Calming

Kind of makes me think of Final Fantasy anyways which is a nice food for thought actually. The tune just kind of makes me think of Edea and Ultimeceia anyways.

The vocals sound very calming and yet strange at the same time as well. The drones sound quite pleasing to me anyways. The strings just give a strange moment of piece feeling as if a boss battle was going to start at any moment. The timpani, never heard of it but it sounds really cool.

The plucked strings are pleasing and kind of make me think of a harp as well.

Overall, very cool Final Fantasy feeling tune.

Strange

I think this could possibly work for a very bizarre space designed level kind of thing I guess. Still sounds quite charming though. Kind of reminds me of the anime DearS.

The synth is very pleasing and calming in my mind actually. It just seems to go so well as a beat in my head. The bass line sounds soft as if helping the player relax. Then the high space notes kind of make me think of some movie from the 90s I can't recall the name of. I think it was Ferngully.

The drums sound very nice here and play out a calm beat that is also very fast and cool too. The whole beat comes together and just makes you feel like you were part of the level or in the intro song for some anime.

Overall, cool video game piece.

Under the housey house

Well I like the way it starts with the whoosh and then it changes into a really cool house beat for people to enjoy. Kind of like the strange space alien feel you added to it as well. I guess anyone would feel that way upon moving to a new country t though.

The whistle and whoosh sounds were pretty cool. The synth sounds really nice and plays a good rhythm. The drums are solid and smooth too. The drums have a cool cave like feel to them actually. The bass line is very wet yet very cool at the same time too.

Overall, I like this house beat, kind of makes me think of Pinkie Pie.

Haha thank you, these reviews are all really encouraging.

Groovy remix

I guess people still like to move it, move it right? The remix kind of makes you feel like getting up and moving to the groove anyways which is always nice to hear I guess. Very nice remix though.

The synth sounds pretty nice and 20% more funky than the original. The drums are really nice and flow good on this one. The xylophone was a nice addition. The bass is funky and smooth like drinking water too.

Overall, really nice beat remake, liked it a lot.

Great piece

Heh, have to say I really find this to be an interesting piece anyways. The loudness of it makes you feel like the floor below you is crumbling as well. I really like to say that this piece is pretty awesome and kind of makes you feel like it was a rave piece.

The synth is pretty awesome and sounds quite great in my opinion as well. The bass line is simple and kind of makes me think of a person breathing as well which is funny I guess. The drums are liquid warm and cool sounding lastly.

Overall, I think you turned out quite well in making a beat like this, it has a whole lot of rhythm and groove to go with it.

Strange

Rhythm? have it or you don't?

Most of the start didn't sound like much of a beat sadly. Then it starts to slowly sound like it might be a beat of some kind.

The drums sound very strange and chaotic to me. Almost as if someone was just banging away at random notes trying to produce a good song. Also kind of makes you think of a factory too.

The choir sounds quite pleasing anyways. Then you got a slight synth sound in there too. Then altogether it slowly forms a very chaotic beat of sorts anyways.

Overall, probably not the best you have done right?

SoulSecure responds:

Naw, I thought that beat out. To me it sounds very much so like a beat, with a clear structure, it's just not your average beat.

No, it's not my best, but if I had added variations and junk, it'd be much better.

Robots

Kind of makes me think of Cooler from DragonBall Z actually who was a pretty bad ass half robot, half alien being. The tune has a robotic feel to it though which is really sleek and pleasing to hear. A nice Robot Day tune.

The synth sounds very cool and holds a simple rhythm that kind of makes me think of a side scroller game. The bass is simple and has kind of a wub sound to it as well which is rather pleasing to hear too. The drums are pretty cool and nice to hear how those worked out on this piece.

Overall, cool robot boss tune piece actually.

Thanks for another good review :) Maybe it sounds like a side-scroller because I've done the music for a couple side-scrolling games? xD I feel like i could have worked on the drums a bit more though, maybe ill take a second look at them.

Boss battle Omega

Yup, I love how some boss battles just have an epic theme to go with them such as Deoxys in Emerald or Omega Weapon in FF VIII. The fast piano here provides a really sweet boss tone to go with once more.

The piano sounds very rapid and then the violin was pretty sweet. The weird bass has a cool rhythm going to it to make it feel like a harsh plant boss. Then the simple use of drums is quite pleasing on this one.

The title kind of reminds me of Earth Tyrant from FF XII.

Overall, very cool boss beat.

Highly dandy

Sounds like a really cool video game piece anyways. Kind of like something that you would hear for the first few levels of a strange adventure platform game. The beat has a really hopping feel to it as well.

The synth sounds very slow, pleasing, and light to me. The deep synth bass is pretty cool and kind of makes me think of bees making a beat together for the rest of the hive I guess. Like the weird sword like sounds I hear as well.

The drums have a nice rhythm. Really like the wet bass kick they have. Double synth use later is pretty sweet.

Overall, wickedly nice.

Hopeful

Kind of reminds me of the start to a Tekken 5 song actually except it has been extended to focus on the intro instead of coming out to the rave piece of the song which is pretty cool. I like the way the tune kind of captures your mind and puts it into happiness too.

The chords sound very calming and slightly happy as well. The deep wet bass is pretty cool sounding and kind of weird to me, kind of makes me think of the Kraken battle from Earthbound too. The beeping sound I hear kind of makes it feel like a space piece.

Overall, beautiful composition.

Hi!
Thankyou for the review. As always; I appreciate it
However I have a minor gripe; when someone rates less than 10 and is writing a serious review, I consider that it's kinda common courtesy to state why this is, so that the music can be improved. Because, surely, if it is not full score, then that means that you feel that there is room for improvement.

Of course I am not saying this angrily, lol, I really just feel it would help me out a lot more if you was able to pinpoint what it is that you feel should be worked upon, for my own development.

That aside, indeed it's interesting that you say that this piece has a certain happiness to it, in a sense.. yes it does; although that happiness is not without an underlying tone of sadness/mourning. It's the sort of happiness where you smile in spite of disaster, a new beginning.. a 'Rebirth'

I haven't played Tekken 5.. I will look for the music to compare :)

Thanks for the review! :)
