that was a sonic spin charge sound you heard. i downloaded it off freesound.org its not the original spin charge but its very very very close. i acctually chopped up the sample into 8 parts and found the notes that were in the sample. i think it was A# C# D# and G.

I figured since this was a remix/cover of "theme of metal city" found in the game sonic riders it should have a signature sonic the hedgehog sound. I had alot of fun cutting up that sample and filtering it to make dubstep wifflewobbles.

I'm really glad you liked it so much

Thank you for the 10

Subtle sadness

This has a sad feel to it with a piano intro that eventually incorporates a funky bass and drum riff to go with it. Liked how you speed rapped as well but the background music makes it sad as well. Kind of makes you feel sad for whoever you are singing about as well too.

The beat keeps and supports your voice as well. Although this song at some parts I kind of got a feel you were moving to and away from the mic when you got a bit louder and then went back to normal. I really see no problem here either.

This is just a sad piece as well. Could bring a tear to someone's eye. Beautifully sad and moving piece of music you wrote here.

The songs about me ;D.
Anyway, thank you for the kind review and positive score. I appreciate it my man.

Running smooth

the start picks up rather slow but seems to run over smoothly actually which is good for a house song as they tend to start slowly and build up the full and amazing beat. This one kind of made me think of video games. Have no idea if you intended that to be happening though so there is what I see when I hear this.

The beat flows together like water in a river, coming from a few places and leading to one sound beat of amazingness. The synth was really making me feel a kind of castle feel to it actually.

I can slightly hear a robot voice in there somewhere. The bass and drums go over well. Later I realize the robot sound is just part of an incredible build up that picks back up on the beat with a few new funky sounds.

Excellent work here.

Thank you! I worked really hard on that robot-bass sound. Yeah, I'm really into video game music and there's a bit of influence there.

Quite awesome

This is like having a sugar rush and I can kind of see how kois fit into this. The speaking was rather irrelevant but I guess when you have made a beat that amazing, fast, and stays in focus then it won't matter as much what you add to it I guess.

Really like the synths, drums, and bass the whole time. The claps were a nice addition. This song is just incredible overall. Nice work on it. Looking forward to more.

OcularNebula responds:

wow, thanks!

Funny

You did a pretty good job on this. Really liked how fitting the lyrics were with the music playing. You have done a good job of humoring me with this. Still enjoying them so keep them coming as you do it. How do you manage to find lyrics and songs that together like puzzle pieces?

DJSethLee responds:

I dunno. It just comes to me while falling asleep in geometry class most the time. That's how my inspiration comes to be. lol

Funny I guess

to be honest I have been playing Pokemon since I was 4. I still play and watch it actually. Collect the cards but don't watch it very much sadly. Pretty nice parody as well and the lyrics were pretty funny. Although I have to say your voice was a little off beat at times though. Would love to hear you do a duet of this with someone for the chorus.

Very nice job on this. Looking forward to some more parodies.

djfunnelcake responds:

I'll keep that in mind, this is still just a rough version I plan to fix the vocals. Thx for the comment!
