Well, glad to hear everything went better than expected meeting a fan girl or vice versa.
"PIneapples." <3

The animation was really nice.

The story was heartbreaking for a bit in that the dog was alone and unloved for so long and then when his owner comes home. He has to compete with her lover for affection and attention. Hilarity ensues. Kind of funny how it ends with what seems to be the two starting to get used to each other but the rivalry is going to be quite strong for awhile.

The music used being your own original work is also nice, I liked that a lot.

The graphics were nice and reminded me of some older music videos here on Newgrounds. I look forward to seeing more like this in the future.

Overall, looks nice, you have a new fan now. :)

Cameron-Ohara responds:

It is a little heartbreaking there, isn't it? I was worried that the bride being portrayed in the video wouldn't like it - but she wound up loving it *Phew!*

Thank you for the detailed comment, for the good kudos on the music and for the follow!! Right back at cha! ;)

This music video always puts a smile in my heart. Love to hear it.

This was a beautiful redoing of what the game was like in 6 minutes. Ironically, all the loading screens (happenining only once) takes well over 35 minutes of game time.

Nice to see this one was finally done. Always wonderful to see your work. :)

RogerregoRRoger responds:

Well there were also briefly loading screens when Sonic talks to the love priest.
I guess Knuckles scared them off, heh.
Glad you liked it!

This ws a wonderful display of action. Quite a twist seeing her head taken off near the end. Really look forward to seeing what the fourth one will bring to the series. Amazing work.

I wasn't featured in the chat but I would say this really summed up the chat experience for a lot of the days sadly. Nicely done yurgen. <3

This is really short but still decent.

The story was nice, I can see how they might make a depressed person feel a bit better. Funny how it ends with Frogman not wanting to shoot and promising nothing gay will happen at his place as long as a certain frog is not there. Pico's "What?" was funny.

The audio was nice, although I think adding sounds for each bullet would have been nice to add. However, I can understand how they might take a bit more time and made this be released a bit later than planned.

The animation was really nice, funny to see how Darnell checks his gun the wrong way, sad to see that Nene is nowhere to be seen.

Overall, nicely done Pico Day animation.

Short yes, but only a small part of a much longer project, check back next Pico Day for the full thing ;3
I'm glad you liked my bit of foreshadowing near the end. Certainly no gay times to come in the next scene, heh.
I guess I can add sounds for the bullets in the full thing. I really need to get better at sound design.
A few people have mentioned a lack of Nene, so I'll try to find a place to sneak in a cameo for her in the full film, heh. And thank you for the compliment on the animation, I worked hard to get it done in time for Pico Day and I'm very thankful to Misty for doing some inbetweens as well.
Again, the full thing will definitely come next Pico Day, it's like 17 minutes long so it should definitely be worth the wait.
Thanks for the review!

Easter was quite a holiday for people who smoke weed this year it seemed.

While the animation was short I thought it was funny.

The voices were pretty nice and I see there is little to no static in the background anymore, I like that.

The animation was short but nicely drawn. Not too sure how the graphics could be better aside from practicing and drawing in more detail but the series seems fine as it is.

The background music was relaxing.

Overall, not too much to say, not bad though.

artistunknown responds:

Heh, yeah, as soon as I found out Easter was on 4/20 this year I just had to make an animation about it ;3
Short animations are fun to do, but I long for working on longer projects, and I will definitely be starting on a full FrogMan episode soon, I just want to get a few things out of the way first.
We have been making more attempts at getting better with audio recording, I even managed to get a new mic, so I'm glad the quality has improved.
Personally I think I could use more shading but yeah, everything's looking nice and I did spend a good bit of time making it look nice so I'm glad that shows.
Thanks for the review!

Really nice animation and cool to see your cousin was the one providing the music. Really hope he and his band get signed onto a record label at some point.

The animation was nice. At times it seemed a bit scrapped looking such as when he was performing in front of that huge crowd which seemed non-existent. However, for the most part it was nice to see the variety of both animation and words flying by on the screen for switching between verses and the chorus.

The audio was pretty nice and the rhythm sounded pretty good. The only thing that felt off was that bit of dead static air at the start, after the guitar rhythm kicked in the dead static was not existent for the rest of the animation.

Overall, very nicely done. Props to you and your cousin.

Thank you! I can't advocate on the music production side of things as I was handed the track as is and animated to it, but I'll pass the comments on!

The scrappy looking parts were a little rushed, I was sort of working to a deadline (my cousin's EP launch) so there were parts that could've been improved with more care and attention to them. Besides that though I'm extremely happy with it and I'm really grateful for the aweosme feedback! Seriously, thank you :D

This was quite funny.

The lyrical style of Parry Gripp has always reminded me of Weird Al for some reason. Only difference being he has less of a squeaky voice than Al and tends to sound more forceful when he sings which makes me happy.

The animation was pretty good. The characters seem a bit boring looking and focuses more on facial expressions. I guess you drew in this style since drawing a full character, hair, clothes, details and all for more than a few frames takes more time than you want to be used right?

The vegetables looked pretty simple yet nice. I also enjoy vegetables but can't stand the taste of some vegetables such as beets or asparagus. Song kind of reminds me of an earlier song that someone else animated on here (Do You Like Waffles?). Nice to see that years later, people like you still enjoy animating his tunes.

The backgrounds were also good. Only really glaring issue I felt was with the brick wall for some reason. Not sure why but it felt slightly off to me for whatever reason. I can let it slide on animating the inside of his mouth since I imagine that would be putting in far more detail than what is really needed for a music video.

The audio is Parry Gripp, not much more needs to be said there. Kind of sad how he stopped doing "Song a Week" after a year. However, I imagine making a song every week was a lot of work.

Overall, very nicely done music video.

Yusuf responds:

Yeah the brick wall was a bit of an issue for me, and thinking back I should have done something like no lines but different colours. Oh well. Thanks!
