Fantastic

Have to say the guitar riff sounds pretty fantastic and for a moment made me think of Pokemon actually. Mostly it reminds me of some of the bands from the 90s though which is nice to hear anyways. I like the jam session you had going with this one. The riff just sounds great to me. Can't wait to hear the solos, bass, and possible drums that will be added.

Overall, great session.

Thank you. Hopefully the finished product will sound a lot better than how it is now. Thanks for the review.

Let's Go!

Well I think one of the draw backs of the Mega Man series aside from being too fun is that game along with several other games to date never gave checkpoints but made you memorize passwords instead. If you didn't know them you were in for a long day of redoing many levels.

The bass line here sounds very wet and very smooth as well so I enjoy seeing that going as it is. The synth sounds pretty much like a pop piece but also very happy as well making the beat enjoyable.

Overall, nice remake.

Cheers SCTE3! :D

Irony is, the tune is happy, yet for a password screen and game over, seems a bit odd, so, a mix of dark and light.

Basic and interesting

Really like how well it works as a loop. It also sounds quite interesting and reminds you of those blue goombas that were later dubbed as gloombas oddly enough. This is still a pretty sweet remix though, I like it anyways.

The trance like drums are cool, wet, and nice. The bass line is kind of got a phaser effect to it and works very well too. The synth sounds very well done here and has some really nice heavy parts to it as well, I enjoyed it.

Overall, good times, good remake.

you again ^_^

Thanks for the 9 and the input, I appreciate it :D

Castles

Well it does have a castle atmosphere and tone to it which kind of builds up the setting even further. You walk around as a ninja knight who guards the princess/prince from outside harm and enemies. You soon begin working for a darker lord... maybe Ganondorf?

The bass line and drums seem to work together to create a very dark area feel here as they make the person feel most likely unwelcome at the castle lest they be a knight themself with a message for the king. The ambient trumpet and piano notes add even more to the dark atmosphere.

Overall, nice castle theme, would work well in a dark castle like level in a game.

Ironclover responds:

I'm really happy it came out so good, It would work mainly as a castle theme, but it's ment for a Firey Atmosphere :D Thank you as always for your reviews :D

Mystical

Seem to have captured the mystical feel of the forest. If they made this really dark feeling then it would have been for a nice boss tune as well which would be pretty neat as well.

The keyboard sounds really cool since it seems to be doing a whole lot of sound effects on this one. The bass sounds pretty great as well. Really like how that went.

Overall, very nice cover here.

Calming

Well I have to say this is not an overworld theme I recognize very well. I remember it from some certain levels though where there was no real goal aside from having fun and collecting coins that were everywhere. Still a very cool remake of the tune though.

The violin was a very nice piece of this. I really like the harp and xylophone working together to create a wonderful combination and beat. The synth was also nice.

Overall, cool SMW3 remake.

SO relaxing

Yes it is. Just has a really nice Summer feel to it and makes you feel relaxed with the beach sounds playing in the background of this piece too. Nice work remaking a classy and amazing relaxing Earthbound piece.

The keyboard sounds really pleasant and quite good to say as well. The trumpet sounds pretty cool yet simple and easy to play as well. The bass is simple and highly relaxing as well since it kind of carries you into a groove. The drums are lastly calm and smooth to hear.

The seagulls and beach wave sounds are a nice touch.

Overall, nice cover of the Summer theme, watch out for those weird taxis.

Coffee Break

Possibly one of the few defining moments of the game as there were only two of them you were able to have but you could do them as much as you wished while you reflected on the story thus far and what you have yet to complete on it. Fun how the higher you were in level the less likely you were to have to battle things until the final area of the game.

The ambient keyboard notes are very lucid and calming as you relax and sit back and possibly actually drink a cup of coffee and relax for a moment while getting ready for the hardships ahead in the game.

The bass line is very smooth and holds a very solid rhythm that kind of helps you relax even further as you get ready. The drums provide a nice rhythm as well and help feel relaxed as they play ever so slowly. The chorus is nice a touch.

Overall, the coffee break was always nice and pleasant sounding. Great game, great times!!

Catchy

Heh, have to say that was a fun part of the game where you relaxed a bit while they entertained you for a bit with their song. It was truly a fun time indeed.

The bass line has a very prominent place in this tune as it helps play the main tune and tone of the song which is neat. The drums sound very basic yet catchy as well. The piano sounded quite pleasant and awesome at the same time too. The trumpet was great.

Overall, great cover piece of a good Earthbound song!!
